My friends and I stayed here for a week at the very end of the season and had the most fantastic time. The rooms were nice and clean, the staff were super friendly and great fun too. The food in the restaurant was delicious and we absolutely loved the rooftop bar. Elounda is the most fabulous place to visit, full of charm and friendly people. This hotel is right in the heart of it all, a wonderful...
We have just returned from a 5 night stay at this beautiful hotel we booked here as attending a family wedding nearby , staff couldn’t do enough for you . Couldn’t fault anything about this hotel . Thank you for making our stay a memorable one .
We had a jet 2 week holiday at this lovely hotel. It really is a great find. We had a superior grove room, which was well equipped and spacious but lacking in a view. I think the main building has the better views, but much smaller rooms. As ever it’s a balance. The new sky deck bar and pool is a great addition, the views are incredible. We had B&B which suited us, as there are many restaurants within...
My wife and I enjoyed a lovely week here. Our room was more than adequate for us. Small balcony with a glimpse of Elounda and the sea. The staff are really nice people and can’t do enough for you. Breakfast was ok with all the usual suspects but lacked fresh fruit other than melon. They were mainly canned. Freshly squeezed orange juice was very good. It is well placed to walk along the promenade into...
The hotel was in a great location, right on the (shingle) beach. Our room was a decent size, however the bathroom was tiny with no fan or window therefore there was always a damp and musty smell in it. Also there was no shower curtain so the water went over the sink area every time it was used. As others have mentioned, there weren't enough beds around the pool or on the beach, however this wasn't...
I have visiting this hotel for many years and have been very happy, the staff are very nice and friendly ( especially Poppy in the Sky Bar) . The main problem over the last few years has been the pool area and the sun bed reservations. This year was particularly bad, there are signs regarding this issue saying if beds had towels on them they would be removed if no one appeared after 30 minutes. There...

We have had a lovely 10 days at the Elounda Orama - all the staff are so helpful and welcoming - our room was lovely and spacious and the bed and pillows were excellent which is always a bonus - we had a large balcony with added sunloungers which were a real treat and a lovely view of the sea and Spinalonga in the distance - the dining area had stunning views of Elounda Bay which were a delight when...
The hotel is in a great location to the town and the staff were very friendly. I would not recommend the standard room as it was extremely small and felt claustrophobic, we did try to upgrade the day we got there but they were unfortunately fully booked, as a couple with two suitcases there was no room whatsoever and very limited hanging space so had to leave the suitcases open on the floor and climb...
This is our 2nd visit to Elounda Orama and we had a superior sea view room with stunning views of Elounda Bay. Room was spacious and clean, staff are friendly and accommodating. We stayed bed and breakfast and it consists of plenty of choice...although fruit juices were not fresh, the view whilst eating breakfast is so beautiful that I didn't mind 😅. The position of the hotel couldn't be better...
10/10 experience! I’m hesitant to leave this review because I don’t want to ruin it with too many people but hands down best hotel in Elounda. Everything from food, drinks, staff, stay, VIEWS, pool and finally distance to everything. You can walk everywhere in Elounda (don’t rent a car and don’t organize through hotel — should be $100 ride from Heraklion port/airport). We rented a bike to go over to...
Parking is an issue. The the evening stroll along the waterfront, literally across the street and a few stairs down is one of the best atmosphere spots in Crete.
Great centrally located hotel. Friendly staff, nice room, not all the facilities were working (after peak season I think) but very convenient for Elounda’s restaurants, shops and bars. Lovely!

First time for us on Crete and we couldn't have chosen a better resort. Upon arrival we were greeted from a very friendly and smiley porter who gave us a lift to our room once we checked în. Our family room was very clean, tidy and big enough to accomodate our family. Views.....simplu amazing. The kids went straight for water slides and The fun Park where they spent most of their time during our...
We had a lovely holiday here in a resort that is small enough to feel that you get to experience the real Greece. The water park keeps the kids happy and happy kids means happy parents! It was a well kept hotel with all the amenities that we needed, we also felt welcomed and looked after throughout our stay. I would recommend this to others.
We had a really great stay at this hotel in Crete. The location is perfect, set in a beautiful area and still close to everything you need. The town is just a short walk away, which made it super easy to wander around, grab dinner, or enjoy a drink without having to think about transport. If you want to explore more of the island, you can also hire a car directly through the hotel. It’s very convenient...
Summer 2025. Was a lovely summer. Our memories are HAPPY memories together with Elounda residence Hotel. The Greek night, karaoke night, disco night… everything for everyone! The food was very good and fresh. You can choose whatever you like , a lot of salads, hot buffet, sweets…. Every evening you can choose to eat at the main restaurant, taverna or to water park. Everything what we need it you can...
We stayed at Elounda Residence Water Park Hotel during October half term and had a great family holiday. The water park was a big hit with the kids and kept them entertained every day. The apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable, and the staff were really friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Food had plenty of choice and worked well for both adults and children. What a wonderful week spent in this lovely hotel, we couldn't find any fault. Our room (607) with its own infinity pool had amazing sea views that were so lovely to wake up to every morning, especially catching the sunrise, the room itself is spacious bright and clean. Wonderful and relaxing stay!!! We have absolutely loved our stay here! The staff are all wonderful - from the bar and restaurant staff to reception, everyone has been so friendly, helpful and kind and made us feel so at home and comfortable. Great room with lots of amenities The room was great, lots of space for our luggage and our toddler to run around. The private pool is the perfect size and the water was very clean. They cleaned our room daily. Staff are friendly and happy to help. I would definitely go back.
Very lovely property and a relaxing stay. The hotel was bright, clean, comfortable and extremely stylish. We particularly loved lounging by the salt water pool. The hotel had lovely dining options on property.
Such a beautiful hotel. Newly refurbished rooms with a peaceful pool/ bar area. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. You are treated like a friend. Shops and waterfront restaurants are within an easy 15 minute walk of the hotel, which is perfect.

The location and the hotel setting is gorgeous. Loved it! We were with our child and my in-laws. Everyone was impressed. We also could swim every day in the sea in the end of October - beginning November. I also want specifically to mention and thank the personnel. Despite we were in the end of the season, they were still so enthusiastic, so helpful, so polite and so simply nice after all these months...
We just spent our autumn holiday at Candia Park Village and can absolutely recommend it. Unfortunately, I had a medical emergency on the very first day, and all the staff were incredibly helpful and behaved in an exemplary manner. The hotel manager arrived quickly, introduced himself personally, called a doctor and then consulted with the doctor to determine where I could receive the best medical care...
There is so much Candia park gets right and we thought it was very good value for money. The reception staff are so welcoming, the rooms are great, simple, airy and light, very clean, thoughtful details like the outdoor folding down clothes airer, bowl of fruit and wine in the fridge, lots of hooks for drying things. The bathroom was exceptional. Beds and pillows a little hard for us and one of the...
We have just returned from our second stay at Candia Park Village, and once again it exceeded every expectation. Cute hotel with great views in the breakfast area, and nice staff. Also, the view of the hill at the semi-private pools is beautiful. The cleaning was done thoroughly daily in our room. As a nice bonus, there is a cute cat that comes to join at breakfast time every other day.
Wonderful stay in this hotel. We were half board. The staff is super pleasant and available. Very complete breakfast. Evening meals change every day (be careful, it's very generous for small and medium appetites 😉). Super nice swimming pool with a beautiful view of the sea, beach nearby. Free on-site parking. The only downside is a cramped shower (standard room with sea view). But that did not detract...
Great location and the view is awesome. Has a lot more potential to be honest. Rooms were very good although some details prove that they could be a lot cleaner and i cannot accept that in the price given the TV is not smart. Personally i hate when showers don’t have a door and the whole bathroom becomes soaking wet. Bathroom in particular needs more attention regarding a customers hygiene. Essence...
We had a great time here in off-season, my rating is based on the price and value you get. We had only Breakfast (Agios Nicolais has a tons of choices for lunch and dinner) that offered all we expected e.g. fresh fruit, eggs, omelette - the only drawback was the coffee and juices are not fresh and came from a kind of “instant” machine, but if you want a good coffee you can order one from the barista...

Nice quiet clean hotel set off a quiet bay about 35 mins walk from the centre of Agios Nikolaos. The staff were friendly and there was a good selection for breakfast. We were in main building with a garden view and the room was a good size with a mini fridge and kettle. The walk to Ag.Nik. is fine in daylight as there is a narrow pavement which turns into a promenade after about 15mins walk. At night...
Nice hotel outside the centre of town but close enough to still get in easily and with some local shops and tavernas close by as well. Restaurant is very expensive for what it is in the evenings and even the staff are clearly embarrassed about that. OTOH they did lay on a free hot meal for late arrivals which wasn't expected but was greatly appreciated. Staff were always polite and helpful. Breakfast...
Beautiful grounds. Very quiet and peaceful. Good breakfast and clean rooms. However no atmosphere whatsoever. Evening meal terrible and expensive. No music or entertainment in evening. Most of the staff lovely but some...
We stayed here following a 4 star holiday in Chania last year. Although the communal areas of the hotel are lovely, the pool areas and rooms need updating badly. We were given double rooms in the detached block which were cleaned with fresh towels daily. The storage was poor so we lived out of our cases and were woken through the night by loud air con fans (external not ours) and I heard others complaining...
Great location, clean throughout and staff are friendly. Manager is great. Our room was 206 in the main building. Lovely view and had everything we needed. Quiet location. Rooms were spotless and very comfortable, with a great sea view from the spacious balcony. However, we had to move rooms as our first room (205) was right next to an extremely noisy extractor on the outside wall, which was on throughout the night and prevented us from sleeping. The location is excellent, right next to the beach and many bars
Well located not far from the marina and the city center, this hotel seems to be surviving. The rooms are clean and the bedding is comfortable. In the bathroom, a tiny bathtub doubles as a shower. Using the shower inevitably floods the area around the bathtub. The plumber clearly has shares in a silicone factory, given the quantity used in this small room. To secure your valuables in the room, you...
The hotel is in a perfect location, within walking distance to the city of Agios Nikolaos and a number of beaches. It is situated in a quiet location but also very central. There is a municipal parking 1 min from the hotel with reasonable prices. I really enjoyed the buffet breakfast with very big variety and good quality of products.
Our room wasn't ready (for two people they had given us a room with 5 beds!). They gave us another room number 311. A real scandal, impossible to take a shower, the shower head is in the bathtub and the bathtub is very small. I am 1.53m tall and weigh 65kg, impossible to turn around without flooding everything. Also hello hygiene!!!! The pool closes at 5pm and the water is 19 degrees. Not at all

My review is based on what we paid for a family of 4, all inclusive, it was definitely worth the special offer price, however it is not a 4* hotel (though we didn’t pay 4* prices). We had an amazing time at the beach bar, but what truly made our experience unforgettable was Lambis. His name in Greek means “full of light,” and honestly, it couldn’t be more fitting—he absolutely shines. I do not generally leave reviews but feel that I have to for this hotel. It is an amazing place, and the main reason for this are the staff. They are truly outstanding. Great little place, hills and steps to contend with,so bear this in mind if booking, but they do have a golf buggy and are more than happy to assist you up and down driveway as long as you communicate with them, nice breeze around pool which is much needed with the heat, food was amazing,no complaints.
The best hotel we have stayed at. The staff were friendly and courteous, especially Albert, who seemed to be doing a range of roles from helping with baggage on arrival to waiting on food ect, a really helpful member of the team. He also had some great card tricks and helped us out with knowledge of the local area and recommended some places to visit. Gregory the bartender was another notable member...
The hotel was lovely, with an incredible view. However, we paid for a double, and we got a twin. The rooms could do with a bit of an update. The material was broken on the chairs, and the mesh blind. The bedding is old and had dirty patches. Also, I wouldn't advise staying here if you struggle with walking as it's on a very steep hill, that you have to walk up with your luggage. You can get taxis to...
Had a great time here, all the staff (especially the manager who works really hard yet was always upbeat, friendly and helpful) were fantastic and the food was enjoyable. The food was lovely, I found it all to be very tasty and got to try lots of new dishes. I haven't felt that relaxed in a long time. Thank you for a great two week stay!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and tidy. Greek food in buffet was rather good, the pasta and pizza a bit less impressive. House wines not really great, but good choice of other drinks, both with and without alcohol. A bit too few sun loungers. A bit out of town, something like 30 minutes walk. Absolutely amazing views from pool and dining areas.
Absolutely loved everything about this beautiful hotel. Our room had the most amazing view and was clean and a good size. The bed was a little hard but as soon as we mentioned this to reception, a mattress topper was added to.the bed which made a huge difference. The staff were all wonderful - all reception staff couldn't do enough to help you, Albert was great collecting and taking our luggage, restaurant...

Possibly the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. The facilities and the grounds are exquisite and the staff are above and beyond. The restaurant serves some of the most delicious food I have ever eaten.
The understated elegance that fully takes at advantage of the natural views that come with this location is truly stunning. We truly appreciated the food and the service I this amazing spot. Each experience met every expectation Our room may have been the nicest room we had stayed in as the combination of view and quality of room
This was our first time to this part of Crete and therefore Phaea Blue and we were not disappointed. We were greeted at the door and led into the lobby area where we were checked in and given a complimentary drink before being taken to our room by buggy. We absolutely loved our room (723) from which we could see the island of Spinalonga. The room included a huge bathroom, walk in closet and a good...
It was our second visit this year, and once again we enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing and peaceful holiday. We were pleasantly surprised that the hotel staff recognized us and made us feel as if we were returning to our second home. The restaurants were excellent, very good quality, offering delicious breakfasts with a small buffet and à la carte options , you must try the poached eggs with avocado and...
Misleading Marketing Negatives Marketing and website over sells. It is misleading. It is not a boutique hotel. It has the feel of a large hotel, which after a bit of research was the case. It rebranded and remarketed in 2024. Some parts of the complex feel a bit dated. The rooms have all the amenities but the decor is very early 2000’s and needs a refresh to justify the prices. The pool and surroundings...
Although we had a lovely holiday, Phaea blue was not what we expected when we booked a ‘boutique hotel’. It has the feel of a 200 room hotel and upon further research this was the case up until about 12 months ago when it went through a rebrand. The style of the website and awards for small hotel etc in our opinion are very misleading. In general there are many things on site that feel a bit dated...

The Bar was well packed, on the whole staff were ok. My only problem was, I booked a Massage/Spa, and the lady led me to believe she was going to give the massage, but she sent a man…., with no knowledge of who the masseuse was going to be…
Clean room and nice quiet room, all staff excellent and inviting, sea was warm, pools could have been warmer. The views from the property were very calming.
Great Base to Explore Elounda area Lovely staff Location of hotel very scenic A La Carte restaurants were excellent
This is a very large complex which is set very close to the sea and within a 30 minute walk of Elounda town & Square. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept and the staff are friendly. There are several pool areas and a beach side sunbathing Terrace with a nice but expensive pool bar. On balance, this being the end of the season, the whole place felt very tired and cleaning standards were...
This is a lovely hotel built in the style of a Greek village going down a hill to the sea. Our room was modern with a lovely sea view. The buffet breakfast and evening buffet meal in the main restaurant were very good as were the other restaurants. The staff were excellent and went out of their way to make out stay enjoyable.
A fabulous view across the bay this hotel did not disappoint. Great accommodation and we upgraded to the room with a private pool, well worth it. Great buffet breakfast with plenty of choice the alternative restaurants where an affordable treat with an extensive wine list offering both local and regional mainland options. I can recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Our family holiday at Elounda Peninsula Luxury Resort was honestly a dream from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, my husband, our two girls, and I felt completely looked after. The staff are amazing—so warm, friendly, and genuinely happy to help with anything. They really made us feel at home. The food was fantastic every single day. Lots of variety, always fresh, and so delicious. We...
Excellent suite (a beachfront junior suite with private pool). It was spacious and well-furnished, with a sitting are inside and table and chairs and loungers outside. Roomy walk-in wardrobe with plenty of drawers and coathangers (proper hangers with hooks) too. Nice bathroom. The hotel in general is quite nice though a bit bland. Lovely sandy beach with a grassy shore and plenty of well-maintained...
We had an amazing stay at the Elounda Peninsula. From the moment you arrive and are handed a glass of champagne while you sit on a sofa to check in, thank you Natalie, it is clear this is a luxury resort. The reception and cleaning staff were exceptional. The suites are very impressive with stunning views, beautiful closets, comfortable beds, luxurious bathrooms and products and huge rainfall showers...
We stayed at Elounda Peninsula in October as a family of three in room 3159, which had a private pool and split level. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised because the room was much better in person than in the photos on the hotel’s website. The photos were quite limited, so we didn’t know exactly what to expect, but the space and layout were far beyond what we imagined. We arrived late,...
We can't begin to say how nice of stay we had at Elounda Peninsula. Everything from the welcoming when we first arrived, to our great room, the service, cleanliness, and just overall friendliness of the staff. Maria our housekeeping service was excellent, and provided everything we needed from special pillows, to extra blanket, and bath accessories. The front desk staff (and I did not catch everyone...

Absolutely incredible hotel Friendly, helpful staff Comfortable and clean rooms with excellent showers Amazing view over the sea, especially at sunrise Great food and drink Good location near to Elounda Would highly recommend
Spent two glorious weeks here in October 2025. The hotel is spread across the hillside with inter-connecting walkways. There’s golf buggies that can be summoned via the phone to pick you up and take you to other areas. The staff are all super friendly, and do all they can to make your stay memorable. We stayed half board in a room with a private pool and terrace. I loved the interaction with staff...
I had to write a review for this amazing hotel! I had 5 days here with my grown up daughter. Everything was amazing! If you can, book the pool rooms…what a treat! The gym was well kitted out and not too busy. Breakfast was what you’d expect in an amazing hotel. The staff were all very attentive and looked after our every need and more. We loved walking to plaka and elounda. There are some amazing...
We recently stayed at this hotel as part of a family holiday, in which we shared many of the same observations as others, but our main call out is that our overall impression was hindered, and this very much came down to the moment we checked out. Positives: The views are truly exceptional — among the best we’ve experienced anywhere. Every angle offers a photo-worthy moment, and the hotel’s design...
As soon as we stepped into the hotel, we were swept away by its sophisticated charm. The place feels like a perfect blend of classic luxury and personal touches that make you feel instantly at home. The Versace-inspired interiors are jaw-dropping—every corner is a work of art, from the intricate details to the elegant finishes. And the location? Absolutely unreal. It’s right on Mirabello Bay, first...
Spent a lovely week at the hotel for my birthday. We had a great room with a private pool which was wonderful - the only downside was it was just above the main hotel restaurant which meant there was often cooking smells wafting sound when you were in the pool (mornings). Room was super clean. The staff we so helpful nothing was too much trouble, pretty much every answer started with yes, of course...
