Town loads of fabulous restaurants looking over the sea, only 10 mins walk from hotel

We are very happy here. We have been coming already 40 times. People are very friendly and it is just as coming home. We already booked our holidays for 2026

You’ll find sunbeds on the sand, as well as on the large green areas with grass and trees which provides natural shade

Excellent! The hotel is fabulous; staff amazing especially Anna Maria, she is the best , tries so hard to make your holiday the best, we love coming here

Breakfast lovely, fantastic view looking over the sea, so relaxing ! Beach lovely, loads of Fish swimming around your feet! Always lots of sunbeds

There is an indoor swimming pool and gym right near the beach. The only downside for us was that it was just over an hour away from the airport costing around 100euro

My room had a fantastic sea view so the upgrade was wonderful as my previous room was a Mountain View. Private beaches and lovely pool. The staff were all exceptional. The food in the restaurants was also excellent

All in all, an amazing experience in a beautiful part of Crete and I would highly recommend this resort to anyone who wants to unplug from their everyday and totally relax in beautiful surroundings

We were upgraded to Elounda Beach from Elounda Palace as we were told that the Palace was closing on 23 October & our stay was until 26 October

I would opt for the breakfast only package - there are a plethora of decent places to eat in nearby villages and towns and you’ll not be tied into dining at the hotel every evening

There is no bar scene as such - it’s all pretty quiet by 12, which suited us but if you are used to a more raucous atmosphere I’d suggest somewhere else

We stayed at this resort for 10 nights in mid September and thoroughly enjoyed it - the setting is glorious , the staff are all fantastic and helpful

Our kids absolutely loved the pool – we could hardly get them out of it! The buffet food was always fresh and delicious

A magnificent location with excellent service. The hotel staff is very courteous and serviced. A pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. It is highly recommended to take a room with a private pool

A Truly Amazing Stay – Like Paradise! We’ve just returned from an incredible stay at this hotel as a family of four from Scotland, and we’re already missing it! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm, friendly smiles from the staff, who couldn’t have been more helpful or welcoming

if i could live in this hotel I would. the beach is stunning, staff is kind and helpful, and the rooms are spacious and clean

Their kindness made a wonderful first impression and set the tone for the rest of our stay. The hotel itself is spotless and beautifully maintained, with stunning views that made it feel like a slice of paradise

If we could suggest one small improvement, it would be to add themed nights for a bit more variety – but honestly, we were more than happy with the quality and selection each day

Location in is amazing set in the hills so the views are incredible, we booked a room with pool, but point to note £60euros per day to heat it, which was a bit disappointing, however the room was large and very comfortable, the bedroom is separated by a partition so there is a lot of lights at night from security lights

The overall design of the hotel is beautifully done – classy, modern furnishings and attention to detail throughout, from bedrooms to poolside bars, restaurants, gym and yoga suite

There is a free shuttle service to a private section of the beach which is pebble but it us decked and really comfy bed and full bar service

The staff so friendly and welcoming and not intrusive. Our room was amazing and watching sunrise was incredible. I had the BEST head, neck, shoulder and back massage with Eleni, she has magical fingers!!! Thank you ☺️

Well, what can I say about this beautiful hotel. It's my 2nd time to visit this year, first time with my husband and kids and second time with my mum and we were welcomed back like family

Amazing hotel and it is very family oriented, the staff were exceptional ( Georgia, Ismail from the hotel , TUI staff ( Louis and Stasha ), plenty of pools and very excellent water slides, the food was delicious and the main restaurant location and view is awesome

What a fabulous week we've had. Just using the free courtesy room to freshen up before the coach trip to the airport then back to the UK. Great food. Great refreshments. Great pools. Amazing staff. I can't fault it.

Breakfast buffet is really good. There is always meat, which are gaining as you want, and not as the Turks under the painting. There is practically no beach but has a pool

Really well maintained with friendly and polite staff. Food areas were immaculate with a good range of food. We were there for the last week of the season so a few amenities were not open

If we had paid full price then we would have been a bit miffed. If you are you going on the water slides use a ring or lilo. The joins on the slides rip you to bits!

During our stay, our teenagers took a golf lesson, and everyone enjoyed a massage. The pool, the beach, and the views are all stunning—it’s a place where you naturally slow down and enjoy every moment

29 years ago we honeymooned here. Time passed and we finally found our way back. It has only become better one better. Our room had a private pool with stunning views

The beach is quite small and the shade of the umbrellas may be insufficient at times, but there is an area under the olive trees that I particularly loved. A few spots on the cliffs are simply spectacular

She accommodated any requests with a genuine caring attitude. Hotel has several restaurant options if you don’t want to leave and explore the island. Highly recommend the Italian a Japanese restaurants

Private beach is peaceful, with a fun bar area. Thomas and crew will get you favorite cocktail and some finger foods

The location, while not offering the very best view of Mirabello Bay and Spinalonga Island – which lies further north – is still breathtaking and its most fascinating feature in my opinion is the secluded, elegant, cozy, reserved, and quiet atmosphere

Also in the bathroom there is no curtain, after showering the whole floor wet. From hotel to sea beach is a narrow lane where a mess

Great little place,hills and steps to contend with,so bear this in mind if booking,but they do have a golf buggy and are more than happy to assist you up and down driveway as long as you communicate with them,nice breeze around pool which is much needed with the heat,food was amazing,no complaints

Gregory the bartender was another notable member of staff, as well as the manager, who was always on hand to help. Overall the staff really make this place feel special. The views from this place were incredible

A great sunrise in the morning and beautiful views of the mountains across Mirabello Bay. The food tasted amazing, handmade and fresh. The chef at this hotel makes a wide range of delicious meals

They are a family of staff and work thier socks off ! I can’t mention them all by name but they made our holiday an absolute pleasure ! I can’t than thank them enough for caring about us which is so lost these days in hospitality, kindness wins !!!!!

The staff were friendly and courteous, especially Albert, who seemed to be doing a range of roles from helping with baggage on arrival to waiting on food ect, a really helpful member of the team

We were upgraded on arrival to a sea view room with jacuzzi. Can’t wait to try Makris tonight

The meals were fantastic, tasty, fresh and superbly displayed. Quite honestly spoilt for choice! The grounds, pool, beach and surrounding areas were beautifully maintained

The beach area is rather lovely and designed to be safe for children - shallow, gently shelving sand - you have to go out a long way to get out of tour depth. Staff are friendly and well trained

It is impossible to get away from Piped Pop Muzak ! - not just in the hotel bars and restaurants but outside too and even at the beach. This is also true of most bars and tavernas in the area

This is an amazing hotel with superb staff, food, location and very comfy rooms. Butterfly was our host cleaner. When we arrived late she arranged two swans on the bed made from towels with flower petals across the bed

The kitchen had organised a meal for us with prosecco drinks, chocolates and turkish delight. The staff in the restaurant were so attentive and interesting to talk to. Particularly Adhul and Giorgio serving us outside

It operates 3 times weekly, and it is not only delicious but also a good opportunity to meet and mingle with one's fellow guests, as the seating is at a long wooden table, and with the chefs

The understated elegance that fully takes at advantage of the natural views that come with this location is truly stunning. We truly appreciated the food and the service I this amazing spot

We didn't really use the beach, but there looked to be plenty of sun loungers. The beach is big pebbles so would recommend taking rubber shoes for getting in and out of the water

) and Elounda about a 40 minute walk - fine during the day, but probably not to be recommended in the dark as pavement missing in places. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at Phaea Blue again if we returned to the area

We didn't eat lunch or dinner at the hotel. It's true that the hotel is set into the hillside and for some people this may be an issue, but the buggy service is readily available if needed

The restaurants were excellent, very good quality, offering delicious breakfasts with a small buffet and à la carte options , you must try the poached eggs with avocado and toasted bread

The new sky deck bar and pool is a great addition, the views are incredible. We had B&B which suited us, as there are many restaurants within a 5 min walk

We had a jet 2 week holiday at this lovely hotel. We had a superior grove room, which was well equipped and spacious but lacking in a view. I think the main building has the better views, but much smaller rooms

Great hotel and staff. Stayed 12 nights. Great views and right across from beach. Has own decent size pool on 4th floor. Rooms air conditioned, not a lot of storage but my wife and I managed to unpack most things.

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at this beautiful hotel we booked here as attending a family wedding nearby , staff couldn’t do enough for you. Couldn’t fault anything about this hotel

There is their private shingle beach across the road which holds about 20 sun beds, of which nearly half were reserved by selfish people for longer than the permitted 30 minutes

The hotel was in a great location, right on the (shingle) beach. Our room was a decent size, however the bathroom was tiny with no fan or window therefore there was always a damp and musty smell in it

There are sunbeds round the pool and you do not get bombarded with loud booming music all day

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and there were plenty of loungers for all. A few minutes walk into Elounda the location was great Rooms had a mini fridge and the beds were comfortable

Ideally located both for Elounda itself and the peninsula where you have some wonderful wilder beaches. Didn't eat in the hotel much but had breakfast once and dinner once, both of which were excellent value

Superb views, great standards of cleanliness, rooms absolutely everything you'd expect or more for a hotel in this range

This is our second time in Elounda and our first stay here but if we come back again, we won't look anywhere else

The rooms are modestly appointed yet well-maintained, featuring a pleasant outdoor area suitable for enjoying refreshments or light snacks. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to accommodate your needs

Everything about it oozed elegance and the private terrace and pool were just magical, not to mention the view. The pool remained warm throughout our stay and was so very welcoming after a day out exploring

We really loved that the seats everywhere (lounges and restaurants) were always really comfortable! The food was excellent, breakfast had endless choice and even the evening buffets were plentiful and always fresh and tasty

We thought the beach was just perfect, nice ambiance, great snacks and drinks and travelling as a couple, we appreciated the 'quiet' zone. You don't need to cross the road to access the beach, which is a private beach

I had a look at the spa and it looked wonderful, with a pool, jacuzzi, couples treatments and steam/sauna

The bed was super comfy and there was AC and ceiling fans in every room. I was a little apprehensive before going as I knew the resort was very large and built on either sides of a hill

Elounda is beautiful and we walked to the lovely little village of Plaka and got on a boat over to Spinalonga - a total must see. Only an hour from Heraklion airport, a pleasant drive

Comfortable, well equipped, and perfectly clean. The sea view was fantastic, overlooking the swiming pool and the coast. Our room was in a good state of renovation

There are many sun loungers for different tastes of staying in the sun. In the morning at dawn, everything is treated with disinfectant solutions. The rooms are excellent, nothing special, but cozy

Comfortable, spacious, quiet, pretty garden, nice landscape, everything clean, delicious and varied food, very friendly and helpful staff, good Wifi, wide choice of TV channels

The (artificial) sand beach is quite small, but was enough for the number of guests at the time. Terraces with comfortable sun loungers next to the beach. I had a bungalow with sea view

I appreciate that a good choice of local greek and crete specialities is available in addition to the usual things one gets everywhere. A range of dishes are freshly cooked all the time, some in live cooking

I see this as a consequence of the spacious setting in a pretty landscape. 50 minutes walk to Elounda town center, no bus connection. All staff is very friendly and helpful

The hotel beach is neglected and old. It was unusable and old, and we also had to constantly fight off spiders and cockroaches

Spent two glorious weeks here in October 2025. The hotel is spread across the hillside with inter-connecting walkways. There’s golf buggies that can be summoned via the phone to pick you up and take you to other areas

The staff are all super friendly, and do all they can to make your stay memorable. We stayed half board in a room with a private pool and terrace

The taxi back was €10 so good value. Defo take cash as some restaurants wouldn’t take card. We would definitely return to this fabulous place

I loved the interaction with staff and other guests at breakfast and dinner. Food was varied and of good quality

I had to write a review for this amazing hotel! I had 5 days here with my grown up daughter. Everything was amazing! If you can, book the pool rooms…what a treat! The gym was well kitted out and not too busy

You can choose whatever you like , a lot of salads, hot buffet, sweets…. Every evening you can choose to eat at the main restaurant, taverna or to water park. Everything what we need it you can find and eat

We got one of the new rooms and it was really nice, it was close to the restaurant/pool and had a beautiful view of the sea. Getting to the restaurant is just a short walk what makes for a pleasant morning stretch

The water park keeps the kids happy and happy kids means happy parents! It was a well kept hotel with all the amenities that we needed, we also felt welcomed and looked after throughout our stay

Everything we needed was there and well taken care of. The staff really made the difference. They were absolutely fantastic, friendly, helpful, and always smiling. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests

If you want to explore more of the island, you can also hire a car directly through the hotel. It’s very convenient and made discovering Crete simple and stress-free, definitely a big plus

We stayed at Elounda Residence Water Park Hotel during October half term and had a great family holiday. The water park was a big hit with the kids and kept them entertained every day

We stayed at Elounda Peninsula in October as a family of three in room 3159, which had a private pool and split level

The private beaches are probably the best on the island, with soft sand and wave breakers that keep the water calm and peaceful. It made for the most relaxing days by the sea

Lunch service from the beach chairs wasn’t up to the same standard as the rest of the hotel—the menu was limited, food and smoothies were not great, and alcohol options were lacking

The photos were quite limited, so we didn’t know exactly what to expect, but the space and layout were far beyond what we imagined. We arrived late, and the staff were kind, patient, and incredibly accommodating

The children’s pool is gently heated and perfect for little ones, and there was plenty to do around the grounds. We didn’t end up using the creche much because we were happy just spending time together on site

The hotel is in a good position on the sea front it is very well maintained and clean. The room was very spacious and clean

This year was our 8th time here. Once again we had the best of holidays. Everyone was so helpful and welcoming. The food was all made freshly and very good. The bar was always accommodating and the views spectacular

I would have no problem in recommending these apartments, with sufficient sunbeds , very accomodating staff and a very enjoyable holiday. Our grateful thanks to all for their efforts

I wish I had her stamina! Elounda Boat Trips: A shout out to Peter, who manages the boat trips (which is a must). He is full of local knowledge and suggested some lovely authentic Greek restaurants

Although it started with a longer journey than we would have liked from the airport, we were met by Yannis at the bar. He welcomed us and took our cases up to the room

The sunset cruise is always a highlight of the holiday and yes we are going again next year

Had a great room with amazing views, great atmosphere room very clean and comfortable, very quiet service amazing always friendly and kind, the amenities were basic but enough for us, the pool was big enough for a swim and the eating area and bar was good

Booked a 2 week self catering holiday at the end of the season with TUI on a late deal. We really enjoyed our time there and everything about the place is superb. Great size apartment and cooking facilities if required

WE loved the whole holiday, the cost for food was cheaper than the rest rest of Greece the town was so friendly and with great restaurant's and bars, we had two boat trips one with Poppys Boat which was fabulous, the hotel gave us a great time and we met some amazing people our experience was great everyday

Absolutely loved walking into Plaka and Elounda and exploring the surrounding area. A family run business who go out of their way to make you feel welcome, nothing was too much trouble for Anna

Just got back from a lovely weeks holiday in Elounda. Tasmania village was the perfect place to stay with amazing views and a great location

Air conditioning is available in the living area and bedroom, bathrobes, slippers, a safe, a hairdryer, a drying line and pegs, a choice of pillows, fresh beach towels every day, a Nespresso coffee machine, the list goes on!! There is also a spotless shower and changing area and lockers available to leave your luggage if you have a late flight

Perfectly located – peaceful and quiet, yet just a short walk to the center of Elounda. The hotel is small and charming, with a great pool, excellent food, and a very relaxing atmosphere
