The hotel was booked for my wife by her company and I was fortunate enough to be able to come along.
Our first impression was “wow” 😲
The Hotel was just renovated last year and it shows. Everything is up to date, the beds are super comfy, the windows can be completely blacked out and the shower is amazing!
The whole vibe of the hotel with the small chapel and the oldest house in Neuruppin being used as restaurant is just so warm and welcoming. I wish more hotels in Germany were like this.
The staff is also very friendly. They had no problem adding a second night and me as an additional guest to the company booking and separating everything out correctly on the final invoice. They also accommodated our late arrival by putting our key in the restaurant for us to retrieve.
We have friends in Neuruppin and are often looking for a place to stay while we visit. I don’t think we’ll look anywhere else again! I can’t recommend this hotel enough!

Vibe is a great word and an even better feeling. You just know you've found a place that reflects your individuality (and that of the thousands of other guests). So, there's nothing worse than a letdown when the vibe tells you otherwise. Yummy brew, setting from Cabaret (the beer garden scene, except without the...well, you know), apple trees in fruit and a waiter that is as regimented and happy as a door knocker Sadly, the fish is problematic. The trout is overcooked, and the potatoes are boiled and ok. The carp is a greasy mess. Bratkartoffeln should be boiled, then cut and fried. If you fry them a second time, you need to make sure the oil is smoking hot, and the pan not crowded...or, you get this. The carp was (I think) fried in a deep fryer, which can work, but in this case, barely does. The veggies are a rare treat when fresh. These came from a jar....yay. The whole occasion is a few fireworks short of a celebration.

Family stayed at Hotel, we ate in courtyard restaurant. Lovely place, nice food, good german style. Accessible rooms without stairs. Great location for pedestrians or cycle tourists.

Great place. Outstanding German food and very good value. We sat outside on a very pleasant evening. The inside was busy - good sign. V good service too. Pork and veal exceptional and a lot of it.

We stayed two nights and enjoyed it very much. The room is beautifully decorated and the breakfast was lovingly and richly presented. Great and personable owner. We would love to come back!
