Room was clean and comfortable. Pet friendly. Good wifi. Breakfast ok. Great location.
But our room on street side was quite noisy, you get all the traffic noise, passer-bys conversations, dogs barking.
There is no elevator and you have to haul your luggage up steep and rather narrow stairs. We had booked a parking space on the hotel's parking, this was confirmed in writing, but when we arrived, no parking was available. We had to park the car in a public parking around 200m from the hotel, at the cost of 20€/day.

I loved this hotel when I stayed a few years back, and was extremely disappointed to be placed in an annex building this time (room 402), with a view of the rubbish bins. As reception had closed at 6pm (before we arrived) there was no-one to ask if a change to the hotel was possible. The room was over filled with random furniture (e.g. seating for four and a foot stool that blocked access to the bed), it was infested with ants, and had a staircase to the upper floor taking up some of the bathroom, so when guests above us went in or out it was very, very loud (OK if you want to be woken at 7am by heavy footfall, otherwise not). Walking to breakfast in heavy rain, and having no access to a toilet or wash basin in the hotel itself (not available, I did ask), was very inconvenient.

First time experience at the Marin Hotel with a fantastic stay in a "home away from home" feeling serviced by very professional and passionate team members - " liked the (service the room options)" perfect nowadays to support the hotel operators & environmental friendly concepts!!! All in all a very comfortable and perfect located accommodation. Highly recommended!!!

Nette Atmosphäre und gutes Angebot beim Frühstück. Die Lage des Hauses in Westerland war super zentral. Das Zimmer war nett eingerichtet und zweckmäßig.

A very centrally located hotel about 10 comfortable walking minutes from the train station. The hotel is a satellite hotel, partly the rooms are outside of the main building but is right around the corner. There is no elevator. The rooms are all very clean! The furniture is very well-kept but a lot of 90s chic. All in all, however, according to the category Top 🙂

Central location, very nice staff, always friendly and helpful, small but rich breakfast. If you don't need golden taps, you've come to the right place! Thank you for this great vacation.

Great value for money with tiny flaws that didn't bother us, but probably someone else.
There are a few small things to renovate, but nothing big or tragic ...
Beds are very good and not read through ...

Comfortable hotel 5mns away from the seafront. Breakfast is not spectacular and the rooms are a bit small, but everything is spotless clean. A lot of restaurants and cafes nearby.

It's amazing hotel right in the city. Beach, Cinema etc, can be reached quickly. Offers blankets for the beach. Has free Wi-Fi. Friendly staff. Delicious full breakfast
