The shower was ridiculous. It was literally 2 square feet in a corner with a curtain.
Restaurant service was very sub par. It was hard to get service and when you did, once the food was delivered, you had to hunt them down for another drink, the bill, etc.
Breakfast is average but needs to be replenished more often. Hot food becomes cold.
Front desk was great.
Ashtrays on outdoor tables need to be cleaned and emptied regularly.
Cons: No shampoo or Conditioner. 1 bathtowel for 2 persons? 1 Welcome bottle of water in the fridge.
The room was scrupiously clean, the staff friendly and efficient. I don't usually post big reviews but this place deserves it, they care about the guests in a very personal way, not experienced with the big chains. Thank-you Savoy.
We stayed in the Savoy the night before we went off on our cruise. All the Staff were so friendly and polite. The room was lovely and clean.
On our way home we had a late flight and asked if we could leave our bags in the hotel. We decided to have lunch here and Adam the Manager joined us who we had been chatting to before we left. He was very friendly and made our experience one to remember. The staff also took care of us by booking transfers to the airport and made everything effortless.
We definitely will be back!!
