Where to stay in Oberhausen

Good hotel to stay in. Missing some basic amenities but could be asked at service desk. Next to Oberhausen Centro shopping centre and busses to central is just walking distance.

More like a 3 star hotel rather than 4. Basic necessities like a 3 star would have. Parking could’ve been inclusive just for hotel guests since it’s a 4 star as well. Location is great since it’s right next to the biggest mall in Europe!

The rooms are clean but quite simple, making it feel more like a budget hotel rather than the four-star accommodation it claims to be.

Nice hotel in Oberhausen, close to the city center with a large mall, night life, and lots of restaurants and bars. Hotel is nice, friendly staff. On site parking is availale for an additional € 15.- per night per car; breakfast buffet is optional for € 20,- The room was clean with a nice spacious shower. The airconditioning did not work.

The breakfast was good .location is perfect, just 2 mins walk to Centro mall and the winter market. Rooms are perfect and staff is very friendly .I think this is the first hotel where I saw the environment's sustainable goals implemented. Definitely visiting again

a very hard bed, low pillow. no coffee machine in the room. and the parking lot was very poorly organized, it took me almost an hour to get in and I had to go and park somewhere else.

Overall, everything was great. Unfortunately, there was no safe in the room. Breakfast was okay, but the scrambled eggs weren't freshly cooked; I suspect they were from a packet.

Typical hotel for short-term stays, tradespeople, etc. Simple room furnishings, decent self-service breakfast with the option of "breakfast to go". Friendly staff.

Perfect Hotel, Vera clean and friendly

One of the best hotels I have stayed. The rooms and lobby was very clean. I have to tell the service was fantastic, because we booked 2 twin rooms for family of 4. And the hitel staff gave us a conjoined room with door in between. Which was so comfortable and my kids loved it.

The standard room we were in was quite dirty. Hair in the bathroom drain. Breakfast buffet was amazing though. Came here in 2018 and stayed in a junior suite that time and the room was super clean. So I was a bit disappointed.

A beautiful, modern & clean hotel. We had a upgrade from the hotel for the night which was a good surprise, there was free ice-cream for our boys whenever they wanted and the service was perfect, the staff was vriendly and helpful. Intercity hotel is close to the train station which is very convenient when you have to take the train. Room is clean. But water pressure of the hand shower was very low. It might be to safe water but not pleasure for a quick shower.

Right in front of the Central Station of Duisburg. I arrived late but no problem. Very nice rooms and a great bed (had seldom such a good bed in a hotel). I stayed at IntercityHotel Duisburg during the K Plastic Fair. The location is convenient as it’s right next to the train station, and there are nice restaurants nearby. However, the rooms are a bit small, the beds not very comfortable, and there were no towels when I first arrived — though the staff brought them quickly after I asked.

Mercure Duisburg is quite a good hotel. Especially for the price we paid for 4 people. The sleeper couch was comfortable for the kids and the bed for us was nice. Breakfast was very good and luckily served until 10:30 a.m. because it was school holidays. The room was nice, too, although a bit small, but we had booked the cheapest category. However, we chose this hotel because of the pool and sauna. The pool was broken and unusable. The sauna is actually available from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., but you have to call ahead or wait half an hour to use it in the morning...

Nice room with practical furniture, comfortable bed, sufficient lighting and a nice bathroom. Nice extras such as coffee, water and refrigerator in the room. Also no shortage of power outlets. Entrance hall room is an extra asset.

SatNav had a difficult time finding the hotel! The room was large/quiet/& clean. Parking was easy and safe. We had booked dinner at the hotel and the restaurant was very good. Service and staff very friendly. Breakfast was also served in their restaurant and was good and varied. Overall we thought that this was the best hotel that we had stayed at on our trip.

My favourite place for the long stay in Dusseldorf area . Nice hotel , good restaurant and very warm hospitality feelings . The hotel is fully accesible for the wheelchair users (as I am) The incredible staff as Nihhil , Sharin , Torben , Chiara and the others make the real added value

Great hotel in a Great neighborhood..... Well..... just by luck I selected a hotel which is in the best neighborhood in Oberhausen... What impressed me most was that it was quiet..... For a family Oberhausen has everything: Good schools....ice skating....beautiful football field.....a forest 100 meters from the hotel.... great bakeries.... This place was perfectly positioned a couple of hours from the port for an overnight stay before exploring Germany. The car park was spotless. Great hotel. The breakfast was super. Despite the fact that we are usually not big meat ball fans we absolutely loved them there. Also worth mentioning is the great selection of cheeses. Elevator renovation ongoing, which required us to use a different elevator - not a big problem. Rooms were excellent with coffee makers etc, but the beds were narrow and very hard - like sleeping on a piece of plywood. The hotel had convenient parking available behing a gate which they could open from the front desk the first time you drive in.

I booked this hotel as part of a business trip and a group tour. The hotel elevator was quite small. What I liked most was the excellent cleanliness. The breakfast was very simple, but the German bread was still delicious. Don't expect too much, haha.

The Hotel offers Breakfast. The rooms are just what you expect at the budget group, but have shower and a bed. Unfortunately no small fridge. All in all enough to sleep a couple nights.

Very good Hotel with excellent prices. No breakfast available therefore. The room and bathroom were the cleanest I have seen in a very long time! Chapeau. The bed is not too soft and very comfortable. One negative point is the lighting in the hallways and quite thin walls. As long everyone behaves well this is not a problem.

Exactly what we needed. Comfy bed, small bathroom enough to do what you need, room was clean and cute, easy check in and easy check out. We booked last minute and got in right away. The owners are really nice! The hotel should update their pictures though because it looks prettier in person than on the pictures!

We vist Techno Classic every year and have stayed at Kampgens hof many times. It is a traditional family run German hotel and the owners are fantastic, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a short stay. The rooms may be a bit dated but it adds to the charm of the hotel

We had the family room for a night (€110). Not a new room but pretty clean. The only improvement we could think of would be a kettle in the room (and coffee/tea set) and fluffier pillows. For a family of 5 (10, 8 and 4 yo kids) the stay was a pleasant one after a day spent at Movie Park.

The room was slightly small, but good enough. I was a bit big for the shower. They are busy with revamping. Would like to see it once finished. Good exercise taking stairs up and down. If you can't climb stairs do not use this hotel

rooms are not soundproof, the fitness centre "downstairs" has music playing loudly and clearly the sound of equipment banging until after 11pm and starts again early morning, resorted to putting noise cancelling headphones on to get to sleep. get up early for breakfast as you run the risk of no milk for the coffee machine and no one to be found to help

This hotel is connected to a shopping mall and directly adjacent to the main train station. The night time environment around the city center is not the best but is ok. It is convienent with the shopping mall and connected underground parking. The room itself was comfortable and clean, the bathrooms could use some updating but all in all a convenient place to stay while on a business trip.

It is very difficult to find the hotel, because of its physical location. Extra effort must be made so the guests understand the parking and access to hotel. Different buildings each on different floors. Otherwise its got access to lots of shopping that was well received
