The Newel Psychiko Hotel in Athens

Fake 5 star Hotel. I couldn't find anyone to contact. The building looks new but it is constructed probably around the 60ies and is only renovated... They don't answer the phone. The area is not Psychiko. The location is a lie.. This area is actually Abelokipi and metro station is 20 minutes far away on foot.

Extremely disappointing stay.We chose this hotel and paid significantly more for a room advertised with a Jacuzzi. Unfortunately, what we got was a completely non-functional tub no jets, no bubbles, simply impossible to use.
Every day we approached the staff for help, and every time we were told that the technician is on holiday and there is nobody who can fix the issue. We requested repeatedly to speak with the manager, but he never responded or came to talk to us. Zero support, zero accountability.
We ended up paying extra for a service that does not exist, and the hotel made no effort to offer a solution or compensation. Very disappointing and definitely not what we expected from a hotel that promotes itself as high quality.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was absolutely appalling. There was no effort to change the bed sheets between guests. Instead, they simply placed a new duvet cover over the existing bed sheets to cover up. When I lifted the duvet, I found numerous hairs left behind by previous guests — some possibly from even earlier guests.

After a few days, I began to experience intense itching on exposed parts of my body, which I suspect might be due to a possible scabies infection. This level of hygiene is completely unacceptable for any establishment claiming to offer comfortable accommodations. I will never stay here again and strongly advise anyone to think twice before booking.
