Traveling from London with a 19-hour layover in Athens, I arrived at the hotel around 9 PM and had a flight to Shanghai the next day at 1 PM. I chose this hotel primarily for its excellent location, being very close to the Acropolis and within walking distance. Though a renovated old building, the hotel's interior is superb, with every corner thoughtfully designed. The small balcony is a lovely spot for friends to relax and chat. I concur, Bratsera is one of the best, cosiest, and most tasteful hotels in Hydra. It's not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for

The location was great as it was on the edge of the Ancient City of Athens. There is only a small reception area with no communal facilities but the room was huge and contained a small kitchenette, however we ate out both nights.
