Hotel is in ok condition. Staff is nice, with the exception of one lady in restaurant, which is so rude and disrespectful on treatment of the guests. Rooms are a little old, not air condition available. In family rooms, they don’t offer queen beds for families, just offer two single beds and a very hard sofa bed. Parking is very convenient and secure. Restaurant is great, food is good.

We stopped on the way back to the UK. We are very pleased with the experience. Clean rooms and tasty buffet type breakfast. Staff speaks English. Lovely place. One of the best stays. About what you can expect from a 3 star hotel in Germany: average hotel with employees that don't speak or don't want to speak English. The bed was comfortable so we got a good night's sleep. The hotel is very close to the center of the city and thus a great starting point for any activity. It is not the most modern one but it is very well cared for. Clean, cozy, and comfortable - we felt immediately at home.

The room had a kettle, plenty of towels, and various little things like tea and coffee. I also particularly liked the box of cotton pads and ear buds—it's nice to have such practical things in the room. The bathroom was also spacious and comfortable. The hotel is located 5 mins from the train station and less than 10 mins from the city center. There are many restaurants around there. It is quite easy to find and the staffs are nice and friendly. The room is spacious and clean. It’s quite a large hotel. After midnight, you will need the key card to get into the hotel. Overall, it was a good stay.

There is both underground and on site parking but there are lots of spots on the street towards it. Check in was without problem, booked through Agoda. Even though it's next to the highway it's surprisingly silent. It's quite far from the city center unless you are on a budget or here for the market halls I wouldn't recommend it.

Room and staff were great! We loved the airco in the room and the breakfast particularly. When we booked, we paid almost 120 euro per night. However, during our stay the price was about half of that. The reception staff were really friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a cozy bed that made for a good night’s sleep. Good service and breakfast, comfortable beds and well sized rooms. We stayed on the 2nd floor with street view, there you could get the noise of the street also in the night. So stay on a higher floor. The hotel is on a good location, there a few tram stations around where you can get quickly (10-15min) into the city center and to the zoo. Also supermarket and several restaurants are nearby.

This hotel is very good for the money you pay. No loud disco in October. It was very quiet. Furniture is older, bed was ok and clean, carpet was new. Breakfast was average for 10 Euro. Tram nb 7 just across the street will take you to the centre in 15min. Easy enough. Things to improve : very poor light in the bathroom and only 3 analog channels on TV.

Went to Leipzig to watch a game. The hotel's location is average, a bit far from the city center, but quite close to the stadium, just 3 tram stops away. The hotel environment is average, and the trash cans are not cleaned. The hotel has a parking lot, which is very convenient. It's 7 euros a night. Overall, the price/performance ratio is still acceptable.

This is a nice, clean, professional, and affordable hotel with an attached restaurant and bar. There are many beautiful art works throughout the building and in the rooms. American travelers should know this is an older building and your room probably won't have A/C, but will have a fan. Shower water can be as hot or cold as you'd like. Pretty basic, cost effective and decent hotel in Leipzig. Within walking/tram distance of the city centre. The direct surroundings are a bit less inspiring, but the hotel itself is okay and has a friendly staff and proper German breakfast buffet.

The place is alright and not too pricey, the hotel and rooms are obviously rather old. The rooms are rather small, the beds a bit worn and not really comfortable, somewhat natural given the age. Everything is cleanly. The WiFi does not comply with current security standards. The breakfast is quite ok for the price. The surrounding area has a lot of oriental food options, but little more.

This is a review of the property as an art gallery. Focusing on Leipzig School works, and spread over the hallways of the five floors of the hotel, the Leipziger Hof gallery is quite enjoyable. It can be visited any day between 10a and 8p. Plan between 30 and 45 minutes. Particular highlights include a Mattheuer and a Tuebke.

I was here on a business trip working at the Leipziger Messe arena, which is an easy 20min walk away. I'm not sure why else you would stay here because the area is extremely barren.
