Service was terrible, took forever to get clean sheets and towels, no help when locked out. Very rude to us as well.

Nice place on the oldest part of the city, no cars allowed, quiet place 200 meter from bus stop to Frankfurt.
Graf Isenburg gave this place in the middle of the Wood to a group of french Christiaan who had to run from the French King.

Very nice and kind service. All good for business trip:) perfect connection with Frankfurt, every 10’minutes.

Now under new management - very poor guest experience and very badly run.
Had arranged breakfast, told price €5 (price on website €5.50). The night before we were due to depart management knocked on our door at 9.30pm (knowing we had a 1 year old child) and asked for €9 each day per person for breakfast. Asked to discuss in the morning as had to sleep they demanded we pay there and then as no-one would be there at 9am in the morning they insisted (threatening to call the police at one point) demanding that we pay now. They told us that the price had gone up because they hadn't been able to provide the breakfast themselves and it had been provided by a local bakery instead. After some hostile discussion from rude management we agreed to pay the bakery directly.
There was a drunk (semi-naked) person asking to be let into the hotel, we phoned the hotel management and they asked us to let him in...we are not responsible with dealing with their drunk guests!
There was very rarely anyone at reception, certainly never in the morning.
Room was dusty with mold. Cotbed which we had previously asked for wasn't in the room when we arrived.
