Apart of very nice staff, who were really trying their best and a big room terrace, the place really needs improving. Definitely not 4 stars. Pool was lost and forgotten, breakfast ran out of glasses and spoons, staff was running around trying to provide guests with single use paper glasses. Food choise was rather poor. Rooms tiny and outdated. We had a knocking on the door at 9pm , it was tv guys asking if they can check the tv signal, coz next rooms were complaining about not having it. Table on the terrace was on a verge of collapse, but surprisingly the jacuzzi bath worked:) very little space in the room and no sockets for a family of four to charge their phones. And finally - bed bugs. We spent two days and were bitten from head to toes. The hotel management must do something about this issue. I noticed others here saying the same, but choose to ignore, coz we have had experiences with other Art Hotels n Europe and all was ok.

Nice staff, but rooms are Far too old. Not fit for human habitation. A shoddy bathroom door and drainage system that floods the floor outside the bathroom after just a few minutes' shower.

Got woken up multiple times in the middle of the night

A bunch of people arrived late at night, and started playing the piano in the reception, despite the building being one big echo chamber, the staff just couldnt be bothered to ask people to respect that others are sleeping till i rushed down and complained with raised voice.

This hotel is only 4 stars by virtue of following the crooked system of having slightly big enough rooms, an elevator and a tiny pool in the yard

If the hotel rating was based on customer feedback, this hotel doesnt break 2 stars.

Never again.

We were rather disappointed. The room was very small, with only curtains to block out the light. Since there was only a completely transparent door separating the bedroom from the bathroom, and since there is no curtain in the bathroom, we had light shining in from early in the morning. Breakfast was frankly not great (powdered juice, stale fruit, tasteless coffee). The hotel is quite well located because it's not far from the Acropolis. However, the area is very unsafe (drug ******* on every street corner). We encountered scarers more than once. If you book at this hotel, take detours off the main roads for your safety.
And the best for last: we found a bedbug in our bed (well, in one of the two beds pushed together, as there were no double beds). It's a good thing we were leaving that day. When we reported this to the receptionist, he pretended not to hear us but did not hesitate to ask us to pay the tourist tax. Otherwise, on the positive side, the small pool on the top floor is quite nice, there is air conditioning in the rooms and the rest of the staff is quite friendly. We are not the type to criticize so easily, but we certainly do not recommend this hotel at all.

BEDBUGS!

Me and my mum stayed here, and my mum started coming up with a load of bites (we know it was from here as these bites started coming up during our holiday). The doctor said straight away, it’s bedbugs. Cue us having to basically heat treat every single item of fabric that came on our holiday with us, and we were lucky to catch it early to prevent our own house becoming infected.

Also the area the hotel is in, feels very unsafe to walk through at night, especially as a woman, lots of drug addicts and the like. On top of that, their definition of a ‘twin room’ is stretching it a bit. The rooms are clearly designed as double rooms despite having pull apart beds, which would be fine except for the fact they’re quite small.

The staff are lovely here, very receptive, they’re clearly trying their best in spite of higher management level issues.

But honestly the fact this hotel at the time of writing had bedbugs of all things, meaning you can come here, and risk getting them in your OWN house when you get back, is shocking. Avoid.

This hotel is in a terrible location. It is far away from the main attractions and any restaurants in Athens and is in a VERY sketchy (a lot of people stumbling around on drugs) part of town. I did not feel comfortable walking around outside of the building.

Aircon was not working for our two mights stay, only Nam was very helpful to provide a solution, he provided an extra room so we can sleep properly as we had to go to the port early morning and almost slept midnight

So the city is just sadly so dirty, tagged and filled with the homeless. It felt dirty but not dangerous. The hotel itself was nice as a previous review art was interesting but it was lying around in places. It looked like they had not gotten done putting it up. The television did not work and no idea how to call down. The staff was lovely and kind. We did not ever partake in the breakfast but there were so many awesome bakeries/coffee shops. It was easy to get around but we will probably stay in plaka or mythraoki next visit. It just felt more vacation spot.
