The family-run hotel with cozy green area. Will appeal to fans of evening walks along the promenade. A varied diet based on the program "all inclusive", a daily evening show program at the international languages. The complex is conveniently located near the resort towns of Hersonissos and Malia with many taverns, bars and souvenir shops. Recommend for families with children of all ages.

Location: 30 km East of Heraklion airport, within 100 m from the village of Stalida, between Hersonissos and Malia. Opposite the hotel there is a bus stop to Heraklion and Agios Nikolaos. From the beach the hotel is not active roadway.

Consists of several buildings of different heights, Bungalow and separate annexe building.

Just got bk frm staying at the blue sea beach hotel with our friends .Fantastic holiday frm start to finish. The staff were Amazing couldn't do enough for you .They were all so friendly and made our stay so enjoyable . Wacko the entertainment Guy(Crete David ) was our knick name for him worked so hard keeping everyone entertained day and night with different activities.He was so funny along with the bar staff who joined in with us . Anyone visiting this hotel will not be disappointed .Food good location excellent,Cocktails /drinks really good. Hopefully will be returning in a couple of yrs .

We stayed at this hotel for the second year in a row. Great good hotel! Very varied food. Clean and quiet hotel, comfortable beds. There are many restaurants and souvenir shops near the hotel. Thanks to Μαρία Κευγά for the good service and Nadia for the help. Thank you to the entire hotel for a great vacation! We really like Crete!

Such a wonderful hotel!! Loved the amazing food choices, grounds, drinks and very friendly staff. Just across a small road from a fab private beach area. Guaco the entertainment guy was brilliant fun with great music quiz nights and karaoke!! All hotel staff were very friendly. Mark Hawkins.

Just come back from 10 days staying here, lovely hotel brilliantly placed facing sea, the food was amazing and catered to all countries, while we was there it was mainly Germans and Latvians but we didn’t have any issues about it, everyone was friendly enough. Some rooms have pools that you pay extra for but please be aware if you pay for 1 the hotel should be opposite way round because the sun hits the door going into the room and doesn’t really hit the pools to warm them enough to use. When i booked this hotel it was because weve never been to Crete but id heard of Stalis so decided to try it and wasn’t disappointed, the only thing i would say is before you book check if your actually in hotel grounds or in the annexe, because if your in the annexe its about 100 yards up the road from the main hotel. The rooms in the annexe are nice and very clean but small, we had 2 single beds pushed together with the bathroom at side of bed, and you need to keep door shut because every so often the drain in the bathroom reek. There is a walk in shower but the shower glass is very close to the toilet and i did bump my head a few times when i sat on loo. You can hear people upstairs moving or talking or the maid cleaning the rooms and moving furniture. The maids are very friendly and Eva who works on the snack bar is a asset to the hotel, hard working and very chatty. The bar staff work tirelessly and always have a smile even when you can see there stressing. It was my birthday while away and the hotel brought a cake to our room while was a lovely touch. We went to Ammas bar and had to lovely meal.

I stayed at Blue Sea Beach with my (new!) fiancé. He proposed to me on the beach with the help of hotel manager Yiannis, who was extremely helpful and kind throughout our stay. Every aspect of our holiday was 5 star, the service from each member of staff was impeccable, our room was modern, spacious and clean, and the food was varied and delicious. A truly lovely place, full of wonderful people.

Firstly myself and my husband went here for our honeymoon Just returned last night!! Couldn’t fault the hotel at all, staff soo friendly, welcoming, nothing is ever too much trouble. The location was fab, loved waking up every morning watching the sunrise and listing to the waves. Staff member Stella (lady) she is such a lovely member of staff, thank you for being you. A la carte restaurant is nice, makes you feel you’re away from the hotel if you want to get a small break away from the main restaurant…. Plenty of choice, well I thought soo. Main restaurant is good, not too much choice but each to their own… Entertainment was good the first night when we arrived late, few nights I enjoyed my kind of thing whereas other not, but you can always go into Stalis or make your entertainment. We stayed in an annexe building ( alil away from the hotel) which is fine, only slight disadvantage was having to walking to the main hotel for the facilities( didn’t spoil our holiday tho) Would definitely return again

Fabulous holiday for our 10 year wedding anniversary. Special mention to MARIA K. An all round amazing person and server, she made us feel like old friends rather than new holiday makers. She remembered our ordered from our breakfast order to the drinks we ordered from the bars. Thankyou for making it special for us! Special mention to the staff who despite us being delayed and arriving at gone 1 am, they had lemon juice, and cool towels ready for us. They also had decorated our room, got a cake for us, champagne, and some snacks! Amazing and will definitely be back!

Just returned from Blue Sea in Stalis and will definitely return. What makes this hotel is the staff. Genuinely attentive and friendly. Special shout outs to George and both Marias plus the guy at the pol bar. Food is great and always a great choice in the buffet restaurant. Shout out to Lori who makes the best breakfast omelettes! Billed as 5 star but the rooms possibly need a facelift to achieve 5 stars in truth. The bar area is exceptional though. BBQ night is a must Finally the 3 guys who bill themselves as ‘the drifters’ were exceptional

We have just returned from an amazing stay at this hotel, from start to finish all staff were exceptional. On arrival we were greeted at reception with a cold drink and a staff member brought our luggage to our room where there were some tortilla wraps, a bottle of wine and a bottle of water for us which was really nice as we arrived late at night. The food in the buffet restaurant was delicious, fresh and very varied so there was always something new to try. The A La Carte restaurant had excellent food and service too, and also recommend the snack bar by the pool. The pool bar and main bar had quick service, and staff remembered what drinks you'd ordered previously! There were various exercise programmes in the day e.g. yoga, pilates, zumba, aqua fit, and something different every night for the evening entertainment. The evening entertainment is on a weekly rotating basis so if you are there for longer than a week you will see the same thing twice, this is the only drawback I can mention. Rooms were cleaned every day and were spotless. The hotel grounds are beautiful, well maintained and include lemon trees and grape vines. The pools are well maintained and lovely, especially the main pool with a beautiful sea view. The beach is literally just across the road with free sunbeds. On the last day we were given a free upgrade to a swim up room which was amazing and a once in a lifetime experience. This has been the best hotel I have ever stayed in, I haven't bothered writing a TripAdvisor review before but just wanted to thank the staff for an excellent experience and a fantastic stay.

We are leaving Blue Sea Hotel tomorrow and have had the most wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with fresh lemonade and smiles from the steward, who kindly carried our bags to our room. When we decided to upgrade, Nadia and the hotel manager went above and beyond to help us. They showed us around our stunning new room with a private pool—it was absolutely gorgeous! The à la carte restaurant is divine, with service that’s truly immaculate. The lovely woman who seated us (I wish I remembered her name!) was amazing—so knowledgeable and impressively multilingual. A special shout-out to Eleni at the hotel bar—the best barmaid in the world! She was so helpful, kind, and her cocktails are hands down the best I’ve ever tasted. Thank you so much, Blue Sea Hotel, for making our stay unforgettable. We can’t wait to be back!
