Hotels with beach in Agia Pelagia

We had a really lovely stay at Out of the Blue Hotel in Crete. The location is absolutely wonderful — surrounded by beautiful beaches and stunning views

We had a fabulous 4 night stay in a 3 bedroom maisonette (upgrade from 2 bedroom maisonette). We were 2 adults and a teenager staying in the last week of the season in October

When we gave our feedback, the guest relations lady didn’t take it very well and rather bluntly mentioned that no other guests had complained about the limited meat options — we felt this was a bit rude and dismissive

We were also disappointed that we couldn’t get even one night at the à la carte restaurant, especially since the hotel was nearly closing for the season in late October

The reception and restaurant staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly — they really made us feel at home from the moment we arrived

Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade on arrival, which made our stay even better

First this Hotel makes it clear that it is on the side of a hill and not suitable for people with walking difficulties. That being said I must make it clear that it is an extremely step and very of steps everywhere

There is only toilets in the basement area under receiption, so a bit of a distance from the dining room, At the Lower pool bar and at the beach bar

Lunch is served at the Active pool, which is halfway down the site, meaning you have to walk halfway down the hill for lunch and then back up again afterwards, so if you are at the upper pool, you have to go down the hill for lunch and then back up the hill back to the upper pool

6, The all inclusive is only from 10am to 11pm, the hotel info says the pool bars are open from 10am until 11pm, but the active bar closes when the pool closes

9, There is nowhere to get drinks before 10am except for Breakfast room, Coffee and tea facilities are in the bedrooms, but no milk or whitener

The hotel were not interested in enforcing this and we witnessed several rows between guests over sunbeds

The room was great and cleaned everyday. The food on the buffet was so nice and the view from the hotel was breathtaking. Not one bad word to say. Great visit from start to finish.

Unique and vastly expansive property. It was so large that there was a whole other pool and another beach we didn’t even discover until the night before our last day

A taxi from the airport to the resort was about 30 min and 45 Euros. I recommend coordinating with the resort to schedule your pickup prior to your arrival. Staff was excellent and accommodating

Be sure to go on all the elevators as they take you to different places. A rental car place and an ATV Quad excursion is economical and within walking distance to the resort

The views from this hotel are mesmerizing, sunrise and sunsets are beautiful. The only minus for us was that if you want to go to the beach you need to pay for lounge chairs, it wasn’t very expensive

Our apartment had 3 balconies, one of them was really big with two sunbeds. The apartment was only about 100 metres from the beach. Also the restaurants and shops are very close to it

Tropical Hotel has a taverna/restaurant and bar on the beach. The view on the gulf of Heraklion is phenomenal. The service is outstanding, the waiters and waitresses are kind, funny, helpful and welcoming

Perfect choice for amazing holidays! Stayed at the hotel for 11 nights with my wife and we had a great experience! Nice, big and clean rooms, friendly owner, right next to the beach, with its restaurant at the entrance and only 12 minutes from the airport

We came here for a meal.. great location on the beach and choices for the whole family... absolutely brilliant service and worth a visit.

The restaurant- by the way- is the best in the whole area! Delicious food, large portions, low prices, fantastic cocktails and very friendly staff! Our holidays couldn’t be better! We definitely recommend it and will visit it again!

The main restaurant is indoors adjacent to the hotel, whilst the popular section is outdoors across a narrow access road, directly on the beachfront

The location was great, everything close by. Above all, I must thank the animators for their amazing work. They managed to get even people involved who usually wouldn’t participate. It’s clear they do their job well

Luckily for me, we hit the jackpot and experienced a holiday I will remember for many years to come. I have to mention the staff — everyone was kind, from the housekeeping and reception to the kitchen and baristas

Special thanks go to Matt and Wiki. It’s obvious they do their work with love and truly enjoy and are fulfilled by it. Thanks mainly to them, we were able to join the activities and enjoy a dream vacation

I didn’t expect much from this vacation since I hadn’t been to the sea for a long time. It was supposed to be a proper rest after a tough year

Hotel is right on the beach, pool, breakfast area and the rooms are immaculate. Cleaned and changed the sheets and towels everyday and staff were incredibly friendly.

We had a wonderful experience at Emi Seaside! We felt very welcome, the room was clean and had a nice view of the beach. The breakfast was so fresh and delicious! The location was perfect

We came in October and even though it was nearing the end of the season the service was fantastic, couldn’t fault it. The resort was great, absolutely lovely beach and the staff are all wonderful

Not to mention pool chairs were all reserved by 8 am by people who would spend the day going between the beach and the pool. Beach is nice and sandy with only small pebbles nearing the water line

We were never advised at any point of this reality, however signs are posted all along the beach recommending water shoes to go swimming. Nice stay but probably would not come back

We stayed here in Agapi Beach Hotel last week for 6 nights. The number one thing that stood out with this hotel is how dedicated, accomodating and hospitable the staff are to making the tourist welcome

Rooms, food, staff and on site gym excellent. Nothing around the hotel apart from small pebble beach but difficult to get in and out of the sea due to slippery rock surface

Despite signs on them to say that people could not put towels on them and then disappear, this happened all the time and nobody rectified it. Suffice to say, we were pool-less for the entire holiday

We love this property! It’s a beautiful location & all the staff members are so friendly & helpful from the front desk to the buffet servers. Also the buffet is the best I’ve ever seen and tasted

Views and design of the resort was the nicest we have ever experienced. There is no club on this resort for entertainment, it is a wellness/relaxing resort

This is a lovely hotel but I wouldn't class it as a 4 star hotel. It is in a beautiful location, stunning views and a quaint little beach in a bay with lots of water activities

Was bought as present for our honeymoon and the room wasn’t the best so I emailed them explaining and next day we got the best upgrade with private pool only thing I’d say is the pool was ice cold, but free robes slippers a bath with an amazing view the food was lovely the staff was amazing the shows were good the bar staff was so lovely and chatty! The views around the hotel are beautiful, and there’s a stunning beach nearby that made our days even more special

Beautiful hotel and surroundings, the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, the food was superb and freshly made and refreshed in a timely manner, our entire family were extremely happy with the food choices each day and the all inclusive aspect meant we never missed out on any snacks or ice creams around the pools

The hotel is close to the little beach at the bottom of the hill and this is well worth a visit and we often enjoyed a few hours down there soaking up the sun or getting a different view over sunset

The food and drinks were varied and catered to all tastes, so there was always something enjoyable for everyone

It is relatively well located with a couple of beach areas within a 10/15 minute walk. The local main beach is very narrow and I think it's a charge of €10 per couple of sun beds

I was surprised to find that the jacuzzi and small sauna aren't included in the price - €20 euros for 20 minutes to use them is rather steep, I think this is rather a wasted benefit to customers, it would be much better to incorporate a booking system and allow free access for these facilities

The staff all seem happy and dedicated. A couple of minor issues were swiftly resolved. Children were using both pools which wasn't best when you want to relax, but they were respectful kids and didn't make lots of noise

There were plenty of sun beds and seating options. The room service and poolside service is very reasonable and food and drinks were great. The pools are rather cold, but make for great breaks from the heat of the sun

We hired a car from a company in the village 10 minutes walk away for €33 for the day, they were a great no nonsense company. We would definitely return to this hotel, we had a relaxing enjoyable time

But, it's a nice atmosphere, plenty of eateries and shops. The sea was clear and even in October fine for swimming and snorkeling. You can walk along the top of the rocks to a viewpoint at the end

It creates such a friendly environment where it is easy to relax and connect with people. I travelled alone and felt completely safe throughout my stay

The rooms are what you would expect for the price and the cleaners do a fantastic job fresh towels and sheets every couple of days

The location is another big plus, with both the beach and the village only around a 10 minute walk away, so it is easy to enjoy the local area without needing to travel far

The room itself was a little dated, but it was clean, comfortable, and everything worked exactly as it should. With such lovely surroundings and beautiful views, it was never an issue for me

If you aim for luxury you should look into hotels around the area. We chose this location and we are very satisfied with it because it had everything we needed

Very good location, close to both markets and beach, nice rooms (especially the back rooms towards the garden), and above all else is the host George, that helped us with many things, all the time ready to make our stay better

And you can do everything on foot, beaches, shopping and restaurants (very good in the village)

It is not the latest, but it is clean and spacious. Above all, Georges' kindness made us have an excellent stay. We felt more like we were at a local's house than in a hotel. The breakfast was very generous

The place is charming, the lemon tree in front of our balcony and life in the field really transported us elsewhere. The parents' room was separate from the other room which also contained a kitchenette

Wonderful apartments with magnificent sea views and only a ten minute walk from the beach. Car hire is recommended if you want to travel anywhere, but the apartments are so comfortable, you might not want to leave.

The apartament is clean and really nice. Little bit far from sea but that is normally on that area. Everybody got rent a car and move from one beach to other so that was not a problem

It's magnificent. Views are fabulous. Beach is near and clean. Great place to stay to discover Crete. I wish I could stay longer.

Hotels in direct sight but still ok. Sometimes you can hear the music or when guests are being brought to the hotel bunker by bus or a quad tour is starting. Cleaning lady very nice, we didn't see anyone else

Great place - zero line, from the room directly to the beach! Hospitable host. A place to stay was chosen in advance and were not mistaken with the choice. Nearby are many shops and cafes. Heraklion is 30 minutes by car

Had an amazing 5-nights stay at Thania. Manolis is a very welcoming and friendly host, who took care of us from the beginning to the end of our trip

This spacious room is spotless and has a comfy bed and a large bathroom. The beach is just 20 meters away. Manolis and Maria are wonderful hosts who are always there for you but also respect your privacy.

with a cosy balcony / area where one can have a nice glass of wine outside. and once out of the rooms one just needs a 1 minute walk to arrive on the beach 😀 Definitely a place to come again for a nice relaxing holiday

Perfect location behind the beach with sea views. Be aware there is not a swimming pool but all rooms have plunge pools on the balcony. The hotel is spotlessly clean with professional and friendly staff

We opted for a room with a plunge pool (most rooms seem to have this on offer). Despite the weather being on the cool side for the first few days we used it daily

It takes about 5 minutes to walk down to the main beach and tavernas. The apartments are a generous size, fully equipped and comfortable-met our needs completely. Rooms were clean, towels and sheets changed often enough

We stayed here with 4kids aged from 7 to 18. The apartments are ideally located -supermarket and car hire opposite, cocktail bar and cafe nearby and both main beaches 300m away

, Properly working air-con on every room. Pool is clean and not too deep for the kids. The owner are really kind and prices on bar by the pool are not excessive. We would really recommend these apartments!

the owner showed us a way to higher ground by first wading through water knee deep then climbing up the side of the building towards Sirena when the lady owner took us in. We had Wi-Fi and she supplied us with towels

We visit this hotel with my friend next week and we had a wonderful time. The service was perfect with friendly staff and rooms are very big with seaview. You can relax in the pool with a coctail in your free time

My daughter and I got a taxi to Agia Pelagia yesterday morning, it was raining but when our hotel a couple miles away rang us a taxi they didn’t warn us of a possible storm

our Jet2 rep, Maria was amazing,constantly ringing us to check we were ok and told us we had to remain there as there were people missing and a fatality

This is a perfect beach hotel apartment. The pool areas are very nice and quiet. The food service is excellent. The staff are extremely friendly. The hotel is conveniently located next to all the shops and restaurants

Quiet location plenty of sunbeds around the two tier pools. Pool side bar perfect for breakfast. Shops supermarket bars and restaurants all within 5 minute walk. Late minute check out thought too

Had a week here in one of the refurbished rooms in block 7. Although we were immediately above the dining room there was minimal noise. Room had plenty of hanging space and drawers. Regular linen and towel changes

We used the pool area a few times - rarely more than a handful of guests around the pool. Beach was busy but ok to get beds if you went before 10am. Friendly staff and everywhere was clean

We were only there for a few hours before we got a late flight back to the UK but everything was fine. Good size rooms and beds with a modern fit-out. The location is great too - very close to the beach!

The hotel is very well located, just a minute walk to the beautiful beach of Agia Pelagia, close to supermarkets, shops and restaurants on the beachwalk

If you want to spend some pleasant family time while meeting and learning about the local culture, come to the Belvedere. Top staff, small typical hotel, come and chat with the people, each more pleasant than the last

And the food was excellent also , and you can choose what you will have for dinner for next evening. And breakfast - all you can eat for all tastes

It’s 200 metres down to the beach which is smooth pebbles and the water was lovely. Nice stroll in the evenings to the main beach which was about 20 minutes to all the bars and restaurants

in front of the accommodation there is a beautiful beach, a little bit too crowded

Fruit, yoghurts, pastries, breads, cereal, omelettes, fried eggs etc. we headed to the pool for our first day. Small but perfect for a quick dip, we practically had it to ourselves most days anyway

After reading some previous reviews we were pleasantly surprised. We arrived late and reception wasn’t open but easy to follow instructions on location of our key and we found our rooms

I fell in love with this place in 5 seconds. It is amazing, beautiful, peaceful and cosy. Hosts are so friendly that it makes us feel like a member of a family

Big, clean and airy; comfortable bed, well equipped and nice bathroom. Easy walk to Agia Pelagia or Ligaria beaches

The swimming pool was nice as well with plenty of sunbeds. The restaurant at the property was delicious! There are several beaches in a walking or short driving distance

We stumbled upon the Pennystella cafe randomly a discussed accommodations for a birthday dinner of 8 people and were provided with an exquisite meal of slow cooked potatoes and pork cooked inside their wood burning oven at the property, along side many other hand made dishes of shrimps, garden beets, and marinated fish

Although not staying in the apartments, I can only imagine they’re to the same incredible level as the bar service! Seriously considering staying for our family visit to Crete next year, and cannot stress enough how wonderful the service was! Would 100% revisit as many times as possible
