We all loved the bartender in the hotel bar who has been there for 28 years. I will stay here again next year with my team who also enjoyed it very much.

Location is quite far away from the train station.

I have to stay in HG regularly. Most of the time I choose Parkhotel, as the service is really ok, the rooms are comfortable.

Nice hotel. No bells and whistles. I had some trouble regulating my room temperature. Staff was nice and friendly. Food options seemed limited.

It is only mentioned in the small print (eBookers) on a mandatory Breakfast, without mentioning a price for this. The Breakfast is included in the displayed total price are NOT included. Upon arrival, you will not be drawn to this very unusual business practice. Previously, it was in all of the hotel my stays on ebookers as well as various other portals (or at the time of booking through the Hotel itself), that can be either a room inklv. Breakfast is included (in the price already), or, optionally, in claim that can't be taken (included in the price). In this Hotel you have to pay the Breakfast extra, even though it's not a claim. With this approach, the customer is animated on purpose with a lower total price for the reservation and then find that he is pulled over the table. There was no contrary to come to the hotel, although personally, I have seen the previous day on a rough fault of the hotel. It was ceiling from the Hotel instead of the booked double room with two people, prepared the room just for one Person (a bed, a pillow, disposable towels, etc.). Due to the very late arrival in the middle of the night and our fatigue, we have objected to this until the following day (2 days stay).
Because of my personal experience with this Hotel I can't recommend this is absolutely so, and would seriously warn against the, in my opinion, intentionally hidden costs!

We super felt at ease here, in the Hotel, which is housed in the old residential buildings. Particularly positive is the warm welcome of the reception staff was (really nice and not contrived), the clean and beautiful room with giant balcony (room number 234, highly recommended with views of the landscaped Kurpark), the funny Elevator and the very tasty Breakfast. And all we have booked at a very affordable price.
If we're ever back in the area, we will come again. We were really 100% satisfied with everything. Thank you for the lovely stay.
