First time to Greece and was excited with reading reviews,our flight was delayed by 3 hours ,but was greeted by the owner with a plate of food which we can’t fault The room was a massive disappointment,it smelt of sewers all week ,there is not enough storage at all , so lived out of our suitcase,the bathroom we knew was a wet room but the hook for the shower was to big ,so had to hold it to shower,not great ,yes the rooms were cleaned daily but they were in need of tlc Food was ok ,but the same food not eaten in the morning was put out for lunch and evening meal ,meal time felt like a rush as they’ve added a new block of apartments but not made the dining area any bigger or the pool area,if you didn’t queue for a bed by 8.30 you had no chance to get near the pool ,drinks were poor ,cocktails awful On a plus side staff are great and helpful, sunbeds are comfy if you manage to get one ,we would not return to this hotel and it’s definitely not boutique as it’s sold to you

Very kind staff, always smiling and made us feel comfortable. Very good cleaning, food and enterteiment music at every evening. Quiet and nice. Real family feeling. Little bit middle of nowhere, we hired a car to see something else too. Nearest city Laganas is full of bars, restautants and Disco, not original greek at all. Also full of tourists.

Excellent hotel where you feel right at home. The rooms are good and clean, the food is excellent, and you can tell it is run by a family that puts a lot of effort into this hotel. It is very eco-friendly, and it focuses on local, high-quality products, which is fantastic. The hotel's located near the beach, which is very lovely.

We had a wonderful stay here in Sept/October. . Only meant to be a week but turned out to be longer as my husband was admitted to hospital. I can’t thank Spiros, Maria, Ireni, Elani, Forini for their care they gave to me during an extremely stressful time. So kind and it goes beyond words. Exceptional people. Thank you. We loved the food, always plenty of it and good variation. Hotel as clean, the beds were so comfortable. We had a swim up pool room first week and then a first floor bedroom at the back of the hotel where you get the sun in the afternoon and quieter in the evening. Both lovely rooms. One of their activities was olive picking which was great fun. I just love their ethos. It felt like a retreat to me. Different activities in the day from yoga, Pilates, Greek cooking, you can hire e-bikes too. Really nice atmosphere, friendly, personal attention at all times. The beach is only a 10 minute walk and Cameo Island another 5 mins on. Nice part of Zante in the countryside amongst the olive groves. We did a lot of walking and even walked to Kalamaki along the beach which took about 40 minutes. We came as strangers and went away as good friends. Highly recommend. We will be back.

Just back from a week staying at the wonderful Castelli Hotel. Myself and my wife both loved it. Room was very clean and modern. Staff could not do enough for you and nothing was ever a hassle. Food was lovely (could have been a bit hotter at times) and had a good selection. I am fussy and a very basic eater and there was always something i could eat. The shower in our room was an issue. There was an overhead shower and a hand shower. If using the overhead shower, the bathroom including toilet becomes soaking. This would be solved with a shower curtain. The only other issue was the wasps at breakfast time mainly. If eating in the outdoor area of the restaurant, you are constantly trying to avoid wasps getting on your food which was not great. Another guest told us that this is more prevalent of late due to the recent wildfires and wasps relocating. Despite these two things, it would definitely not stop us staying there again.

Excellent hotel, staff couldn’t be more welcoming and helpful. Comfortable, well equipped room, great of choice of food and drink. Quiet location with easy going, no pressure, activities, excellent value for money, so much so, have already booked again for next year!

Currently staying at Castelli for my special birthday which we were so looking forward to after reading reviews. However we must be staying in a different hotel or they are over in the new block which we didn’t see. Booked a swim up room but it was not as advertised. Pool had a brown scum line all around and a film floating in top, once waterfall started the moving water seemed better. Room is very dark and dingy due to covered patio but no extra lightening installed to compensate this. Vinyl on floor and steps in bed room is like being in a supermarket, not enough storage, bathroom so small and no shower screen so everything and I do mean everything was sopping wet after we used the shower. Once out the shower , dry and dressed we had to paddle through the water if we needed to go back into bathroom, paintwork patches, stains, rusty toilet roll holder and although none of these are particularly bad for a 4 star hotel we expected more. We paid over £3000 for our stay and could have got much more for our money elsewhere and as said for a special birthday, I felt it ruined my day and was not a birthday I will remember for being wonderful. We met another couple here who only paid £700 each and they described it perfectly the whole place is ok a 5/10 all round. The staff are nice, polite and helpful, the food is edible and ok but please do not read all the reviews and expect fabulous because you will be disappointed like us.

What a little gem of a hotel. Family run and the gentleman who runs it with his daughter welcomed us at reception, His words were”welcome,you are a guest and not a number”. That says it all. Staff were wonderful. Nothing too much trouble. Food was great.Something for everyone. Not a huge hotel which is great so no build up of people at eating times.I like that they bring you the drinks while you are seated. No pouring your own wine at the machines.Rooms comfortable and beds and pillows were great. Everywhere clean.Would recommend the hotel. Small, friendly and homely.

Excellent staff, possibly the best service we’ve received at any hotel. First all inclusive we’ve been to where you don’t have to wear a wristband. Spotlessly clean and ideal location. Food was wonderful and varied. We would recommend The Castelli and will return. Last word has to be for the owner. Welcomes everyone in and out and makes every guest feel special.

Wow - this hotel lives up to all the recent positive reviews! The staff are outstanding, from staying up late to welcome us and then waving us off, Mr Spiros (the owner) referred to the hotel as our home and it certainly felt that way. He provided good advice on car hire and told us to be safe ❤️ felt like he genuinely cares for his guests. We had a few queries before we arrived, Irene was so super helpful that we had a great impression before we arrived. Highlights (other than the wonderful staff) are the food (best quality we’ve had an in an all inclusive), cleanliness and a spacious room in the new block - we had a triple room for me, my husband and adult daughter. We enjoyed the evening entertainment, which was done by 11 - we were looking for a relaxing holiday, it is not a party hotel despite the close proximity to Laganas. When we realised how close the hotel is to Laganas we were a little concerned but it wasn’t an issue. There were a couple of groups of younger people, they were well behaved and considerate of other guests.
