Where to stay in Piraeus

We booked this hotel as a package, a cheap one, for a quick last minute getaway. As you can see in the pictures the bathroom was ridden with drain flies and mould in the grout. We discussed changing rooms but for the little time we were in the room we did not deem it worth it, however these things did not go unnoticed. The room itself is ok, slightly outdated. Although we stayed there only one night, the choice of that specific hotel proved to be a pleasant surprise. The room, although without a remarkable view, was relatively spacious. The bathroom was quite good, clean, and provided everything needed for hassle-free and enjoyable use (three types of shampoo for hair and body, lotion, bathroom slippers, clean and relatively new towels, cotton swabs, etc...

We booked this hotel because we had a boat to Santorini the next morning. The hotel looks nice from the outside, but the furnishings are average. Is it a traditional five-star hotel? It's about a ten-minute drive from E7.

Nice stay for the second time. Great location, nice staff and the parking is a big plus. The hotel is clean and the rooms large. It could do with a few cosmetic improvements and refurbishment but the ratio quality/price is one of the best. The breakfast is ok, not the main asset but the staff really kind.

We arrived late at night and in the room were snacks and small bottle of wine which was a perfect way to end the evening after a long flight! It reminded me of a Motel 6. It was a bed and a bathroom with a broken chair at the desk. You cannot take a shower without getting the whole bathroom wet and the toilet is up against the side wall.

We got to the hotel early and the front desk accommodated my husband and I by allowing us to check in early so we can rest. The hotel is near the cruise terminals which was also convenient. Overall, we had a great stay before our cruise.

Pros: clean. Bed comfortable. Good lighting and outlets in the room. Cons: No shampoo or Conditioner. 1 bathtowel for 2 persons? 1 Welcome bottle of water in the fridge.

Good location but it a bit old. But reasonable price, and dinner is good though.

Although a simple room, it was clean and well maintained. Very helpful and friendly staff. We ate in the hotel both dinner and breakfast. Good food, great value and very hospitable service. Breakfast wasn’t included in our stay, but was well with it. It is an excellent location for cruisers as it is within a simple walk to the port.

Good place to stay pré-cruise and even post-cruise. Located a 15 minute walk from the Diminko Theater Metro station (Line 3 direct from airport - 9€) and 15 minute walk to the port of Piraeus. It’s basic, but clean and pleasant staff. I would recommend it!

Very nice. Arrived following cruise at 10am (check in wasn’t until 2/3pm) and they had our room ready and waiting. They were kind, provided water bottle and taxi for airport following morning.

The service was good and the place was clean. It's perfect for staying the night before or after boarding or disembarking a ship. My only complaint is that there was no hair dryer.

Staying here is inexpensive and on the coast. We started in a large three bedroom with no view which was more expensive than the ocean view. We changed to the ocean view that was wonderful. Unfortunately the beds are not that comfortable but tolerable.

For 50 euros a night with a view of the sea, it was definitely worth it, but I wouldn’t pay more. The interior is very old, and the sink in the bathroom was hanging as if it was going to fall at any moment. One good point is that the check out is at 12 that was very convenient.

There for 1 night to catch the next ferry. Very close to the port. Reception was extremely helpful with guidance on how to reach the port and where our ferry would be.

The room was ok, clean and comfortable

 I chose this hotel because it said it had Wi-Fi, but I couldn't use it at all. In the end, I had to go to a high-priced restaurant where there was Wi-Fi, which made for an inconvenient stay. It's close to the port.

This was a very basic hotel that needs renovation. The staff was not very helpful but rather impolite. It was OK for one night but I won't return. I do not recoment this hotel to anyone. There are plenty of much better hotels in the area with the same price.

This quaint appearing hotel is a hidden gem! The short cobblestone walk from the bus stop was a surprise but we made it. The staff were very welcoming and informative. They directed us to a lovely restaurant in walking distance. The food was fabulous. In fact we ate there twice! We forgot our conversion plugs and the happily provided us with two during our stay! It's very close to the port, making it a convenient place to stay if you're taking a ferry. There are also large supermarkets nearby, making shopping convenient. This is an older hotel, but the amenities are still there and the cleanliness is acceptable; however, there's no kettle. The room isn't too small, but the shower is quite small. The beat place we’ve stayed in the area. The service is amazing - very welcoming staff accept you when you arrived, offering a welcoming drink on the rooftop. friendly staff decent location in eastern piraeus cool looking rooms that look like the advertised rooms with what feels like soundproof walls only major downside was the wifi, they have 8 different connections that keep swapping between each other and disconnecting overall. when i could finally get connected most social media apps would not work at all.

This is a nice hotel with a lot of character. The Veranda bar overlooks the ocean and has a very pleasant atmosphere. There is a beach across the street and a grocery store next door. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is old, I changed several rooms, all except the rooms with a sea view have a stale smell of old age, breakfasts are like Groundhog Day every day, the same thing, they don't even change the omelette to fried eggs. Perfect for the ferries at Piraeus. Very well priced. Rooms are clean and decent shower. Compact rooms, but given that most will just be using it as a base for one night, it's all you need.
