Historical & beautiful building with spacious rooms. Clean & calm rooms. Very conveniently located just steps away from the central rail station & a short walk to the beautiful historical center of Leipzig. However, the bathroom was a little bit tight for a room with 4 people.

The location is very good. It is very close to the railway station and bus station. The room is also very hygienic. There are not many seats in the lobby on the first floor, and there are no sofas.

We appreciated the good condition of the room. It was basic but clean and functional. The staff was polite and we got a good send off from the morning staff. Fiona and Julie were particularly energetic and in good moods for such an early time on a Sunday. It was nice to see their smiles on our way out the door.

The rooms are HUGE, comfy, and super clean. Staff is always polite and helpful, the food is great and the conference space is also very nice. It is close to the market, stores and restaurants. Overall I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely come back.

Great hotel. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was pretty nice , spacious and super clean. Everyone in the hotel was very accommodating and the hotel is pet friendly which is really helpful as we traveled with our dog. Delicious breakfast was the cherry on the top- don’t miss it!

I passed by Leipzig on a car trip and just happened to book a room at Hotel Michaelis. This turned out to be a very good choice as the hotel was excellent in many aspects. Super-friendly and helpful staff. A large and clean room with a view of towers and church spires. Nice breakfast included, as well as a small bottle of wine. All this for 79 Euro, which is very competitive price/performance.

AC malfunction during our stay, unfortunately. Sleepig by open windows is not an ideal solution when the room is looking at the Leipzig Hbf. Trams and traffic all the night. The hotel personnel kindly arranged moving to a small room on the yard side, where we could have a better sleep.

I m quite surprised, I have to be honest. The hotel is as convenient for early flights as it is for exploring the city. Just opposite the transit station, 5 min walking away from the historic center. Public parking 2-3 minutes away from the hotel for 7€ per day. Clean rooms, comfortable bed. We were in a studio which was pretty enough for 3 people. The room, including the vestibule with wardrobe and adjoining bathroom, was surprisingly spacious. Everything you need is there (fridge, kettle, tea/coffee selection, free bottle of water). The furnishings are perhaps a bit dated in style, but everything is clean. The bathroom, with its huge mirror and double sink, was also clean, although limescale had left some marks in the hard-to-reach corners...

The room was clean, the furniture was well-maintained, and the hotel was in a wonderful, quiet location. The bar area was inviting and very cozy. All in all, I felt very comfortable in the hotel. Very good value for money. A smile from the receptionist would have further rounded out the hotel's positive image.

It was not the best stay e ever have had. The staff in the reception was not friendly - it was not possible to eat in the restaurant - and it was very difficult to park the car.

Far from the centre, no air conditioning in the rooms. There is a fan. The vicinity of the hotel is quiet, there is a park nearby, but there are too many mosquitoes because they do not leave them alone. I think I coincided with the season.

Everything was great, the only thing I didn't like was that we went for a walk and when we returned we had to wait a long time with other guests for them to open the door for us because the receptionist was doing his rounds, and it was winter and nighttime

Very brand new hotel located closed to department store such as Globus, dm, TKMaxx and close fast food restaurant. All stay during this visit such a good memory.

There is both underground and on site parking but there are lots of spots on the street towards it. Check in was without problem, booked through Agoda. Even though it's next to the highway it's surprisingly silent. It's quite far from the city center unless you are on a budget or here for the market halls I wouldn't recommend it.

Room and staff were great! We loved the airco in the room and the breakfast particularly. When we booked, we paid almost 120 euro per night. However, during our stay the price was about half of that. This felt disappointing, because we paid in full. During the booking process, we were not notified about the free parking in the street next to the hotel. I was staying 1night at that hotel, the payment, access info were good. Room, single room was good, clean, very basic, but extremely hot and without A/C, different from description online. In the summer month is must be without A/C not possible to sleep, window can be open, but street down is noisy. The hotel's location is perhaps a bit awkward—near the railway tracks—and it followed us into the night, even though we were on the fourth floor. Pretty basic, cost effective and decent hotel in Leipzig. Within walking/tram distance of the city centre. The direct surroundings are a bit less inspiring, but the hotel itself is okay and has a friendly staff and proper German breakfast buffet.

The place is alright and not too pricey, the hotel and rooms are obviously rather old. The rooms are rather small, the beds a bit worn and not really comfortable, somewhat natural given the age. Everything is cleanly. The WiFi does not comply with current security standards. The breakfast is quite ok for the price. The surrounding area has a lot of oriental food options, but little more.

This is a review of the property as an art gallery. Focusing on Leipzig School works, and spread over the hallways of the five floors of the hotel, the Leipziger Hof gallery is quite enjoyable. It can be visited any day between 10a and 8p. Plan between 30 and 45 minutes. Particular highlights include a Mattheuer and a Tuebke.
