The breakfast is generous and varied, the rooms are spacious and warm—an important detail, especially when traveling near Christmas. The hotel staff is extremely kind and helpful, making the stay even more pleasant

A big plus for those arriving by car is the underground parking, which adds real comfort and peace of mind

And one remark about the price: I had tried to book through a well-known platform and the price (supposedly a special offer) I received turned out to be at least 20 euros more expensive! Fortunately for us, as it wasn't certain whether we would stay overnight in Piraeus, I preferred not to make an online reservation, and I think I probably never will again!

Theoxenia Palace Piraeus is a great choice for a successful city trip. The location is very convenient, close to everything you might need

The bathroom was quite good, clean, and provided everything needed for hassle-free and enjoyable use (three types of shampoo for hair and body, lotion, bathroom slippers, clean and relatively new towels, cotton swabs, etc

And all of this at a price that, when it was told to me at reception, I thought it must be a numerical mistake and I had to have them confirm it to be convinced I had heard the requested amount correctly

We arrived late at night and in the room were snacks and small bottle of wine which was a perfect way to end the evening after a long flight! Room was clean, breakfast had many food choices and the staff was cheerful

Great location, nice staff and the parking is a big plus. The hotel is clean and the rooms large. It could do with a few cosmetic improvements and refurbishment but the ratio quality/price is one of the best

We got to the hotel early and the front desk accommodated my husband and I by allowing us to check in early so we can rest. The hotel is near the cruise terminals which was also convenient

Woke up to a bit of rain and they had umbrellas to take on our tour Athens

The breakfast is ok, not the main asset but the staff really kind

Good place to stay pré-cruise and even post-cruise. Located a 15 minute walk from the Diminko Theater Metro station (Line 3 direct from airport - 9€) and 15 minute walk to the port of Piraeus

Although a simple room, it was clean and well maintained. Very helpful and friendly staff. We ate in the hotel both dinner and breakfast. Good food, great value and very hospitable service

Very nice. Arrived following cruise at 10am (check in wasn’t until 2/3pm) and they had our room ready and waiting. They were kind, provided water bottle and taxi for airport following morning.

Breakfast wasn’t included in our stay, but was well with it. It is an excellent location for cruisers as it is within a simple walk to the port

For 50 euros a night with a view of the sea, it was definitely worth it, but I wouldn’t pay more. The interior is very old, and the sink in the bathroom was hanging as if it was going to fall at any moment

Good hotel in full sea view , book earlier yo have better price ! The area is abit on the sea side and one bus only pass from their its better to have your own car to enjoy going out at night unless considering using taxi

Staying here is inexpensive and on the coast. We started in a large three bedroom with no view which was more expensive than the ocean view. We changed to the ocean view that was wonderful

Unfortunately the beds are not that comfortable but tolerable

The AC was excellent, when there wasn’t a sea breeze through the balcony door. The view was magnificent and a gift to wake up to every morning! The bus stop outside the door was convenient

A wonderful, cozy hotel in an aesthetic location. Nearby are restaurants with genuine Greek charm, and the ferry dock is not far away. The staff are friendly, with an exceptional team at the reception

The only complaint is the drains smelt a bit in the bathroom but with the door shut, wasn’t a big problem. The staff were so friendly and extremely helpful with directions to the port and important information

And even more helpful when you wake up late and are about to miss your ferry! Couldn’t be more grateful, would definitely pick to stay here again if I came back to the area

We got an upgrade to a bigger room which was really nice. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. There’s a free street parking in front of the hotel

The room was great with a mini fridge to keep everything cool too! Very clean and tidy room with all basic necessities including air conditioning and a TV

The only negative thing we found was that we can hear the disturbing noise from the street and the walkway in front of the room almost all night

After a long flight, Piraeus Port Hotel was just what we needed. The location was perfect – right by the port for our early ferry the next morning, hot running water, AC working well, and a comfortable big bed

This quaint appearing hotel is a hidden gem! The short cobblestone walk from the bus stop was a surprise but we made it. The staff were very welcoming and informative

They directed us to a lovely restaurant in walking distance. In fact we ate there twice! We forgot our conversion plugs and the happily provided us with two during our stay! I would return to this hotel for another stay

This is a great hotel situated near to the Port. It is about 10 minutes walk from the metro station, 25 minutes from the port and about 15 minutes to the cruise ship port. The rooms are tiny, but sufficient

The reception lady also gave us an excellent information for food close by. The tavern she recommended after I asked where we could have lunch serves an amazing traditional food

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this great hotel. Super clean, very friendly staff, very close to the port, super convenient for those coming from the airport as well

We stayed at Ion Hotel for one night before our cruise and it was a great choice. The location is very convenient — just a 10-minute walk from the metro with a direct connection from the airport

Very nice hotel for only 2 stars, you can see the docks from the balcony and it is also just less than 20 minutes walking from pasalimani that is a really beautiful place to visit!

The hotel is clean and comfortable, perfect for a short stay. If you’re heading to cruise terminal B or C, as we were, I recommend taking an Uber

One tip: bring an adapter, since the room only has European plugs and no USB ports. Nothing fancy, but just what you need for a night

It is fantastically situated directly across from Piraeus Station giving easy access to Athens sights as well as both Olympiacos and Panathinaikos football Stadiums It is also adjacent to the Port for ferries to the islands The hotel staff from front desk to cleaners to breakfast were super friendly, helpful and accommodating and are a credit to the hotel

There are also some worthwhile sights nearby in Piraeus itself and the hotel serves as a great base for beach lovers with tram stops to the Athens Riviera a few minutes away All in all this hotel provided us with an excellent and enjoyable stay, offering very good value for money and we would recommend it

The area as a whole has like anywhere, it's plusses and minuses but we found it generally safe, pleasant, lively at times but not excessively so, with a variety of shops, cafes, restaurants, kiosks and more in the immediate vicinity and and an even wider range in the neighborhood in general

I was pleasantly surprised how nice this moderately-priced hotel was.  The staff was extremely helpful, and the room was very nice and very clean.  The breakfast was not great, but convenient.

The room was both functional and comfortable and afforded plenty of space for us both. This and the ensuite with excellent "rain shower" were modern, stylish, spacious and well maintained

The Alex - A Hidden Gem in Athens! Our stay at The Alex in Piraeus, just a 30-minute drive from Athens Airport, was an absolute delight! Despite being located slightly away from the hustle of Athens, this hotel's strategic position made it a mere 15-minute journey to major attractions like the Acropolis, Monastiraki Square, etc

The beat place we’ve stayed in the area. The service is amazing - very welcoming staff accept you when you arrived, offering a welcoming drink on the rooftop

The room is well arranged and attendant every day, well maintained. Especially when you wake up early for a breakfast on the roof when the sunshines

Been coming to Greece for over 30 years, The Alex is the best hotel I've been to here. Visited once in 2022 and a second time in 2023, can guarantee I'll be staying here again when I'm back later on in 2024

The area is great to either walk around and explore; but now it is a 5m taxi into the center, or about 10m away to catch your boat. Can't recommend The Alex highly enough, this accommodation is supreme

If you're expecting a luxury hotel, you might not be. Private room with working air-conditioning and comfy pillows. The toilet flushes a little funky--you need to use a water bucket to aid flushing

Wish I had booked more nights here! Front desk is amazing. Better than hostels that I've stayed at, for roughly the same price. That said, if you're comparing to a hostel, you'll be impressed

Everything is good, but they don’t have a kettle. If you want hot water, they will provide one.

Also, there's no curtain for the shower and tv doesn't work

Only little point, would be great to have a shower cabin or at least a curtain

We stayed here for one night as a couple after a flight from Asia. Wanted to charge extra 25 euros for early check in so we gave that a miss. The hotel entrance is obscured with frosted glass

The address is very good. It's on the edge of the port and very close to the seaside. It's very comfortable to take a walk and drink coffee. You can see the life of the locals and stay away from the bustling urban area.

The hotel is old, I changed several rooms, all except the rooms with a sea view have a stale smell of old age, breakfasts are like Groundhog Day every day, the same thing, they don't even change the omelette to fried eggs

The only plus is the first line and if the room has a sea view, the view is amazing, especially sunsets and sunrises

Located just 5 min walk from Gate E9 ( most SeaJets ferries). 2 min to Metro Teatro Piraeus with connection direct to airport every 36 minutes. Nice and renovated rooms with small balconies towards main street

The hotel is situated in the middle of a very busy street in Pireaus. The one downside is that it has no parking, but you have so many parking areas (10-12€ for the whole day) so it didn't make a difference to us

Lovely, modernized hotel in heart of Pirareus. Our balcony was huge- big enough for multiple chairs, two loungers, and tables. The free breakfast was delicious and quite ample- eggs, sausages, pastries, etc

The hotel helped me by calling an ambulance and assisting me in my room (I had a lymph node that appeared and I had to be taken to the emergency room with a major infection, risking my life due to the location of the lymph node)

I had to rest and the staff, concerned about my diet, brought a meal to my room even though I hadn't asked for it. They've been calling the room to see if I'm all right and need anything

I came by bus from Athens, and it was close to the bus stop. It's also close to the port of Piraeus, so it's a very convenient location. The building was old, but the room was clean.

There was a struck when I was there. Hotel staff was very nice to provide the struck information and help to arrange the transportation. 👍 I will recommend

It’s one of the cheapest places to stay and right on the port. Perfect for a fast overnight sleep before or after taking the ferry to various islands. The rooms are old style backpackers but that’s reflected in the price

One drawback is the elevator - it’s very narrow and can barely fit four people, which can be inconvenient during busy times

Stayed here one night with my father the night before our cruise. Restaurants and shops within walking distance. If you are sailing out of Pireas on your cruise it is less than 5 minutes in a taxi to the port.

The room with balcony was great. The staff is friendly and helpful. I was not impressed with breakfast, but the lady that works, is very kind. The rooms are clean and smell good

Very nice hotel for the price! Location is convenient although it’s close to the ferry port, not the cruise Port！ that’s my mistake for not looking closely enough! Luggage storage is just a room and I felt okay storing it but I’m not sure everyone would!

Place is very spacious and clean. Pool is very well maintained. View is amazing. Plenty of shade to have breakfast outside. Parking is tight and the side road to reach the property is narrow and steep at times.

Convenient and offer Value for money room if you have late arrival by ferry. It has 24 reception service therefore no need for panic if your ferry is running late

Apart from WiFi being substandard (40 Mbps down is great, but 5 Mbps Upload is totally substandard - we need 25 Mbps up at least), my stay was fine. Notably, the staff were excellent and the hotel was very clean.

It is within walking distance of the port and a few cafes near by. We felt safe in the area and it was kind of quiet. Its a quiet area in our opinion. We were thrilled at the size of our room!
