The hotel rooms have no view on the sea (rooms have view on the side, mainly an unfinished building), but is located on the shore - so the access to the beach is super easy. There is no umbrella/sunbed reservation, you have to go early morning install your towels on the rented public sunbeds (or buy yourself some gear at the supermaket). The manager Manolis was available to answer our requests, although the talking style was sometimes a bit direct/dry. The room was clean and well furnished, and was cleaned daily.
The breakfast was OK, although limited in choice compared to the pictures we saw beforehand. The breakfast place on the 2nd floor has view on the sea. The manager and his wife are sitting nearby, supposedly to handle any request, but their presence can be felt as a bit insistent. Hotel access is from a pedestrian way. The public parking is about 200m away, but you can come much closer to drop your luggage.
A small familiy-owned hotel and not a fancy boutique hotel. Not bad in itself, but the interactions with the owners and the slightly-lower-than-expected experience does not make it a favorite place for us.

Had an amazing 5-nights stay at Thania. Manolis is a very welcoming and friendly host, who took care of us from the beginning to the end of our trip. The room was cleaned up every day, and it’s only 3 steps from the beach 😍 we will definitely recommend it to our family and friends and come back in the future!

Room was spacious and spotless. Delicious breakfast served upstairs every morning with one of the best panoramic views of Agia Pelagia beach. Location was superb with multiple top rated restaurants near us. We had a great time and hope we can come back here to Crete one day. Thank you Manolis and Maria!

This spacious room is spotless and has a comfy bed and a large bathroom. The beach is just 20 meters away. Manolis and Maria are wonderful hosts who are always there for you but also respect your privacy.

Manolis and Maria are exceptional hosts...always available to help and assist you...always with a warm smile one their face.
The location is superb...rooms are well equipped with everything needed...with a cosy balcony / area where one can have a nice glass of wine outside...and once out of the rooms one just needs a 1 minute walk to arrive on the beach 😀
Definitely a place to come again for a nice relaxing holiday...ideal for families with or without children alike 😀

We picked this hotel for our holiday in Crete, first if all the location is the best: in front of the sea, a few meters away from dinner locations and supermarket. The rooms must have been recently refurbished because they look so new and cosy. Very very clean, nothing was out of place. I don’t have any single complaint, I am happy, it’s perfect. Last but not least the owner is a legend, he is a total dude, ready to help, always with a big smile on his face. He is very welcoming and pleasant. I would definitely come back here. If you are booking your holidays don’t think twice, that’s the place to be.
*update* I forgot to say that Google maps on iOS was giving us some directions that were inaccurate. Basically it’s near the supermarket on the seashore.

Great place with fantastic views from the rooftop to the sea. The rooms are spotless, bright and airy, offering all the comforts. Breakfast covers all tastes, while the renovation of the building, further upgrades the place it has gained all these years in the area, in the choices of travelers. As for those in charge, words are few. Very friendly and helpful, you feel like you are a member of their family. Of course, I definitely recommend it for staying in the area.

Great place - zero line, from the room directly to the beach! Hospitable host. A place to stay was chosen in advance and were not mistaken with the choice. Nearby are many shops and cafes. Heraklion is 30 minutes by car. Around there are many different tourist places that you can visit. Great stay!

Good location - 50m to the sea. Normal, clean rooms. There is a safe and a kettle, which is very convenient in the morning. Picturesque bay. There is practically no beach: a narrow shore and immediately the sea. There is a boat rental, but not cheap from 50 euros, a lot of cafes, also not cheap from 10 euros. Side sea view, if you look from the balcony forward, then there is an incomprehensible building. In general, for its price - very good.
