The Alassia Hotel in Athens

Modern hotel near the city center. Great to sleep over. Breakfast was average good. The street where the hotel is located is rather lower end with homeless, but there were no any issues. Hotel service was very friendly.

Clean facilities, decent breakfast menu, and a great location next to the bustling downtown area. I'm satisfied.

It's a bit noisy and dirty outside the window as described, but it's not noticeable when the window is closed. The amenity shampoo smelled really good.

Newly renovated hotel. Everything was very clean and the staff were awesome. From the front desk, breakfast attendants and housekeeping, everyone was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was bountiful, with a wide variety of options to choose from.
Our room was comfortable and clean, though it did get a bit warm. We ended up opening the window and fortunately it was not noisy, but a few mosquitoes did get in. It seems the air conditioning may be turned off during the winter months.
The hotel is located in a more grungy part of Athens but we never felt unsafe. It’s right by Ominia square which has many restaurants and bakeries. It’s near the metro station, making travel to the airport so easy. It’s also only a 10-15 minute walk to Monastiraki and Syntagma Square. Overall, a very good stay with excellent service and a convenient location! We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel staff were truly kind and wonderful. You can tell the hotel was recently renovated because everything looks new. The rooms are nicely designed and clean. The value for the price is excellent.

The hotel is completely refurbished and everything is brand new. Rooms are designed well and spacious, our terrace was huge!
The area is a bit sketchy, but the hotel is 5 mins from the main center and 15-20 from the Acropolis.
Price was also really good for the value, would definitely recommend!

Driving near the hotel you think OMG what did we do. Then you walk inside and say what a nice hotel. Bed was very comfortable, room very clean. Breakfast was great!
A bit scetchy outside for a few blocks, but as always, we aware of your surroundings.

The guest rooms were not very large and the cleanliness was average, but the breakfast was good.

Honestly, this is a very nice hotel post-renovation, and a great deal as far as value for money goes. The staff were all incredibly nice and went above and beyond to help make my stay comfortable and the room was impeccable. My only complaint is that there is some noise from the streets that comes in even when the windows are closed, but really this was quite minor considering all of the other advantages of the hotel.
