Our kids absolutely loved the pool – we could hardly get them out of it! The buffet food was always fresh and delicious
A magnificent location with excellent service. The hotel staff is very courteous and serviced. A pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. It is highly recommended to take a room with a private pool
A Truly Amazing Stay – Like Paradise! We’ve just returned from an incredible stay at this hotel as a family of four from Scotland, and we’re already missing it! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm, friendly smiles from the staff, who couldn’t have been more helpful or welcoming
Their kindness made a wonderful first impression and set the tone for the rest of our stay. The hotel itself is spotless and beautifully maintained, with stunning views that made it feel like a slice of paradise
If we could suggest one small improvement, it would be to add themed nights for a bit more variety – but honestly, we were more than happy with the quality and selection each day
This was our favorite place to stay on our two week trip around Greece. The hotel itself is beautiful and very clean. The room was amazing also and the bathroom was very nice

29 years ago we honeymooned here. Time passed and we finally found our way back. It has only become better one better. Our room had a private pool with stunning views
And the service, from welcome, to servers to cleaning staff were courteous, helpful and friendly. Truly an amazing experience at every step and at every moment. And the facilities and grounds are impeccable
She accommodated any requests with a genuine caring attitude. Hotel has several restaurant options if you don’t want to leave and explore the island. Highly recommend the Italian a Japanese restaurants
The location, while not offering the very best view of Mirabello Bay and Spinalonga Island – which lies further north – is still breathtaking and its most fascinating feature in my opinion is the secluded, elegant, cozy, reserved, and quiet atmosphere
This was our final island on our trip so we were content to stay on the resort and not explore the island. If you want to see more of Crete, definitely rent a car bc the island is huge
It starts at check in, where the staff went above and beyond, they welcomed us with a glass of champagne and then we were escorted to our room by IoAnna, who is an absolute delight

There are sunbeds round the pool and you do not get bombarded with loud booming music all day
The staff were super friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and there were plenty of loungers for all. A few minutes walk into Elounda the location was great Rooms had a mini fridge and the beds were comfortable
Ideally located both for Elounda itself and the peninsula where you have some wonderful wilder beaches. Didn't eat in the hotel much but had breakfast once and dinner once, both of which were excellent value
Superb views, great standards of cleanliness, rooms absolutely everything you'd expect or more for a hotel in this range
This is our second time in Elounda and our first stay here but if we come back again, we won't look anywhere else
The rooms are modestly appointed yet well-maintained, featuring a pleasant outdoor area suitable for enjoying refreshments or light snacks. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to accommodate your needs

We stayed at Elounda Peninsula in October as a family of three in room 3159, which had a private pool and split level
The photos were quite limited, so we didn’t know exactly what to expect, but the space and layout were far beyond what we imagined. We arrived late, and the staff were kind, patient, and incredibly accommodating
When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised because the room was much better in person than in the photos on the hotel’s website
Breakfast restaurant cleverly situated to be out of the wind but have a fantastic sunrise view. Pools are luxurious but all salt water so doesn't feel so impactful on the environment
The children’s pool is gently heated and perfect for little ones, and there was plenty to do around the grounds. We didn’t end up using the creche much because we were happy just spending time together on site
The view from our room was amazing too, and waking up to the sound of the water was unforgettable. Breakfast was a highlight every morning. The team there deserves a special mention

And the extortionate prices for anything outside that covered by half board e. €3+ for a 1 litre bottle of mineral water
Excellent! The hotel is fabulous; staff amazing especially Anna Maria, she is the best , tries so hard to make your holiday the best, we love coming here
Friendly, helpful staff, very clean, good breakfast and dinner buffet and comfortable beds. Concierge very helpful. Lovely welcome.
Cheapest wine in the buffet restaurant was $38, Spa was out of action and had been closed for a long period. Infinity pool filthy and not fit for use. Love Elounda but would never return to this hotel
Elounda Bay Palace & Hotel Review When you choose a five-star hotel, particularly one that promotes itself as luxurious, expectations are naturally very high
However … the Jet2 description of the amenities are misleading and inaccurate and needs serious attention to save it from trades description - €30 deduction for eating in one of their listed restaurants was a joke, as many of the facilities are either closed or in their ‘sister’ hotel therefore not on site, and extremely expensive

I would opt for the breakfast only package - there are a plethora of decent places to eat in nearby villages and towns and you’ll not be tied into dining at the hotel every evening
There is no bar scene as such - it’s all pretty quiet by 12, which suited us but if you are used to a more raucous atmosphere I’d suggest somewhere else
We stayed at this resort for 10 nights in mid September and thoroughly enjoyed it - the setting is glorious , the staff are all fantastic and helpful
The on-site food is good , but you will have had better , if you like fine dining/are a bit of a foodie and booking a table reservation was easy
If you can afford it , upgrade , but the lower tariff apartments we stayed in were still pretty nice
All in all, an amazing experience in a beautiful part of Crete and I would highly recommend this resort to anyone who wants to unplug from their everyday and totally relax in beautiful surroundings

Location in is amazing set in the hills so the views are incredible, we booked a room with pool, but point to note £60euros per day to heat it, which was a bit disappointing, however the room was large and very comfortable, the bedroom is separated by a partition so there is a lot of lights at night from security lights
The overall design of the hotel is beautifully done – classy, modern furnishings and attention to detail throughout, from bedrooms to poolside bars, restaurants, gym and yoga suite
The staff so friendly and welcoming and not intrusive. Our room was amazing and watching sunrise was incredible. I had the BEST head, neck, shoulder and back massage with Eleni, she has magical fingers!!! Thank you ☺️
Thank you too to all the staff, but special mentions for Saimira in housekeeping, Dana in reception and our darling Mythos, who is more than just a wonderful employee, she's a wonderful person
Well, what can I say about this beautiful hotel. It's my 2nd time to visit this year, first time with my husband and kids and second time with my mum and we were welcomed back like family
The views from this beautiful hotel are only matched by the warmth of the staff. Don't be fooled by the calm, laid-back atmosphere. This hotel runs like clockwork

If we had paid full price then we would have been a bit miffed. If you are you going on the water slides use a ring or lilo. The joins on the slides rip you to bits!
Amazing hotel and it is very family oriented, the staff were exceptional ( Georgia, Ismail from the hotel , TUI staff ( Louis and Stasha ), plenty of pools and very excellent water slides, the food was delicious and the main restaurant location and view is awesome
What a fabulous week we've had. Just using the free courtesy room to freshen up before the coach trip to the airport then back to the UK. Great food. Great refreshments. Great pools. Amazing staff. I can't fault it.
Absolutely beautiful, food is lovely, staff are fabulous. Pools are lovely too.
There are two lovely pools, fresh food and drink at both sites and happy staff to encourage sport activity in the day. The restaurant is fully stocked with beautiful food and fruit
Great hotel, very clean and week kept. staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Food was really tasty and a good variety each day.

There isn't much around either, so if you're happy to chill by the pool with delicious food, then this is your hotel
The staff were all wonderful - all reception staff couldn't do enough to help you, Albert was great collecting and taking our luggage, restaurant staff were welcoming and friendly, Vasilikis who ran the pool bar in the day was always smiling and friendly and Simos who ran the bar in the evening knew what we drank and looked after us every evening
Great little place, hills and steps to contend with,so bear this in mind if booking, but they do have a golf buggy and are more than happy to assist you up and down driveway as long as you communicate with them, nice breeze around pool which is much needed with the heat, food was amazing,no complaints
A bit out of town, something like 30 minutes walk. Absolutely amazing views from pool and dining areas
They are a family of staff and work thier socks off ! I can’t mention them all by name but they made our holiday an absolute pleasure ! I can’t than thank them enough for caring about us which is so lost these days in hospitality, kindness wins !!!!!
Gregory the bartender was another notable member of staff, as well as the manager, who was always on hand to help. Overall the staff really make this place feel special. The views from this place were incredible

The meals were fantastic, tasty, fresh and superbly displayed. Quite honestly spoilt for choice! The grounds, pool, beach and surrounding areas were beautifully maintained
This is an amazing hotel with superb staff, food, location and very comfy rooms. Butterfly was our host cleaner. When we arrived late she arranged two swans on the bed made from towels with flower petals across the bed
The kitchen had organised a meal for us with prosecco drinks, chocolates and turkish delight. The staff in the restaurant were so attentive and interesting to talk to. Particularly Adhul and Giorgio serving us outside
The grounds are stunning , wonderfully landscaped , with beautiful flowers , herbs and grasses, miles of paths to walk within the site. Beautiful Plaka and Elounda within walking distance
This was our first trip to Greece. We picked Domes because it was very highly rated. To start, the staff gets my highest rating. Extremely friendly and attentive without hovering

The beautiful photo that google pulls up with the arches and beautiful pool is no longer at this property
Possibly the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. The facilities and the grounds are exquisite and the staff are above and beyond. The restaurant serves some of the most delicious food I have ever eaten.
The food was as extraordinary as the service - we came away feeling like everyone we encountered there is now a good friend! Highly recommend the traditional “pop up” dinner - which was absolutely spectacular
The understated elegance that fully takes at advantage of the natural views that come with this location is truly stunning. We truly appreciated the food and the service I this amazing spot
We didn't really use the beach, but there looked to be plenty of sun loungers. The beach is big pebbles so would recommend taking rubber shoes for getting in and out of the water
We didn't eat lunch or dinner at the hotel. It's true that the hotel is set into the hillside and for some people this may be an issue, but the buggy service is readily available if needed

We have had a lovely 10 days at the Elounda Orama - all the staff are so helpful and welcoming - our room was lovely and spacious and the bed and pillows were excellent which is always a bonus - we had a large balcony with added sunloungers which were a real treat and a lovely view of the sea and Spinalonga in the distance - the dining area had stunning views of Elounda Bay which were a delight when...
I would not recommend the standard room as it was extremely small and felt claustrophobic, we did try to upgrade the day we got there but they were unfortunately fully booked, as a couple with two suitcases there was no room whatsoever and very limited hanging space so had to leave the suitcases open on the floor and climb over them to get around
The hotel is in a great location to the town and the staff were very friendly
I think the hotel would benefit from an overall refresh, painting etc and the pool to be cleaned more often, although the water was clear there was green mould build up around the sides as well as the white pool loungers
The position of the hotel couldn't be better, the short stroll to the beach in the mornings was one of my favourite things. We didn't really use the pool, so cant really comment on it
Everything from food, drinks, staff, stay, VIEWS, pool and finally distance to everything

The new sky deck bar and pool is a great addition, the views are incredible. We had B&B which suited us, as there are many restaurants within a 5 min walk
We had a jet 2 week holiday at this lovely hotel. We had a superior grove room, which was well equipped and spacious but lacking in a view. I think the main building has the better views, but much smaller rooms
The breakfasts are served in the ground floor restaurant and overlooking the bay. Everyone was very welcoming, we feel that we had found a little gem of a hotel and will be back
Breakfast was ok with all the usual suspects but lacked fresh fruit other than melon. Freshly squeezed orange juice was very good. It is well placed to walk along the promenade into the centre of town
My wife and I enjoyed a lovely week here. Our room was more than adequate for us. Small balcony with a glimpse of Elounda and the sea. The staff are really nice people and can’t do enough for you
There is their private shingle beach across the road which holds about 20 sun beds, of which nearly half were reserved by selfish people for longer than the permitted 30 minutes

Everything about it oozed elegance and the private terrace and pool were just magical, not to mention the view. The pool remained warm throughout our stay and was so very welcoming after a day out exploring
From delectable Mediterranean cuisine to refreshing cocktails enjoyed by the poolside, every meal was a celebration of flavour
From the moment we arrived we felt the 'WOW' factor. The welcome drink with that incredible view was wonderful. We were then swiftly taken to our villa by golf buggy and met with two wonderful ladies who showed us around
We stayed in a 2 Bedroom Luxury Residence and I think I can safely say, with working in travel for 20+ years, this was the best 'room' I've ever stayed in
Two full bathrooms, an oversized king size bedroom, a twin room, a kitchenette with a kettle, coffee machine, microwave, fridge, cooker, small sink and even a dishwasher
We really loved that the seats everywhere (lounges and restaurants) were always really comfortable!
The food was excellent, breakfast had endless choice and even the evening buffets were plentiful and always fresh and tasty

I have reviewed Elounda Heights before but felt it worthy of another. It is a very special place with a unique atmosphere run by a small but tight team of 10 people who are all super friendly
The owners, Kostas and Natalia, are constantly improving their offering year on year, and have plans for more apartments with their own private pools for 2026 which sounds exciting
The food at the pool bar is all freshly made with a good selection of Greek and other warm and cold snacks
There is an on-site restaurant and bar where meals are served every evening (except Sundays), and a daily special is created by the legend that is Vangelis. There is an ala carte menu too
You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay at Elounda Heights, and you are quite likely to re-book once you have stayed as the number of repeat guests are testament to
Rooms are regularly cleaned with fresh towels and bedding every couple of days. Also, complimentary shampoos, conditioners, and moisturisers are replenished when used

Fishing, Table tennis, Pool, Tennis court, Sauna
Comfortable, well equipped, and perfectly clean. The sea view was fantastic, overlooking the swiming pool and the coast. Our room was in a good state of renovation
The hotel is located on a cliff by the sea and therefore there are a lot of stairs and descents and ascents. It has its own beach with a bay. Which is great for those who don't feel very confident in the open sea
Comfortable, spacious, quiet, pretty garden, nice landscape, everything clean, delicious and varied food, very friendly and helpful staff, good Wifi, wide choice of TV channels
Amazing beach with some privacy and pleasant entrance to the water. Some darts and pool area, several bars and restaurants. Old empty building near by and diving school at the hotel area
To be honest, this hotel has a room for improvement. I will rate it 4 with a half stars. But our stay was a good one: good variety of food, including fish for dinners within half board stay, cava for a breakfast
Always clean everywhere, possibly to use tennis wand equipment for free of charge, parking. Hotel doesn’t provide water within the stay (only one welcome bottle), so you need to pay for drinks within HB stay

The cons are that the private pools aren't always heated so it's not always possible to use them, and also the hotel is on a mountain so you have to call a golf car to take you to the room/street/breakfast/pool each time pr climb by foot
Spent two glorious weeks here in October 2025. The hotel is spread across the hillside with inter-connecting walkways. There’s golf buggies that can be summoned via the phone to pick you up and take you to other areas
The staff are all super friendly, and do all they can to make your stay memorable. We stayed half board in a room with a private pool and terrace
The taxi back was €10 so good value. Defo take cash as some restaurants wouldn’t take card. We would definitely return to this fabulous place
Excellent hotel, great staff, stunning views. A couple of quibbles though, like the fact that the air-conditioning in our room was too weak, and being made to wait too long for our room

The food was also very good, with a lot of different dinner options to choose from, varying every night. We had a lovely time, and definitely will go back there again
We had a lovely holiday here in a resort that is small enough to feel that you get to experience the real Greece
The water park keeps the kids happy and happy kids means happy parents! It was a well kept hotel with all the amenities that we needed, we also felt welcomed and looked after throughout our stay
If you want to explore more of the island, you can also hire a car directly through the hotel. It’s very convenient and made discovering Crete simple and stress-free, definitely a big plus
The atmosphere was pleasant, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the buffet dinner was plenty and has great variety, and we honestly didn’t miss a thing during our stay

Elounda Alikes is on the water in the beautiful and quaint town of Elounda. The rooms are above average size with a decent balcony for 2 people. The AC was great as well as the bed

The rooms here are clean and comfortable, and there is always plenty of room hot water for the shower. We had a sea view room just a few metres from the sea, maybe 12/15m

Very lovely property and a relaxing stay. The hotel was bright, clean, comfortable and extremely stylish. We particularly loved lounging by the salt water pool. The hotel had lovely dining options on property.
The staff are all friendly and attentive. We had a few lunches in the hotel, all incredibly tasty. The pool bar is a great place to enjoy cocktails, and listen to some falo music
We can’t thank them enough!!! The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the food and drinks are 10/10!!!
