So it was very loud in the morning and the doors in the hallways slam shut so that woke me up several times throughout the morning. Great views and beautiful outdoor areas. The standard of the rooms varies significantly and it is random what kind of room you will get. The room was clean but worn and the view was limited. Pool areas are clean and beautiful. Food is ok but made for a large crowd. Snacks in the pool areas are poor: only donats, small pies and some times watermelon. All inclusive is not worth of the price.

The hotel is in a perfect location, within walking distance to the city of Agios Nikolaos and a number of beaches. It is situated in a quiet location but also very central. There is a municipal parking 1 min from the hotel with reasonable prices. I really enjoyed the buffet breakfast with very big variety and good quality of products.

Our room wasn't ready (for two people they had given us a room with 5 beds!). They gave us another room number 311. A real scandal, impossible to take a shower, the shower head is in the bathtub and the bathtub is very small. I am 1.53m tall and weigh 65kg, impossible to turn around without flooding everything. Comfortable and clean rooms, friendly staff and great location. My friend and I stayed for a week, and enjoyed our stay. The only thing we missed was better choices of non-diary/gluten-free breakfast breakfast and better coffee. My friend is allergic and I need good coffee to awaken my soul in the morning. Cute hotel with great views in the breakfast area, and nice staff. Also, the view of the hill at the semi-private pools is beautiful. The cleaning was done thoroughly daily in our room. As a nice bonus, there is a cute cat that comes to join at breakfast time every other day.

This was my second year at the Lato Hotel Arriving in the early hours of the morning, the night manager hugged me. It really did feel as if I had never left. I cannot add much more to last year's review really. As a female solo traveller, it is essential to feel safe and I do at the Lato! Thank you to all the staff there who work so hard (especially the chambermaids) for another work so hard!

The staff are very friendly and helpful. We got a room with a lovely view. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is great too. Walking distance to everywhere in town and overall a great relaxing stay. There is a roof terrace that perhaps needs a bar but am not complaining. Would stay again for sure.

Had an excellent massage with Maria- i had the Cretan massage and it both relieved a lot of pressure and deeply relaxed me (she had to wake me up at the end). Highly recommend. My kids also had the kids massage and loved it! They had the chocolate and strawberry massages and the spa went out of its way to accomodate my 3 kids to ensure no one was ever alone.

The pool is lovely and clean with plenty of sunbeds for everyone (the hotel open the pool and give out fresh towels at 10am - which meant no reserving of sunbeds!). The beach is pretty, and safe for swimming. All staff were welcoming and friendly. Our apartment was very clean, in fact the whole resort is spotless, and incredibly pretty with flowers...

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel on the beach and within easy walking distance from the centre of Agios Nikolaos. The hotel is delightfully set with modern stone built bedroom units clustered on each side of a small valley leading down to the sea. There are two large pools (and a smaller one) with plenty of sunbeds and parasols; also nice shady areas for those wishing to avoid the sun...

Beautiful location, excellent hospitality and wonderful people, especially in the restaurant, the service is amazing! Very nice hotel! The food is delicious but a little salty! The breakfast that Mrs. Thalia made us was excellent! The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff is very helpful. I am very happy. I highly recommend it and I will definitely come back again.

Hotel is perfectly located on the beach and 10 minute walk to town. Room was very comfortable with great views. Had half board and food was very good. Plenty to choose from good variety. All staff were very friendly and helpful particularly Eleni and Georgios in the restaurant. The reception staff were very helpful and were able to arrange a late checkout despite being fully booked. This hotel is well situated for a ten minute walk into Agios Nikaloas yet quieter than the town. The hotel architecture is lovely as the bungalows are built into the landscape. Our rooms had a side sea view which afforded a good view of the sea and mountains. The staff were friendly and helpful. Spyrios in the restaurant gets a particular mention!
