Best Western Hotel Mainz in Mainz

I visit frequently for work. It is a great hotel with nice rooms, restaurant, and parking. Good food options and supermarket nearby also.

Breakfast good and the athmospere, but the bathrobe was soooo tiny.

Nice clean hotel just outside the city Centre but not far from the main train station. The room was nice, bright and clean, the amenities were very nice and the breakfast was quite tasty and reasonably priced. The staff were very accommodating and pleasant. The attached German/Italian restaurant was also very good.

It was great experience staying in hotel and it was really like home coming. All the staffs were very kind and helped me whenever needed. Thanks again Mr Hargas and other staffs. You guys are great

I was pleasantly surprised — I honestly didn’t expect such a great experience!

Everything was exceptionally clean, the breakfast was delicious, and the room exceeded my expectations. I loved the little touch of having two bottles of Black Forest water waiting for me – such a nice surprise! The room itself was very spacious, with a comfortable desk, centrally placed TV, blackout curtains, and a spotless bathtub, which is quite a bonus for a 3-star hotel.

The staff were incredibly attentive and made me feel very welcome. The check-in process was smooth and fast, which I really appreciated.

The Wi-Fi connection was easy to set up and surprisingly fast, making it perfect for both work and leisure. Plus, the TV offered a great variety of channels, including many international options in multiple languages — a real highlight!

The hotel’s layout is also something special. Built on a slope, it has five separate levels that give it a charming, almost labyrinth-like feel. When you enter at what seems like the ground floor, you’re actually on the fifth — a unique and fun detail!

I was truly impressed by the hotel’s structure.

Spotlessly clean, with an excellent breakfast and a flawless room. I was pleasantly surprised to find two bottles of Black Forest water (which I love!). The room was spacious, with a desk, central TV, blackout curtains, and a very clean bathtub – something I didn’t expect from a 3-star hotel.

The hotel building is also quite unique: with five disconnected levels, it feels like a small, charming labyrinth. It’s built on a slope, so when you enter at the ground level, you're actually on the fifth floor.

I checked in after 9 PM and was welcomed warmly, no issues at all. Big kudos to the staff – you really managed to surprise me in every way.

I truly enjoyed my short stay.
And to top it off, it’s only a 12-minute walk from Mainz HBF – walking is faster than any other transport option.

The hotel is located within a 15-min leisurely walk to a train station and a 10-min walk to a bus stop. Although he hotel itself is rather spacious and with a large number of rooms, it felt as if whatever few guests were in the hotel, they had all been accommodated next to each other. This unfortunately meant that I struggled to fall asleep at night as the next room guests had late night conversations or their TV was on until late; and on one of occasion I could not go back to sleep in the middle of the night as the next room snoring was quite audible and disturbing. I stayed for a week-long business trip and it would have helped to have a larger douvet and a small fridge (but it was my own negligence not to notice that the hotel did not offer this amenity). Other than that, the room was rather spacious, very clean and the staff seemed friendly although I had no need to interact with them apart from checking in and out.
