Cheapest wine in the buffet restaurant was $38, Spa was out of action and had been closed for a long period. Infinity pool filthy and not fit for use. Love Elounda but would never return to this hotel

We booked again for the Elounda Bay Palace, staying for 7 nights in June and looking forward to our 7th visit. We were given a lovely reception upon arrival as always, quick check in progress and were shown to our room

We hoped to book one with a private pool, but not this time. Only just moved house, so that’s life. Looking forward to our 8th visit, and the Cretan sun and hospitality

We had a side sea view which was different, but a good view towards the sea. Very clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed. Very close to the restaurant, which was convenient and access to the beach

The bar also serves the beach ate during the day, cocktails on your sun lounger are a must. The grounds of the hotel are vast, beautifully maintained, and the beach is spotless with plenty of beds and parasols available

Breakfast and dinner was excellent with a variety every night, and always hot and well prepared. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and it makes our stay so much more enjoyable

Lovely hotel in a great location. Walking distance to Elounda, plenty of entertainment from reps that clearly love their jobs, and beautiful views. We had a shared private pool which was lovely

Sunbeds on the terrace area near the main pool would also improve on the morning sunbed reserving

This is a lovely hotel in a peaceful location, our room was perfect, overlooking pool and sea view. Spacious room with comfortable beds

We went at the start of the season and it was peaceful, the entertainment was outstanding for the kids and our little one loved it. The food was great, the drinks and staff were wonderful

The only downfall fall is that the commute from the airport with a young child is fairly long. Just be aware if you are travelling with small children

We had two balconies but only set of furniture 🤷🏻‍♀️ Food: This was very mixed; breakfast was great, lunch in the snack bar was great but the restaurant wasn’t, the evening meals in the restaurant were generally ok and the two al la carte were really good

The staff are lovely and attentive the facilities high quality and well maintained. There is always a club car to take you around the resort if you wish but a stroll through the grounds is pleasant too

I recently stayed at the sister property, Domes Aulus Zante, and I have to say that the staff, location, and service exceeded all expectations here too. Definately you should visit.

We had an amazing time at the beach bar, but what truly made our experience unforgettable was Lambis. His name in Greek means “full of light,” and honestly, it couldn’t be more fitting—he absolutely shines

The beach bar itself is wonderful—the service is excellent, and all the staff behind the bar are friendly and attentive. But Lambis stands out in the most special way

Without a shadow of a doubt, Lambis deserves the award for the happiest person you’ll ever meet. His smile is constant, genuine, and comes straight from the heart

All the staff in the restaurants were also amazing, Georgie at breakfast and the lady who got my olive oil every morning! I cannot remember all the names but all staff were so good. The buggy guys were brilliant

Our kids absolutely loved the pool – we could hardly get them out of it! The buffet food was always fresh and delicious

A magnificent location with excellent service. The hotel staff is very courteous and serviced. A pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. It is highly recommended to take a room with a private pool

A Truly Amazing Stay – Like Paradise! We’ve just returned from an incredible stay at this hotel as a family of four from Scotland, and we’re already missing it! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm, friendly smiles from the staff, who couldn’t have been more helpful or welcoming

Their kindness made a wonderful first impression and set the tone for the rest of our stay. The hotel itself is spotless and beautifully maintained, with stunning views that made it feel like a slice of paradise

If we could suggest one small improvement, it would be to add themed nights for a bit more variety – but honestly, we were more than happy with the quality and selection each day

This was our favorite place to stay on our two week trip around Greece. The hotel itself is beautiful and very clean. The room was amazing also and the bathroom was very nice

Our rooms were cleaned multiple times daily, including an evening turn down service. Our pool was spotless and the water was pleasantly refreshing. The pictures of this resort and the rooms truly do not do it justice

The location was amazing! It was an easy walk to the main pool (which we only used once since we had our own pool), the bar, breakfast restaurant and lobby area. My bathroom was 200+ square feet

We stayed in a 2 bedroom superior bungalow with a private pool (Bungalow 1/1A)

We visited the beach bar and chairs and loved them but really found the chairs on the rocks on the edge of the ocean were our shangri-la! We ate at all of the resorts restaurants as well as several of the sister resorts, all easily accessible by the resort's shuttle boat and the food was scrumptious at every one of them

The atmosphere at each restaurant is completely different, as is the menu, so be sure to venture out and try them all! The staff went over the top to accommodate every request, leaving us special gifts and treats in our rooms

Everything was a gorgeous marble, floors and walls alike. The closets were so elaborate and beautifully appointed my sister took pictures of how they were laid out as she was getting ready to do a remodel of hers

There isn't much around either, so if you're happy to chill by the pool with delicious food, then this is your hotel

The staff were all wonderful - all reception staff couldn't do enough to help you, Albert was great collecting and taking our luggage, restaurant staff were welcoming and friendly, Vasilikis who ran the pool bar in the day was always smiling and friendly and Simos who ran the bar in the evening knew what we drank and looked after us every evening

Great little place,hills and steps to contend with,so bear this in mind if booking,but they do have a golf buggy and are more than happy to assist you up and down driveway as long as you communicate with them,nice breeze around pool which is much needed with the heat,food was amazing,no complaints

A bit out of town, something like 30 minutes walk. Absolutely amazing views from pool and dining areas

They are a family of staff and work thier socks off ! I can’t mention them all by name but they made our holiday an absolute pleasure ! I can’t than thank them enough for caring about us which is so lost these days in hospitality, kindness wins !!!!!

Gregory the bartender was another notable member of staff, as well as the manager, who was always on hand to help. Overall the staff really make this place feel special. The views from this place were incredible

Possibly the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. The facilities and the grounds are exquisite and the staff are above and beyond. The restaurant serves some of the most delicious food I have ever eaten.

We didn't eat lunch or dinner at the hotel. It's true that the hotel is set into the hillside and for some people this may be an issue, but the buggy service is readily available if needed

) and Elounda about a 40 minute walk - fine during the day, but probably not to be recommended in the dark as pavement missing in places. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at Phaea Blue again if we returned to the area

We didn't really use the beach, but there looked to be plenty of sun loungers. The beach is big pebbles so would recommend taking rubber shoes for getting in and out of the water

Think there is a pier too with steps for easier access for swimming. I did note the sunshades are fixed and quite small, but I guess most people wouldn't be bothered by this

Fantastic breakfasts you can have sitting next to the beach if you want. Rooftop pool was lovely, but not many sunbeds. Our room was great with a fridge, balcony and great shower. No hesitation in recommending it

My friends and I stayed here for a week at the very end of the season and had the most fantastic time. The rooms were nice and clean, the staff were super friendly and great fun too

The new sky deck bar and pool is a great addition, the views are incredible. We had B&B which suited us, as there are many restaurants within a 5 min walk

We had a jet 2 week holiday at this lovely hotel. We had a superior grove room, which was well equipped and spacious but lacking in a view. I think the main building has the better views, but much smaller rooms

The breakfasts are served in the ground floor restaurant and overlooking the bay. Everyone was very welcoming, we feel that we had found a little gem of a hotel and will be back

The food in the restaurant was delicious and we absolutely loved the rooftop bar. Elounda is the most fabulous place to visit, full of charm and friendly people

This is also the case for pool towels they are only changed once every three days

We have had a lovely 10 days at the Elounda Orama - all the staff are so helpful and welcoming - our room was lovely and spacious and the bed and pillows were excellent which is always a bonus - we had a large balcony with added sunloungers which were a real treat and a lovely view of the sea and Spinalonga in the distance - the dining area had stunning views of Elounda Bay which were a delight when...

The position of the hotel couldn't be better, the short stroll to the beach in the mornings was one of my favourite things. We didn't really use the pool, so cant really comment on it

I think the hotel would benefit from an overall refresh, painting etc and the pool to be cleaned more often, although the water was clear there was green mould build up around the sides as well as the white pool loungers

We were also only given two towels which are only changed once every three days, it would have been nice to get a hand towel so you aren't using the one towel for everything

Wi-Fi was okay, but not amazing. Setting up a Fire Stick on the TV was a struggle and staff couldn’t help; limited built-in streaming. We were upgraded to a Superior room with a private pool, which was a real highlight

Also, the bright fire exit sign in the room could disturb light sleepers. The beach bar and included sunbeds are a fantastic touch. The hotel felt peaceful and relaxing despite being full

Firstly it is very windy on this part of the coast, and sadly as a shade lover, this made it difficult as the shades by the pool are very heavy and not able to move, and by your own private pool, there’s no moveable shade - and the shade screens they have beautifully built do not give full shade

Location in is amazing set in the hills so the views are incredible, we booked a room with pool, but point to note £60euros per day to heat it, which was a bit disappointing, however the room was large and very comfortable, the bedroom is separated by a partition so there is a lot of lights at night from security lights

The overall design of the hotel is beautifully done – classy, modern furnishings and attention to detail throughout, from bedrooms to poolside bars, restaurants, gym and yoga suite

And the little pool at the villa was even colder. You can pay to heat it but the daily cost is high (which I know ties in with the sustainability objectives - so totally understandable)

There are sunbeds round the pool and you do not get bombarded with loud booming music all day

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and there were plenty of loungers for all. A few minutes walk into Elounda the location was great Rooms had a mini fridge and the beds were comfortable

Ideally located both for Elounda itself and the peninsula where you have some wonderful wilder beaches. Didn't eat in the hotel much but had breakfast once and dinner once, both of which were excellent value

Superb views, great standards of cleanliness, rooms absolutely everything you'd expect or more for a hotel in this range

This is our second time in Elounda and our first stay here but if we come back again, we won't look anywhere else

Mismatched chairs in the room, no full length mirror. The towels could have been a bit bigger, but we're changed when we left them on the floor. Beds were made every day, but not always changed

Rooms are regularly cleaned with fresh towels and bedding every couple of days. Also, complimentary shampoos, conditioners, and moisturisers are replenished when used

The owners, Kostas and Natalia, are constantly improving their offering year on year, and have plans for more apartments with their own private pools for 2026 which sounds exciting

The food at the pool bar is all freshly made with a good selection of Greek and other warm and cold snacks

I have reviewed Elounda Heights before but felt it worthy of another. It is a very special place with a unique atmosphere run by a small but tight team of 10 people who are all super friendly

There is an on-site restaurant and bar where meals are served every evening (except Sundays), and a daily special is created by the legend that is Vangelis. There is an ala carte menu too

You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay at Elounda Heights, and you are quite likely to re-book once you have stayed as the number of repeat guests are testament to

Clean room and nice quiet room, all staff excellent and inviting, sea was warm, pools could have been warmer. The views from the property were very calming.

A fabulous view across the bay this hotel did not disappoint. Great accommodation and we upgraded to the room with a private pool, well worth it

There are several pool areas and a beach side sunbathing Terrace with a nice but expensive pool bar. On balance, this being the end of the season, the whole place felt very tired and cleaning standards were not good

The buffet breakfast and evening buffet meal in the main restaurant were very good as were the other restaurants. The staff were excellent and went out of their way to make out stay enjoyable

There's a ton of activities to do both at the hotel and nearby, and so many options for dining (we loved Sumosan, Old Mill, and Greek Opa night). Even the room service was consistently very good

Our family holiday at Elounda Peninsula Luxury Resort was honestly a dream from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, my husband, our two girls, and I felt completely looked after

It was gorgeous—spacious, comfortable, and came with a heated private pool overlooking the most beautiful bay with crystal-clear water. Waking up to that view every morning felt unreal

We spent so much time in the pool, it was just perfect. Our girls also loved the kids club. The team there were brilliant—super kind, fun, and full of great activities each day

Lovely sandy beach with a grassy shore and plenty of well-maintained sunbeds. We enjoyed sunbathing and swimming there every day. However the dining options were very poor

Excellent suite (a beachfront junior suite with private pool). It was spacious and well-furnished, with a sitting are inside and table and chairs and loungers outside

The staff are all super friendly, and do all they can to make your stay memorable. We stayed half board in a room with a private pool and terrace

I had to write a review for this amazing hotel! I had 5 days here with my grown up daughter. Everything was amazing! If you can, book the pool rooms…what a treat! The gym was well kitted out and not too busy

It’s right on Mirabello Bay, first row, with Spinalonga Island staring back at you and the sea so close it feels like it’s part of the property. The pool area is nothing short of spectacular—huge, peaceful, and pristine

The overall cleanliness throughout the property was also great. Rooms, public areas, and even the pool spaces were spotless and clearly well cared for (the beach could do with a little maintenance)

We had a brilliant stay here the food was brilliant with a different theme every night the pool was lovely and was always easy to get sunbeds my kids enjoyed the water slides ,mini golf along with the football basketball volleyball and table tennis

You can choose whatever you like , a lot of salads, hot buffet, sweets…. Every evening you can choose to eat at the main restaurant, taverna or to water park. Everything what we need it you can find and eat

The staff very friendly, the reception close to you, the manager open for everyone. Every day they changed our towels and cleaned the room

The water park keeps the kids happy and happy kids means happy parents! It was a well kept hotel with all the amenities that we needed, we also felt welcomed and looked after throughout our stay

This was a poor start to the holiday. The hotel is usual Greek standard, nice towels and a spectacular view. The owner has an entourage of returning guests who she holds counsel with all day in the bar

Booked a 2 week self catering holiday at the end of the season with TUI on a late deal. We really enjoyed our time there and everything about the place is superb. Great size apartment and cooking facilities if required

Had a great room with amazing views, great atmosphere room very clean and comfortable, very quiet service amazing always friendly and kind, the amenities were basic but enough for us, the pool was big enough for a swim and the eating area and bar was good

We have been going to Tasmania village for the last 28/30 years and love Maria Anna and there families who always make customers very welcome this year we had a nasty lady who complained about everything and was very loud with her complaints which I’m sorry to say were unfounded and if she was unhappy with her 4 day stay Anna would have been more than accommodating to resolve anything I met...

WE loved the whole holiday, the cost for food was cheaper than the rest rest of Greece the town was so friendly and with great restaurant's and bars, we had two boat trips one with Poppys Boat which was fabulous, the hotel gave us a great time and we met some amazing people our experience was great everyday

The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavours and freshly prepared with care and a great bar full of cocktails, beers and soft drinks. The rooms were large, spacious, and had all the basics we needed

Kitchen facilities are poor, but then whilst we went self catering, we didn't anticipate cooking, so this wasn't an issue for us. The pool is small, but adequate as there was rarely people in it

If visiting in summer, ask for an apartment with AC in the bedroom. We did not have a chsnce to try the pool or the hammam but they looked lovely

The nearer ATMs charge five euros. Would have been 5 stars but for the pool

We had 2x ACs, one in the bedroom and the other in the living room (where the sofa bed is) but one of the 3 families only had an AC in the living room and not in the bedroom

The pool although not hugely big was still fine and the kids loved spending long afternoons in it. We opted to have lunch a couple of days again which were very tasty and reasonably priced

On the top of a hill roughly halfway Agios Nicolaos and Elounda center lies Adrakos. Nice apartments, good restaurant, two lovely dogs, a clean swimming pool and above all that the best views over sea of whole Crete

The room was very nice. I liked the welcome treats! The breakfast was very good and the views were beautiful. The pool area had a calming feel. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

The balcony area was comfortable with a secluded cushioned seated area where we would relax at night. We used the pool area a couple of times and had it to ourselves
