The rooms are beautifully built into the side of the mountain overlooking the sea. Breakfast was served to our private villa every morning and it was lovely to eat fresh pastry and custom ordered eggs while looking across at the mountains and ocean. The staff was available at all times and booked us fun restaurant reservations as well as a catamaran trip. Fantastic!

The views were to die for. Breakfast was fantastic with wonderful service. We were able to order off a menu the night before. They drove us into the town, Akrotiri any time. Very short drive. There are about 4 restaurants, a market, a couple shops and the bus stop. Bus goes to Fira, etc for 2 euro.

From the moment we stepped on the property we were greeted with the best hospitality I’ve ever experienced. Staff was extremely helpful and caring, they took care of all our needs, were extremely friendly, and the staff really made us feel like we were family.

I booked a premium suite well in advance with hot tub and sea view but unfortunately we were given the different room and we were not notified about that, they informed us that they are giving different room when they were transferring us from airport to room in the night, we can’t deny it because it was already midnight

This hotel has good points but also has many areas which need improving. Website is not clear about the road leading to the hotel and how narrow and difficult it is with a car. Some taxi’s will not take you all the way to the hotel. The hotel has split levels with some accommodation further down the hill, which then means a steep walk up to the main hotel. The Potnia Theron suites is on the quiet end of the island. The staff is fantastic, the rooms are beautiful, and the views are amazing! Sunrises complete with roosters crowing and sunsets without all the crowds. Sure, shopping and dining are limited but within 20 minutes by car. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

We stayed 2 nights. The food was nice but it was very crowded. The rooms don’t have enough drinking water. You need to buy your water before you get to the hotel otherwise they charge you 5 euro for 1 litre of drinking water. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. It was a nice relaxing hotel.
