Colors Hotel Athens in Athens

Nice small property, located not far from the city center. I have spent one night and the experience was a very positive one. The room is not very big but comfortable, good pressure in the shower, quality towels and comfy beds. The breakfast is very good, fresh food, quality ingredients and good coffee made by a staff member using a pro machine.

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean and quiet, AC worked great too (a plus considering we visited during a heat wave). The staff were very helpful and kind and helped to arrange airport transport for our very early flight. We felt safe in the area and found it easily walkable to a variety of places or to the bus stop(s).

We chose COLORS for a girls trip to Athens and we could not have made a better choice!
The hotel has a stylish modern design, colorful & cheeky. The room was huge, with the second bed being on it‘s own loft area, which was such a fun touch. Everything was clean & well maintained & the room was stocked with all amenities you could need. Excellent water pressure too, which was much appreciated after a long day exploring Athens.
On the weekends it is not 100% quiet at night which may be a bit difficult if you are a super light sleeper but neither of us had any issue getting a good night‘s sleep.
I want to specifically highlight the staff. From a list of recommendations sent to us before we even arrived, to super attentive service & making us a dinner reservation (upon request) for our first night (which was soooo good!) we just could not have asked for better.
The breakfast was tasty & fresh every morning, a lot of sweet & savory choices.
The area is full cute bars, shops & restaurants. The metro is nearby but all attractions are in walking distance.
If we come back to Athens we will definitely stay here.

We found this hotel on Expedia, and paid a little over £200 for three nights including breakfast.
We found the hotel easily having followed the website's directions from Athens airport.

Kostas welcomed us to the hotel, and gave us lots of details regarding places to eat and the city sight seeing bus.
All the staff were really friendly, especially the young lad at breakfast, and greeted us each time we came back to the hotel and wished us a good day/evening when we went out.

The hotel itself is clean and well presented, and well located for all the main attractions. I agree with other reviews saying don't let the surrounding area put you off at all, we always felt safe walking around at night. It's an easy 15-20min walk to Syntagma Square and only another 5-10 to the Acropolis and the Plaka area, the nearest metro station is Panepistimio which is only about a 5 mins walk.

The room was lovely, the bed and pillows were really comfy. It also had a proper hairdryer, not one of those useless built in ones you usually find in hotels. We loved the spacious riser shower too.
Breakfast was also excellent, there was a choice of cooked items, similar to an English breakfast, plus warm pastries, cereal, fruit, yoghurt and cheeses and meats.

We would 100% stay again if we come back to Athens. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful stay!

Very nice hotel in the centre of Athens in the neighbourhood of the university. Ideal either for business or holiday trips. The rooms are very confortable and the service provided at the hotel is amazing. Stefanos, Maria and Kostas have immediately been welcoming, friendly and available for us, taking care of making our stay the best possible. I also recommend the very good breakfast (including delicious tiropites) kindly prepared by Sofia and Dimitris. Note that the hotel aims at ecological effort and if you accept one day of room cleaning, you get free drink for the bar. What should I say other than : bomba !

For our family they have upgraded us to the apartment with 2 bedrooms and a kitchen. It was a great experience.

The hotel is quite good, the room is spacious, dry and wet are separated, and the terrace is beautiful. The overall feeling is good. The advantage of large rooms is quite prominent in Europe.

This is my 3rd time staying here and I always leave happy. First of all, the staff is very helpful and they help you with any problems you may have. They are a very young and friendly team. The rooms are very spacious and nicely designed. Since the pillows have different heights, you can easily find the right pillow for you. The fact that it is centrally located is also a great advantage.

The location is good, and the rooms are kind of new and modern.
We got a 3-bed (family?) room. Quite noisy street traffic in the morning if the room is facing the street.

The reception staff were friendly and professional, but beyond that, there wasn’t much that stood out.
We didn’t try the breakfast, so I can’t comment on that.

With some more attention to detail and hospitality, this place could be much better.
