Good hotel for families with kids. It's a bit less than half an hour's walk to Syntagma Square, but it doesn't feel like a long trek.
Novotel usually offers good value for money, which is why I often choose this chain when I travel to different European countries.

+ Get ready to welcome not such a presentable district of Athens as you can expect. It’s not like Sintagma where all fashionable hotels and restaurants are located. Anyway the hotel is literally close to the railway station and a few metro stations. Also u can just walk 10 mins and reach National Archeological Museum (never miss it cuz u’ll find there lots of things to explore about Ancient Greece).- -

Came to Athens for the first time from Canada and was a bit shocked at the experience I had here. They had a lovely breakfast and good customer service at the front desk which made my stay a bit better, but unfortunately i would give it a 3 stars as the cleaners had stolen a bunch of my personal items. I remember vividly leaving my bracelets and fleece sweater after check out, went back about an hour later to find out it's gone and the cleaners had not seen anything. The staff was helpful but hahng this experience with the cleaners and my personal belongings was a bit disappointing.

Breakfast was not bad …. Rooms were clean and pretty comfortable. Funny they provide drinking water as welcome drink and not on daily basis whereas they will replenish the mini bar daily for free. Location wise, not a great place but it is ok if you take Uber all the times.

Hotel is well located close to all major attractions in Athens. Lovely breakfast in morning and staff are welcoming and attentive.
Unfortunately there is sewerage smell as soon as you come out of lifts and it’s present in some rooms as well.

A beautiful hotel a little tiny bit off the beaten path, but close enough to walk everywhere. And the views were spectacular. Make sure you spend time on the roof deck. It is gorgeous and the pool was just what I needed after a long day of traveling.

We had a great stay here. The staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful.
The hotel is clean, modern, with a great rooftop restaurant and pool with great views of the Acropolis, especially when lit up at night.
The buffet breakfast is good value with a great selection to choose from, although I found the hot food cold, I still ate it as I'm not fussy but the wife didn't.
The room service food was awesome and big portions.
The fridge in our room stopped working and they fixed it straight away 👍.
The surrounding area was a bit rough compared to what I would normally book but it was convenient for the metro lines (10-minute walk). There's a nice Cafe next door if you fancy a change for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and also a good freshly made pizza takeaway shop across the road.
I would recommend this hotel 🏨 if you don't mind the surrounding area. Although I found the whole of Athens apart from the obvious tourist attractions to be rough with run-down buildings and graffiti everywhere.
