Hotel Restaurant Molitor in Bad Homburg

I hosted a children's birthday event in this place and the experience has been nothing short of nauseating.
The place was unable to serve nearly half of pre-arranged food items. They only acknowledged this when the event was about to end.
The place at first refused to serve additional a-la-carte water bottles, in scorching heat, to our party, consisting of 12 adults and twice as many children. The waitress said: "The water bottles you just drank were for children, you shouldn't have drunk them". Took some common sense-defying persuasions to get more water. The explanation: "I thought you wanted them for free". Absolute insanity.
Waitress has been unfriendly and confrontational for absolutely no reason. She took the liberty to discuss tariff details with my guests.
Noone should ever leave their money at this place.

So, are you saying that raw veggie dishes, as confirmed in our Excel sheet were served? My guests don't seem to remember that. I do remember however that by the end of the event you informed me that you were unable to deliver. Admittedly, you reduced the price in consequence. I'm sure your records show that, too.
The truth is, my guests were ordering profusely a la carte, and you and your staff failed to deliver. And this poor service, in combination with very bad attitude amount to a dreadful experience and 0 guest's comfort at Molitor. You are proving my point, grownups were snacking from kid's plates because of the poor service, but instead of catering to sizable orders a la carte, you were focusing on the wrong thing.
Good reviews don't come from you being self-centered and bad tempered, you have a long way to go to improve that. And, as your reply shows, you have 100% focus on your petty processes and 0% on guests' experience.
I was intending to spend maybe 3x the amount, and I wish you had earned that money. Your place simply wasn't up to the task.
This is your chance, Molitor, let's try things on a nicer tone: What is the first point of improvement you'll start working on? Otherwise, how can you expect that I, in good conscience, recommend other families go through the same ordeal?
