Olympic Palace Hotel in Ixia

I went for a SPA experience to this hotel and I would highly recommend it. It’s very clean, they provide slippers, gowns, soft drinks for refreshments. I have had 2 treatments booked with Dimitra. She was very professional and gentle. Very pleased with the service.

We had a great stay at the Olympic Palace and couldn't have been looked after better. The staff are absolutely fantastic and so helpful with every request. The housekeeping team do a great job at keeping the place spotless and the grounds and pools are beautifully kept too. This was my first time staying somewhere on an all inclusive basis and I was really pleasantly surprised. I mostly ate the more traditional Greek and other Mediterranean food: salads, souvlaki, grilled fish, seafood, rice, yoghurt, fruit etc. And the offer at every meal was so good here. There was a fantastic selection at the buffet and I wish I could have eaten more. The salad bar was always phenomenal and so were the desserts. The bog standard "British" foods didn't looks so appetising - but then again, why come to Greece if that's what you want to eat?! We especially enjoyed lunch and late breakfast in the poolside restaurant; being able to sit outside was much nicer than being in the main dining room (which was fine, but being outside is better!). We didn't experience any queues for food either, but did see some for people eating breakfast quite late in the morning. The only challenge we had in the buffet in the evening was waiting a long time for drinks - which was a little annoying - but otherwise it was great. The staff do a wonderful job at keeping people happy and getting huge numbers of people through. My only comment would be it'd be nice to be able to eat a little later in the evening as the restaurant only operates til 21.30. The drinks available in the all inclusive package are pretty standard from what I understand of all inclusive generally: they were nothing exceptional but all of them were perfectly acceptable. It was nice that cocktails were available in the package in both the champagne bar and the rooftop bar. The latter of these is especially lovely in the early evening. I was very pleased with our room, which was comfortable and very clean with a large balcony. We were upgraded from a mountain view room to a pool/sea view room, which was a nice touch. However I didn't spend a lot of time in the room so it didn't make a huge difference; it just meant we had the option to sunbathe in privacy. The aircon in the room was a bit ineffectual but that may well have been because the system isn't in full swing in late April. Either way, the sea breeze meant it simply wasn't needed other than on one slightly airless night. The blackout curtains were excellent too and the bed so comfortable. Coming early in the season I expected the unheated pool to be chilly - and it was! Great for swimming lengths. However, there are two heated pools which were very warm so something for everyone. I didn't struggle to get a sun lounger but it was busy for late April - so I suspect in July and August it could be a challenge. The pool area is lovely: spotless and a total sun trap. The poolside restaurant and the swim-up bar mean it's easy to get drinks and snacks whenever yo

We chose to stay here at the Olympic Palace to celebrate a big birthday. We are a family of 5 and did come with high expectations as we stayed here a few years ago in 2023 and it was beautiful. We did make an error this time by choosing a “Mountain View” room as it was not what I was expecting and the sea view rooms are much brighter. However, the staff have gone above and beyond to make our stay extra special and we could not thank them all enough. (We will be returning and booking sea view next time - little tip!) The rooms are immaculate as are all parts of the hotel. The grounds are beautiful, plenty of places to relax and unwind. The facilities, toilets, showers, baby change are very impressive and there is wonderful spa! The whole team throughout the hotel have been outstanding. From the management and reception ladies, the pool bar staff, the gentleman at the towel desk, the lifeguard, and everyone at the Aquamarine lunchtime restaurant — all have been so helpful, pleasant, and always go the extra mile. They work incredibly hard and deserve so much credit for how smoothly and wonderfully the hotel is ran. There is a great atmosphere throughout the hotel, with entertainment for all ages. Even our 3 year old has been enjoying the evening entertainment in the rooftop bar. Everyone has had a fantastic time. The hotel and grounds are pristine, and the staff work tirelessly to keep it that way. Highly recommend, and we cannot wait to come back again. (As you can see from the photos, we upgraded one room to a Junior Suite as a birthday surprise, and I cannot thank the reception management team enough for making it happen.)

We have been in the Olympic Palace last week and it was awesome! The hotel is extremely clean and the large outdoor area is perfectly maintained. There is a wide selection of food in the various restaurants at the hotel. The food is of excellent quality. I particularly enjoyed the Greek Corner by the pool. In the main restaurant you can also get omelets prepared according to individual wishes. For 20 euros per person you can book the wellness area, which I highly recommend as it is also exceptionally beautiful and modern. My wife booked a pregnancy massage which totally relaxed her and led to pain relief. At the pool area, the animation team with Luca and Kris ensures a good mood and atmosphere. They also offer activities such as table tennis, football, and volleyball, and provide entertainment for young children. They even organized a padel tennis match with guests outside of their regular activities. It was absolutely amazing! I can absolutely recommend this hotel and the whole service experience. We would love to come back to this place.

Our experience at this hotel was excellent from start to finish. The room was large and airy, with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and offering a beautiful sea view. The facilities throughout the hotel were impressive, and the staff were consistently attentive—nothing was ever too much trouble. The food options were varied at every meal, so there was always something new to try. The location was perfect as well, with plenty of bars, shops, and supermarkets just a short walk away. Travelling to the old town was simple, with regular buses that were quick and inexpensive. Evenings were enjoyable thanks to the rooftop bar entertainment, which changed nightly and created a great atmosphere. The private beach directly opposite the hotel was a real bonus—peaceful, clean, and absolutely picturesque. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return in the future.

We stayed at this hotel in September 2025 The hotel was out of this world from extremely friendly staff to amazing food and drinks. We booked a Mountain View room which was in hindsight a mistake as although the room was clean fresh and comfortable the mountain was very close to our balcony which I knew that we had selected a Mountain View room we did however request a move to a Mountain View room that was a little further away from the actual mountain and the guest relocations manager( who was very approachable)within 24 hours gave us the choice to change rooms first one was actually bigger than the original room but we chose the second option of the room in the middle so that the mountain was a lot further away. The food was very good with multiple choices and always something that anyone could choose no matter what they would normally eat breakfast so much choice lunch and dinner excellent including the ala cart restaurants really excellent food and very good quality wine and drinks. You also have the option of eating lunch in one of the five other restaurants around the pool areas , lots of options for different types of food, Always a chef serving lamb salmon beef pork and fish each night something different every night always a good few choices of traditional Greek dishes cooked to perfection. Entertainment was excellent and the roof top bar area always popular champagne bar very good and in the evening watch the sun set from various locations in the hotel really nice to enjoy a cocktail while watching the sunset, great choice of alcohol free cocktails as well as the alcohol ones , the pools are great and sometimes on a Tuesday morning there is a display of animated characters that walk around the pools engaging with the children. There is a good children’s pool and club with lots of various activities. The middle pool is heated and has swim up to the bar option. Pool times 10am until 6pm this seemed to be an issue with some people but I think it’s a good time to have the pools open and didn’t want to be in a swimming pool after 6pm . The crazy golf course is a must do activity one of the best we have come across. Small charge of 7 euros each which I think is reasonable. The hotel does provide water in your room every day and the rooms are cleaned to a high standard every day all of the staff are very friendly and can’t do enough to make sure you have a great holiday. In the evening at peak periods you will have to Que and be seated at a table by the door manager who in a regimental manner directs the guests to various locations in the restaurant making sure each area has the correct number of dinners so that the waiting staff can serve you drinks in a timely manner and constantly prepare new tables for the guests. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone so much so we have booked a fortnight at this hotel on the 30 of September and this time in a sea view room when the weather will be just how we like it not to hot .

I cannot state how good our holiday with you was. Your staff were lovely, the cleaners were quick and always happy. The restaurant staff were brilliant in all restaurants, my favourite was the aquamarine and Greek for lunch. The animation team were always on hand and welcoming. My only gripe would be I would have liked one more evening to book the Italian as you can only have two bookings for a two week stay. Would recommend your hotel to everyone. Will definately come back to Rhodes. Thank you again.
