This truly is a wonderful place. Beautifully and creatively decorated, a treat to all senses. From how everything looks together, to the smells, to sounds and the presence of the place. Great location and excellent and kind people who work there. I would definitely go back.

A beautiful, thoughtful art boutique hotel experience. We loved finding all of the unique touches in our room. Loved the bathtub, rain shower, outdoor patio and rooftop breakfast. Or meals were filling and delicious. The team was excellent and on top of arranging transportation to the port and airport. We make it a point to stay in art hotels and Shila was top tier.

I could not recommend this thoughtful sanctuary of a stay more. The staff, the attention to detail, the roof top terrace, the design, bedding, breakfast, curated room, down to its smell and even its toilet chain. This place was created with the purest intent and you feel it in every detail. Our most treasured travel stay to date. On a very quiet street meaning a silent sleep and a quick 20–30 minute walk from all good things.

The most beautifully styled property, perhaps I have ever stayed. You feel as if you are a guest in a designer home and are immediately comfortable. Every attention to detail has been considered. Breakfast was fantastic. I will definitely return!

Shila was a wonderful experience. From the moment you enter the foyer you are transported to 1920s Athens. Carefully curated design is everywhere. It is unique, stylish, fresh and comfortable. We stayed in the lovely Artist Atelier room.
