Piraeus Theoxenia Hotel in Piraeus

Although we stayed there only one night, the choice of that specific hotel proved to be a pleasant surprise. The room, although without a remarkable view, was relatively spacious. The bathroom was quite good, clean, and provided everything needed for hassle-free and enjoyable use (three types of shampoo for hair and body, lotion, bathroom slippers, clean and relatively new towels, cotton swabs, etc.). The bed was comfortable, the heating satisfactory, the furniture quite tasteful and functional, the television was the right size and properly set up. The breakfast was hearty with many options for every type of diet and appetite. The staff was polite and helpful. And all of this at a price that, when it was told to me at reception, I thought it must be a numerical mistake and I had to have them confirm it to be convinced I had heard the requested amount correctly. :-)

P.S. And one remark about the price: I had tried to book through a well-known platform and the price (supposedly a special offer) I received turned out to be at least 20 euros more expensive! Fortunately for us, as it wasn't certain whether we would stay overnight in Piraeus, I preferred not to make an online reservation, and I think I probably never will again!

Theoxenia Palace Piraeus is a great choice for a successful city trip. The location is very convenient, close to everything you might need. The breakfast is generous and varied, the rooms are spacious and warm—an important detail, especially when traveling near Christmas. The hotel staff is extremely kind and helpful, making the stay even more pleasant. A big plus for those arriving by car is the underground parking, which adds real comfort and peace of mind.

The location is great! Taking the ferry is especially necessary.
