Best Hotels in Ermoupoli

It is a gorgeous space with the best views! We can’t wait to come back! The staff was incredible and the owner, Lea, was there to welcome us and even gave us tickets to watch the opera happening that night! Great hotel!

Easy stress free entry into building and room in this perfectly situated suite. Staff was accessible and responsive to our requests including tourism sites, drivers, and access to medical care.

To begin, I seldom write a review unless my experience was horrible. Hotel Ploes will be the EXCEPTION!!!. My wife and I stayed at Hotel Ploes for 7-nights and our stay could not have been more enjoyable

This hotel is historic and beautiful. An easy walk to restaurants and shops. The staff was great.

In common with all hotels in Cyclades, any coffee was a payable extra. The hotel did not provide evening meals although with a plethora of restaurants downtown, within walking distance, there was really no need for one

The hotel is located along Kassou, in the Vaporia district, just further up from the magnificent Church of St Nicholas. It’s located in the neo-classical mansion built in 1857, so there is a bit of history there

We mainly patronised restaurants in the Kiparissou area – they served great food and were excellent value for money. For that romantic atmosphere we went to Mazi restaurant, just off the main square

We stayed in Room 2 on the ground floor, which is probably the grandest room in the hotel. It was a mezzanine arrangement, the main bedroom with a huge bed on the lower floor and two smaller beds on the upper

The Hermes Hotel is conveniently located on the harbourside, around 10 mins walk from the Ferry Terminal. It is also adjacent to the main shopping area with a market nearby. The rooms are spacious and clean

Our room was located directly above the sea, which sent a calming noise through the room, fantastic for sleeping. The breakfast was popular with hotel guests and visitors alike, with a large array of food

We loved everything about the Hermes Hotel. The location is brilliant - right on the harbour of Ermoupoli, an easy, flat 10 min walk from the ferry, and a perfect base from which to explore this beautiful town

Had a room overlooking the harbor. Great view of the yachts coming and going in the harbor. Within steps to the center of town, multiple cafes, restaurants, and the shuttle boat launch

We booked a Suite with Sea View which I think is one of the best rooms available at the hotel and it was wonderful - super-spacious, light, beautiful contemporary design with a separate sitting area, a huge bathroom (with shower and bath), and a terrace to die for

The on-site bar was also well patronised. The Hermes Hotel Syros is a great value Hotel and I would most definitely recommend it

There are two lovely outdoor terraces to have breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening with great views. It’s a short walk to Ermoupoli with lots of great shops

All the staff were so friendly and helpful and really went out of their way to do everything possible to make you happy and relaxed. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to go back

This is an incredible boutique hotel. Everything is a work of art, from the beautifully designed rooms to the stunning food and expertly crafted cocktails

It is a beautiful hotel filled with fascinating art, beautiful individually curated rooms, a lovely peaceful garden, a fun bar with delicious cocktails, and chic rooftop restaurant with a wonderful view and interesting food

The man is an alchemist! His cocktails are literally some of the best I have ever had anywhere, and he clearly loves what he does and is very happy to talk to you about it

Breakfast is really good, and the dinner menu is also great - small but everything is delicious - the rooftop is a lot of fun for drinks and dinner

we rented a bike, the rooms are 10 minutes ride from hermoupoli old town. Maria and Antonis hospitality is very warm

Very kind owners who did their best to make our stay pleasent. Clean room in a quiet street, good air-conditioner, plenty of hot water.

7-10 minutes walk to the center. Jessica suggested shops to go to, churches, etc. a small comprehensive tour of the 'good' things of the island

We were recommended a taverna just up the road which we went to and that too provided great value for money but above all amazing food and friendly people. We cannot recommend this highly enough

We arrived on the late ferry planning to catch an early morning ferry on departure. Ostria was authentic, friendly and ideally situated being 100m from the ferry terminal

Everything was unbelievable! The most awesome location in a historic building just opposite the town hall and the city square and 1 street back behind the waterfront. The staff were exceptional all so helpful

This lovely little boutique hotel situated just out of town offers a quiet break. Beautiful views of the town and water from the rooftop where you can take a breakfast tray

Hidden gem in the most beautiful part of the island - apart from the great price, I found it to be such a charming hotel, with the cleanest of rooms and the friendliest, most accommodating staff! I booked last minute - was staying in a terrible hotel prior that was more expensive and not half as nice

They allowed me to check in early and was relieved to find such a nice energy at Hotel Elektra - I will always stay here when I’m in syros 😃

This was such a good and comfy place to stay in! We were 6 girls and we got so good taken care of by the lady who works here! we all are so happy we chose this place, and we will come back!! Recommending this to everybody! The lady was so sweet and kind!

Lila picked us up from the ferry which was extremely kind. Our historic suite had views of the port, beautifully furnished, with high quality bed linen, fluffy pillows etc

A very peaceful location yet only a few minutes walk from shops, restaurants etc. The breakfast was delicious and Lila and her husband could not have been more pleasant and caring

Soundproofing is not good - we could hear the neighbours' conversations as if they were in our room

I have stayed in many hotels around the world,but this easily tops them all. Lila was exceptionally welcoming and very helpful
