There are two lovely outdoor terraces to have breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening with great views. It’s a short walk to Ermoupoli with lots of great shops

All the staff were so friendly and helpful and really went out of their way to do everything possible to make you happy and relaxed. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to go back

This is an incredible boutique hotel. Everything is a work of art, from the beautifully designed rooms to the stunning food and expertly crafted cocktails

It is a beautiful hotel filled with fascinating art, beautiful individually curated rooms, a lovely peaceful garden, a fun bar with delicious cocktails, and chic rooftop restaurant with a wonderful view and interesting food

The man is an alchemist! His cocktails are literally some of the best I have ever had anywhere, and he clearly loves what he does and is very happy to talk to you about it

Breakfast is really good, and the dinner menu is also great - small but everything is delicious - the rooftop is a lot of fun for drinks and dinner

It is a gorgeous space with the best views! We can’t wait to come back! The staff was incredible and the owner, Lea, was there to welcome us and even gave us tickets to watch the opera happening that night! Great hotel!

Easy stress free entry into building and room in this perfectly situated suite. Staff was accessible and responsive to our requests including tourism sites, drivers, and access to medical care.

The Brazzera Hotel was the best hotel we had stayed in, on our Greek travels. It is a beautiful Hotel, well maintained & run by the wonderful owners Konstantina and Harold, who were extremely accommodating to our needs

Konstantina and Harold were both very welcoming and imparted lots of general information about their island, but also other islands we could visit on future visits to Greece (Always good to know)

Breakfast was simple yet wonderful with freshly baked bread, croissants & other daily treats, very comfortable rooms with balconies with amazing views of the beach & beyond

We looked at restaurants around Ermoupolis but kept on coming back to the Hermes’ hotel restaurant. Good food at reasonable prices and loved sitting outdoors on the terrace overlooking the water

Very good location. Nice and clean hotel. The only negative for myself is that the room don't have enough space for a chair if you want to do some office work.

Breakfast was great, the fried eggs were nice and soft, plenty of other choices too. The suite we have is lovely but needs just a bit more storage for clothes; shelves or more drawers would be great

Sofia, were very helpful with good restaurant suggestions and advice on which beach to visit on windy days. 24hr manned reception made for good security

Arrived from Milos can see room from port 100 yards to the left next to petrol station Room available for us Check in very quick , staff excellent Room 27 top floor look out to port and beyond , not biggest room

A word of caution - the building does have some steep stairs (no elevator, so be aware if you are less mobile!) That aside, the site allowed easy access to amenities and public transport

My wife and I like to immerse ourselves in Greek life, and Christos and his excellent guest house helped us with restaurant recommendations and where to pick up the best coffee in town

Excellent service, conveniently located, quiet, clean, highly recommended overall. The manager was super polite and helpful, and even offered a very late checkout

Its location provides a great view over the whole city and harbour. Our room had a large patio/roof terrace with sun beds and table and chairs and was a great base to explore Syros

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights as part of a multi-island tour. This boutique hotel is located half way up the hill that Ermoupoli is partially built upon

We met our host when we arrived and she was very helpful regarding advice about the city and island. She was contactable via message if required

You couldn’t find more friendly, calm, pretty place to spend time after a busy day. It’s hard to find but it’s worth the search

We spent the evening in the balcony watching the colours change & the neighbourhood rise from its sleepy afternoon

Lila picked us up from the ferry which was extremely kind. Our historic suite had views of the port, beautifully furnished, with high quality bed linen, fluffy pillows etc

A very peaceful location yet only a few minutes walk from shops, restaurants etc. The breakfast was delicious and Lila and her husband could not have been more pleasant and caring

Soundproofing is not good - we could hear the neighbours' conversations as if they were in our room

A beautiful hotel right in the heart of the city yet very quiet and well maintained. Staff was lovely and breakfast was wonderful

The rooms are luxury with comfortable bed and pillows, luxury linens, towels and bathroom products. The location is ideal for exploring Ermoupoli and the island. We are in our 70's and walked all over town

We took a taxi to the top of Ano Syros and walked back to the harbor, stopping at a taverna recommended by Nikos. He arranged a taxi for a dinner in Kini and helped us understand the bus schedule for a day in Finika

Truly a luxury to stay at Shapes. Nikos and Hara are amazing hosts and concierges. The suite we had was large and well appointed. The bed, pillows and linens were top quality. The bathroom is very well designed
