We were a school tour from Ireland - 38 students and 3 staff. We had booked through an agency and when I saw all the bad reviews, I was extremely anxious. I made a big fuss about it and insisted that I would be inspecting rooms on arrival and if we encountered any bed bugs, we would be switching hotels. I am glad I did this because some of the mattresses looked new and some of the rooms had a strong smell of chemicals. We were in rooms 110-118 and 210-218 and did not encounter any bed bugs over our 4 night stay.
The staff were brilliant. The waitresses at breakfast and the waiter at dinner were always friendly and chatty. The food was a highlight and genuinely delicious. The receptionist was also fabulous and really helped one day when one of our students lost their phone - she went upstairs and checked the rooms and was able to confirm that the phone was in the hotel and not lost during our bus trip, Acropolis visit etc.
The location may not be great but we wouldn't be letting students wander around in the evenings anyway.
Overall, the hotel completely exceeded our expectations. Thank you
The rooms very quite nice, decently clean (aside from 3 bed buge that my friend saw) and they were stocked up with a good amount of supplies!
The food was delicious, they had cereal despensers which was very peak and cinematography.
However my friends (who are NOT unpredictable) were almost attacked by a junkie because one of them made eye contact and fell in hate at first sight. They are okay and alive
The service was helpful for when we got locked out of the room. Overall this was a decent experience but you could do so much better. Anything worse than this is unlivable and anything better is top tier. My friends disagree with me but honesty is policy. Have a good day :)
