Calypso Beach in Faliraki

Me and my mum cometo rhodes every year and we always stay at the calypso beach hotel. We have stayed at other hotels down the road but this one is the best out of all of them. The hotel is amazing. The facilities are good. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are friendly and you can have a laugh with them. Its a shame some of the bar staff have left the hotel due to retirement and I wish them well. Nikos at the restaurant is a lovely guy and carry on the good work. Reception staff and friendly and helpful. I wish pantellis ( H ) well, I will never forget you huggybear, a very nice guy he was and we had a laugh and he always came over and spoke to me. I miss him a lot Im giving a shout out to the bar man that works behind the bar of the snack bar of an evening (cant remember his name ) what a kind and lovely guy he is and very hardworking, when I come back in september of next yr, you can do me a lovely cheese and ham toastie because they are tasty. Lovely hotel, very clean. Deluxe room was lovely, however the toilet and shower area are not seperated by a door, but open to the room with a wall to seperate. The wall has a 10 inch gap from the sink up, so if you walk out of the shower without a towel anyone
your sharing with will get more than they bargained for. Free kini bar in your room topped up daily inc bottles of water. Beds v comfy and nice pillows. Robe and slippers to. Food was good with 1 al la carte meal inc. Buffet food was good unless you are very fussy. Grounds are really nice with lots of pool areas to use with a slide. Beach access is lovely with a sandy beach but lots of pebbles when you enter the water.
Bus stop is right outside hotel to Rhodes town €2.50 per person.
Entertainment wasnt great and as you are out of the centre of faliraki thats all you have.
We would return to this area but maybe to a hotel a bit closer to the shops and centre of faliraki for things to do in the evening.

Great hotel in a prime location.
The entire hotel staff consists of Greeks who hold the most responsible positions in the hotel in all departments of the hotel, but also those who speak more foreign languages.
The teams of employees are enriched with people from other countries who also know at least one foreign language and work together as a team in complete harmony.
Regarding the building and the rooms, I believe that they should be renovated.
It certainly plays an important role if this hotel wants to change its general perception and transform from an all-inclusive hotel into a higher quality hotel.
In my opinion, this would be the best, as this hotel is in an advantageous location..
I stayed on the 1st floor with a mountain view and I didn't like it!!!
On the lower floor, masonry materials had fallen but were not collected.
The pools need renovation.
It is unacceptable that the trolleys for changing towels and sheets remain permanently on the floor.
The image is not good!!!
The bathrobes are worn out!!!
Better get rid of them!!!
The main restaurant is huge and well designed both externally and internally.
Unfortunately, however, in the morning and at noon, its shading is amateurish!!!!
The property should invest in either electric pliss or external shading blinds.
This way it will also save energy!!

beautiful modern facilities located at A central Rhodes location. Access to public transportation or sea transport to get you and your family to most of the island's attractions.

Just got back from two cracking weeks at Calypso Beach Hotel in Faliraki, and honestly, we didn’t want to leave. The food was spot-on – loads of choice, always fresh, and not a single dodgy meal the whole time (which is saying something after two weeks of all-inclusive!). This is our 12th year staying here. Overall vibe is very German orientated but this should not put you off! The staff are absolute legends – always cheerful, super helpful, and genuinely make you feel like part of the family. Big shout-out to the bar and restaurant teams – you kept us fed, watered, and laughing every day. The beach is gorgeous, literally steps away from the pool – soft sand, clear water, and enough loungers that you don’t have to do the 6 a.m. towel dash. Rooms were spotless, beds comfy, and the air-con a life saver. The whole place just has a proper feel-good vibe. Couldn’t have asked for a better break – great food, great people, great beach. We’ll 100% be back for round two next year! ☀️

Warm welcoming philoxenia, all the staff are amazing and should be commended. The atmosphere was so relaxed and peaceful. The food was exceptional and staff were always on hand to see if you needed anything extra. The rooms were clean and immaculate, as was the hotel in general. While there I visited the on site hairdressers and Nicolas did a wonderful job, everyone complimented me afterwards. I also visited the on site spa to have a massage for the first time. Everyone there was extremely professional, polite and courteous. Credit to Alexandria who carried out my massage, it was so relaxing I almost fell asleep, Alexandria also gave me great advice regarding an old injury to my shoulders. My only complaint is that I can't stay longer and have to return home for work. Roll on next holiday season!

Excellent all around. We’ve just come to the end of our holiday at this resort and we were very impressed. The entire resort including outdoor pool areas and beach are immaculately clean, staff constantly clearing tables and cleaners regularly visible cleaning floors and surfaces. Rooms cleaned once daily as well as bed sheets and towels if desired. Food was very good - the restaurant staff were excellent and worked hard to ensure everyone had a positive experience, quickly turning around tables and bringing drinks. Breakfast had a range of pastries, meats, cheeses, fruits and bread as well as the usual sausage, bacon, beans etc. Lunch was varied each day in the snack bar and consistently had gyros (amazing!), pasta, salad etc alongside the variation that day. The snack bar is open throughout most of the afternoon/evening and also has desserts and ice cream available. Dinner was again varied, often with a theme of a certain cuisine such as Italian, seafood, Asian and a nice variety of puddings. Entertainment - the entertainment team were fantastic all around. The clientele are primarily German meaning most of the entertainment is targeted towards them, but the animation team made a constant effort to ensure it was engaging to all nationalities and languages where possible. Roughly every other day the evening entertainment would be a professional group such as dancers, acrobats, or a band from all around the world. Throughout the day there were games, fitness classes and aquazumba organised by the entertainment team who were working hard, conversing with guests and inviting people to join in with activities. Special shout out to Nicolo - he was absolutely brilliant, friendly and funny. Despite our reluctance to take part in most activities he managed to get us playing darts and persuaded us to get up and dance with a few other guests… even if he couldn’t understand a word I was saying most of the time in my strong North-East English accent :D Overall a great visit, would definitely recommend to others and will likely return. Good hotel with great service and kindful staff, good bar and attractions.

Pros: Room Was newly renovated has a balcony with seaview Comfortable beds with sofa. Minibar is always refilled everyday. Linens are clean and soft. TV was huge. Has a great waterpressure in bathroom Facilities Has basic facilities such as gym,snackbar,poolbar etc.. Beach/Pools Beach is always clean has enough sunbeds fir guest Cons: Room The lights in the toilet are not separated from the room but not a big deal. Foods: A little bit disappointed because i was expecting for more seafood dishes but only one dish evey linch or dinner. No grill seafoods. Bars The bartender alwaya give you less ice..but you can alway request for more Overall a good budget friendly hotel..
