Hofgut Holzmuhle in Gemersheim

A real gem between the small communities of Germersheim and Bellheim near the Rein River. The family mill was retooled to be a B&B and vender of artisan bread in the 1990s and is an excellent stop over in you are traveling through the Rheinland Phaltz region of Germany.

Only a short visit to an amazing bread-tasting and garden walk. It looks extremely promising for a relaxing stay and relaxed Yoga, plus an incredible host breakfast

On our trip trough Europe we stayed at 79 hotels. This was by far the best and most enjoyable stay. This place exceeded every expectation. We were amazed. The owners are great guys. They look after the guests in a perfect manner. If we have the possibility we'll come back.

A gem!! We found this place randomly and got attracted thanks to all the positive reviews we saw online and I promise they are 100% true and even better! The place is absolutely adorable, the hosts are amazing and everything else also deserves a 10. Even though we came in winter time we could still feel the peace this place brings to humans.

Magical place with two amazing hosts. We had a very good time and will definitely come back in spring/summer when the garden unfolds it’s full beauty. The rooms are very cosy, clean and embellished with lots of lovely details. The breakfast is outstanding (gluten-free and vegan available). Strong recommendation even in winter. Tipp: get in touch up front for yoga classes during your stay!

Let me start by saying, I nearly never write reviews. I rarely experience something so outstanding, that I will spare the time to write about my experience. However, something so exceptional, deserves the praise.
If you are looking for a secret oasis, something magical away from the stress of the world - than this place is your dream.
We have had the pleasure to stay overnight twice and we can't wait to visit again, once these difficult times are over.
From the gorgeous gardens, to the beautiful roaming peacocks, exotic sculptures, perfectly decorated rooms and a breakfast room that needs 5 visits to take in all the clever details - such exquisite luxury requires time to enjoy. The 2 handsome hosts have great chat and a lovely wit, but they also will do anything to ensure your stay is enjoyable. One feels incredibly spoiled, which is exactly why one should stay here.
I can guarantee that you will not be sorry for booking a night at this enchanting establishment. As you can read, there are simply not enough compliments to give.

Amazing place out of a fairy tale

Probably the best hotel I’ve stayed in during trips to the continent. Great hosts, great food, and lovely grounds. 10/10. Will stay again.
