Beautiful hotel in a very convenient location, close to all the shops and restaurants in Ermoupoli. Staff is very attentive and kind. Rooms are large and beautifully decorated. One big complaint is the street noise, if you leave your windows open, which is very tempting to do on this beautiful island. A smaller complaint: lack of coffee machines or kettles in the room.

We found the location of the hotel superb. Right in front of the sea, well situated in Ermoupoli. We however found the breakfast offered very disappointing. The upper terrace was lovely but both the service and food offered was subpar. When food is so superb on this island there is no excuse for the terrible, stingy set breakfast they provided. Very polite stuff and great location but the room without sea view was not what we expected (small, no place to dry out, beach towels, no sufficient light or sun) . The breakfast was served in a roof garden with a nice view but no variety and just the basic menu with occasional menu shortages. In general it did not deserve the cost for a 4 star hotel!

Old fashioned hotel, but very good with all the modern amenities. I appreciate the fact that they were able to maintain the look for a very long time. The owner and the staff are very polite. Would recommend and would definitely come back.

A comfortable guest house right next to the Ermopouli Opera House and therefore right in the middle of the town. Couldn't recommend staying here enough. Great location and our host Christos was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was freshly made and brought up every morning which was a bonus.

We were not able to stay in this beautiful hotel because of a a/c issue. Chris was more than helpful and gave us a choice of staying and let us see the room. He even coordinated our transfer to a hotel nearby. But, the rooms are beautiful, the location is awesome and Chris was more than accommodating in his help and knowledge of the area. We will be back and we will contact him again!

This was such a good and comfy place to stay in! We were 6 girls and we got so good taken care of by the lady who works here! we all are so happy we chose this place, and we will come back!! Recommending this to everybody! The lady was so sweet and kind!

Absolutely wonderful. Lila picked us up from the ferry which was extremely kind. Our historic suite had views of the port, beautifully furnished, with high quality bed linen, fluffy pillows etc. A very peaceful location yet only a few minutes walk from shops, restaurants etc. The breakfast was delicious and Lila and her husband could not have been more pleasant and caring. We highly recommend.

Nothing compares to you. Can't express it more precisely. Lilas Guesthouse is the perfect place to stay in Syros. Spacy rooms, great staff, a rarely harmonious atmosphere combined with unforgettable personal kindness, hospitality, care and service from Lila, her husband and everyone else.

This was a lovely room. Decorated with taste. I really liked the location. Close to bus terminus, right infront of the port, cose to the shops. Breakfast was really good. The owners were so nice. They gave us the names of different restaurants in the area. They also gave us maps of the area. I would return here.

Our ferry was cancelled and the owner went out of his way to help us. Of all the properties we have visited in Greece this is our favourite. Thank you

A wonderful little hotel with really kind and helpful owners. Only drawback is that it faces the Main Street to the port so there’s some exhaust fumes when the doors and windows are open. Really comfortable space.
