A beautiful short experience. Everyone from the staff was so nice from the reception desk ladies to the restaurant staff to the cleaning ladies. Open hearted people that made the overall stay even better. The room was clean and the food from the restaurants was great! Also the visit to the spa was an unforgettable experience. Maria and Pepi were so friendly and helpful and Eirini the therapist was just amazing and skilled! The Spa as a whole was clean and welcoming. I would recommend it to anyone!

I didn’t expect much from this vacation since I hadn’t been to the sea for a long time. It was supposed to be a proper rest after a tough year. Luckily for me, we hit the jackpot and experienced a holiday I will remember for many years to come. I have to mention the staff — everyone was kind, from the housekeeping and reception to the kitchen and baristas. The location was great, everything close by. The sea, the waves. Beautiful. Above all, I must thank the animators for their amazing work. They managed to get even people involved who usually wouldn’t participate. It’s clear they do their job well. Special thanks go to Matt and Wiki. It’s obvious they do their work with love and truly enjoy and are fulfilled by it. Thanks mainly to them, we were able to join the activities and enjoy a dream vacation. We also want to thank the rest of the team — Alex, the Belgian charmer with the best ponytail, and of course, we can’t forget Mr. JC. Plus two other lovely smiling ladies and the DJ. I would love to come back here again someday. Unfortunately, we don’t have any photos with the animators :( We didn’t spend much time on our phones during the holiday, which is probably a good thing! So at least we’re sharing some photos of this beautiful place — from stunning beach sunsets to the gorgeous pool with mountain views. May your hotel continue to thrive. Very nice location close to Heraklion. There is hop on, hop off bus for sight seeing just in front of hotel. Hotel has pool, small pool with slides, it is close to beach. Food was very good through the day, there were also snacks on top of 3 main dishes. There was great animation program even for adults including stretching, aquafitness, sports such as volleyball, water polo. You have plenty of activities during the day. All hotel employees were very helpfull, most of them spoke perfect english.

Huge resort with hotel rooms, bungalows and multiple canteens is in my opinion ideal for families with babies and small children. Yes, the rooms are a bit dated, beds are not very comfy, but hey, you won't be inside for most of the time. The beach is clean and equiped with free beach chairs for guests, beach bar is just a few steps away. Pool is also clean and big enough for multiple groups or families, so you do not have to worry about crowds. There is also a mini playground and a field for ballgames, tennis court, table tennis... The animation programme is amazing - cool and friendly people with suitable activities for all ages. Our child enjoyed miniclub and minidisco, I dare to say, that I did also. The staff everywhere is AMAZING. Reception desk, kitchen, cleaning ladies... They were very kind, friendly and did absolutely everything to make our holiday stressfree and fun. Food was good - we had excellent meals, also some average meals that did not match our tastebuds, but that happens everywhere. Coconut cake is to die for, on the other hand breakfasts were a bit boring. We did a few trips - and the stuff made sure we were well fed, they made early breakfasts and also lunchboxes for us. The care and thought put in the service is absolutely priceless. We also enjoyed the spa - I had a massage by lovely masseus Pepi. Professional, relaxing and overall great experience. To make credit to other reviewers, the all inclusive options are a bit limited, but for our experience it was more of an advantage as we do not drink and (as a family with small kid) we do not really find joyfull the company of drunken partypeople. We had 9 fantastic days in te Dessole Dolphin Bay Resort. I think the price was worth it. The animation team was excellent, the food was delicious (the snack buffet at beach taverna was the best, the children loved it). The staff was very helpful. The bungalow we got was simple, but we liked the cretan style. The cleaning service came every day and changed the towels, cleaned up the room. Every place in the hotel were very clean. We had a wonderful holiday there and definitely will go back.

The manager Pepi is over there and she do the best to have that you need treatment!!! It's so beautiful and clever nice and friendly! The Hotel she have so nice food! And so beautiful gardens with tree's flowers everywhere! We love and we come back for the spa and the hotel!!!

All in all the hotel far exceeds the sufficiency, the structure is slightly far from the pedestrian centre, but there is a bus stop a few minutes walk away with which you can reach the small center where there are various shops and bars located here and there or with plenty of half an hour by bus with more traffic to reach the center of Heracleo, in terms of services and food the hotel falls within European standards, I stayed in the structure on the second floor and I can say that the structure is functional and practical but very 70s style, it would take a nice modernization starting from the rooms which are large, bright and clean
The structure which is declared 4 stars in my opinion (I tour hotels and resorts every month) is a 3 star, boasts a large swimming pool and a small one for children next to it, furthermore to the right of its entrance it has another mini swimming pool with 2 mini slides and a small theatre, the entertainment team is committed to entertaining adults and children alike, they have an extensive weekly programme, at the end of the hotel there is also the sea, the buffet food is of good quality, some dishes are really delicious, others acceptable, only the breakfast did not satisfy me, but we Italians are known to be too demanding, the clientele I saw was German and in any case from Northern Europe, from the photos I expected more, rating 6/7 however satisfied with the stay

Just one thing that I didn't like is that if you want to take a hot shower when you get out of the pool or the sea there isn't one (you have to go up to the room) I found windy days it would have been convenient to be able to immediately take a hot shower indoors instead only outdoor showers open cold
