The only downside is that the kitchen and bar only open at 8 s if you are a morning person....coffee is difficult to acquire but this would valid for most in this region. The room has a small fridge but would be perfect if it had also a small kettle so I could make at least an instant coffee from the shop.
Tropical Hotel Restaurant helped create an unforgettable Cretan experience. From the minute I was seated at my table I was given the highest quality of food and service. The staff was not only welcoming, but also invested in satisfying the needs of each customer. Without a doubt I will return to Tropical next time I am in Crete, and will recommend them to all my friends and family.
Stayed at the hotel for 11 nights with my wife and we had a great experience! Nice, big and clean rooms, friendly owner, right next to the beach, with its restaurant at the entrance and only 12 minutes from the airport. The restaurant- by the way- is the best in the whole area! Delicious food, large portions, low prices, fantastic cocktails and very friendly staff!
Our holidays couldn’t be better! We definitely recommend it and will visit it again!

I would not go back to this place.
Nice location but it is just a 2 star hotel, the photos are misleading, you'd think it's delux.
The water and electricity went on and off few time for few hours during my stay.
One day, the room service left my door wide open.
Very bad internet in the room.
The main restaurant is indoors adjacent to the hotel, whilst the popular section is outdoors across a narrow access road, directly on the beachfront.
I ate lunch here and from the extensive menu, which contained options of salad / fish / meat / vegetarian dishes, I chose the mixed seafood salad, together with a small beer.
The staff were attentive, friendly and the service was prompt.
