2 star hotels in Ermoupoli

A lovely little hotel right on the beach in a sheltered bay. The staff could not be kinder or more welcoming. We immediately felt relaxed and comfortable. The free sunbeds are a fantastic bonus. The breakfast included is good but could do with better coffee and fresh fried eggs - but everything else was wonderful. We got the bus from Ermoupouli which stops 50m from the hotel.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Family owned and run and the service was outstanding. Sofia and Alex are 2 of the people that have run this place and they are incredible. They will do anything to help you and make your stay as pleasant as possible. Food and room wete very very comfortable. A great place to stay if you want that authentic Greek experience. On the beach. Nicev beach loungers.

Fantastic location. It's one of my favourite places in all Greece! The staff was great, chill and friendly. No shower curtain, but in the context, who cares? The sea-view room was awesome. The guy kept telling me, "Relax, no problem", and I actually did end up relaxing 😅

The hotel is family own. Sofia greeted us when we arrived. She welcomed us with so much love. She treated us like family, and she always had a smile. Beach towels provide for the beach. Highly recommend if you are in Syros and looking for somewhere clean and welcoming to stay.

Just another value for money hotel in central Ermoupoli,Siros.

Clean, decent, more like a 3 star than a 2 star hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, a family run business, close to everything in Ermoupoli ( centre, bus and boat stations, amenities, facilities, cafes, restaurants)

This is my favourite budget hotel in my favourite cycladic island. The hotel stands in a quite side street above the harbor area, in the very center of Ermoupolis. From there you can explore easily the city, all the shops are around. The Aegli is a small, family run place, so don't expect luxury. The rooms are a bit on the small side, but the view.... wow. Be sure to ask for a room on the upper floor...

Location is across the street from a Blue Flag beach. As breakfast was included, I couldn't ask for more.

The negative of the hotel was the breakfast which remained the same for the 7 days we stayed and was lacking (it only had the basics: milk, cornflakes, omelettes, sausages, butter croissants, marmalades and vitamins) which due to the many people you didn't have time to get them and they took a long time to refill them, the hotel needs renovation, the rooms were old as was the furniture. We spent a night in Finikas Beach at the Olympia hotel on our way to a wedding weekend in Galissas. It is hard to say enough good things about the Olympia hotel. It is an awesome hotel in an awesome place. The staff is extremely friendly. Also, the views of Finikas Beach are breathtaking.

Stayed for two nights. Front desk was vey helpful. Had a room overlooking the harbor. Great view of the yachts coming and going in the harbor. Within steps to the center of town, multiple cafes, restaurants, and the shuttle boat launch. Breakfast hit the spot. Strong WiFi. Highly recommend this hotel to others visiting the island.

The Hermes Hotel is conveniently located on the harbourside, around 10 mins walk from the Ferry Terminal. It is also adjacent to the main shopping area with a market nearby. A truly beautiful hotel with pleasant amenities, even in the lower-priced room categories. Great breakfast and very friendly service staff. The only negative aspect we noticed was the ladies at the reception desk. They displayed a mixture of ignorance and snobbish behavior that we never experienced during our vacation in Greece. Guests seem to be viewed as extremely annoying. Too bad.

The Hermes is in a great location, just a short walk from the harbour and a great view across it if you have a sea view room. The rooms are comfy and very clean and you get a basic breakfast included which can be busy depending on the time. Best hotel in town, great value for money. Great location and obliging staff.

Excellent service, the staff are amongst the friendliest hosts I ever know and this is the reason I write this review. I was on a business trip, meaning it's not my choice to stay here yet the staff offered their best service possible. Rooms clean and all in order.

This hotel is conveniently located in down town Syros main port next to lots of shops and tavernas. It is very clean, they offer a good breakfast and they have a very nice court yard for chilling and having your breakfast. Teas only priced and friendly service

The room was very nice, the bed was hard but I like that personally. The staff were kind and friendly. The breakfast is a bit limited but nice enough. The location is great. It was a bit more expensive than I thought with a double room but overall I would recommend staying here.

A 5-Star 2-Star hotel! Family run and smack in the center of town but away from the noise at the same time. A short stroll from the many restaurants, tavernas, and shops that make Ermopoli one of my favorite authentic Greek towns.

We arrived on the late ferry planning to catch an early morning ferry on departure. Ostria was authentic, friendly and ideally situated being 100m from the ferry terminal. Elizabeth, the host could not have been more helpful. The room was large and comfortable and perfect for what we needed. We were recommended a taverna just up the road which we went to and that too provided great value for money...

Very kind owners who did their best to make our stay pleasent. Clean room in a quiet street, good air-conditioner, plenty of hot water.

Very nice and clean room. Next to KTEL. Very close to the port. 7-10 minutes walk to the center. Mrs. Jessica suggested shops to go to, churches, etc.. a small comprehensive tour of the 'good' things of the island. He also kept our luggage for us on the day of check out at the hotel so we had our day free.

This lovely little boutique hotel situated just out of town offers a quiet break. Beautiful views of the town and water from the rooftop where you can take a breakfast tray. Staff could not have been more helpful offering some wonderful restaurant suggestions

Staff were very helpful and friendly. The view from our room was lovely. So close to swimming spot-down the stairs! A nice walk into the Port area and restaurants.

The Electra hotel was a wonderful place to stay . Staff were friendly . The continental breakfast was quite extensive and fresh . The walk down the stairs to Vaporia beach was an absolute highlight of our stay in Syros. Thanks to Eleni and her staff !

A short uphill walk from the port and all the action, this is a small nice hotel and Dimitri, the part time reception was very nice and helpful. No owner to find and the breakfast (at 15 euros/p) was very poor and not worth the money. The terrace is not maned and is empty which is a shame as it would make a great place for breakfast or evening drinks. All the reports are from, at least, two years ago...
