We just returned from a 3 day stay at this property. The food was excellent, staff very friendly, pool and beach area very clean. We had a family room with 2 full-size bathrooms, very comfortable. My only complaint is the downstairs shower didn’t get hot water. Other than that, we had a wonderful time and would definitely return.

Really nice hotel which was let down by management deciding to start shutting down the resort for the end of season half way through our stay. Two of the three non-buffet restraints had closed 3 days before our departure . Spin and other classes finished 4 days before our departure.

Next time I go, I think I'll plan to stay a little longer. It was so comfortable and nice that I almost regretted my short stay. The pool was much longer and larger than it appears in the photos, and I was impressed by the design, which allowed everyone in the room to enjoy the pool close to home.

Lovely hotel, staff and service were incredible. Great amenities and amazing to be right on beach. Bus stop right outside made it very easy to get to other spots on the island without a car. Buffet dinner quite expensive at €40 a head if not half board but good variety of options and food nice.

This is our second visit to The Elysium, and we weren't disappointed again! Besides the excellent food, facilities & proximity to the lovely beach, this hotel has to be recommended for it's customer support & service. All the staff are so helpful in the well organised dining areas, thank you to all the staff ( and especially Mannolis & Michael) in the bars and grounds. Nothing is too much trouble....

We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 days at ER&S. We were B&B, breakfast choices were superb and we purposely requested to be served in Mariela's section; a polite, welcoming, friedly young woman who the hotel would do well to promote to 'Customer Service Training Manager!' Beautiful pools with an abundance of loungers and umbrellas. We would happily return.

We had an amazing stay. Everything was great - the staff were very friendly, the room and hotel was super clean, and the food was tasty as well. We can't complain and will return.

I had a wonderful time at the hotel! I loved the spa, the pool and had the best night sleeps! It is a shame that the main restaurant does not serve a real espresso from ground coffee beans as it would have been nice to enjoy a good cup of coffee with the wonderful breakfast, but despite this, I will happily return to the hotel

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The property was well maintained and beautiful. The staff from housekeeping, bar, concierge, wait staff to front desk were fantastic. They all went out of their way to make you feel welcomed and valued. Thank you all for an enjoyable time.

Great hotel Great hotel with many facilities. Lots of pools, nice spa, great gym and nice grounds. The restaurants are good and many options. Unfortunately they don’t label the foods in the buffet well. This makes it hard for vegans, people with allergies etc, I am sure they could do a little better on this!

We have just spent a week at the hotel, but did not think it lived up to the 5 stars they have. Large resort hotel in Platanias village right next to the beach. The hotel is spread over a huge area, with many room types to choose from in several buildings. There are several smaller and larger pools between the buildings, which are not heated. We were moved from the village resort to the beach resort due to being under subscribed at the end of the season. We were worried as we booked there for the water park but on jet 2 looking into it they were keeping the park open with the rest of the resort shutting. We came back for a second year with our 2 boys and loved our stay yet again. We were given a free upgrade to a superior family mezzanine room which was a fab start to the stay. Our balconies overlooked the harbour, our favourite pool and the mountains behind. We travel from marmaris to Rhodes for day trip on ferry when we got in to port you will guys offering taxi service to take you round on some of the best spot and show you historical places but that's scam you can walk from bay to town centre in ten minutes walk around some nice places for food and drinks you can look around yourself rather pay 70 euro one of them ask 95 euro avoid these people

Amazing family friendly hotel in a beautiful area. Great beach, pools, amazing food, nice coctails, and very friendly staff members. We stayed in a family suite with private pool and it was worth it. We definetely want to come back one day. The only thing that needs improvement is the lift leading to suites which did not work properly throughout our stay.
