We booked again for the Elounda Bay Palace, staying for 7 nights in June and looking forward to our 7th visit. We were given a lovely reception upon arrival as always, quick check in progress and were shown to our room

We had a side sea view which was different, but a good view towards the sea. Very clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed. Very close to the restaurant, which was convenient and access to the beach

Breakfast and dinner was excellent with a variety every night, and always hot and well prepared. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and it makes our stay so much more enjoyable

We have always found the Elounda Bay Palace to be one of the best hotels in Elounda, and even though we have been to another in the early days of visiting Crete, we always came back to the Elounda Bay Palace, as we found everything as we wanted, such an nice atmosphere, relaxing place to unwind and forget about your stressful work life

The hotel, the service, the staff, and the beach – everything is five stars and more. We stayed for 10 days and regretted not staying longer. Check-in was handled by Danai, who was warm and professional

We have booked to return in early June this year 2026 and it will be our 8th visit. We have booked for my birthday again, but this one isn’t important this, that was last year

There is 2 mascots Captain T & Tui the robot who again my little girl just adored and they also do a healthy eating scheme which encouraged my daughter to eat super well this holiday in order for her to collect stickers and get a certificate! My review is based on what we paid for a family of 4, all inclusive, it was definitely worth the special offer price, however it is not a 4* hotel (though we didn’t pay 4* prices)

Where do I start? I need to mention the hotel itself, it’s beautiful and definitely lives up to its name ‘Elounda Breeze’ that breeze is very welcomed on the hot days that we had! It is very hilly so be prepared to walk but there are the gentlemen staff that can give you a lift in one of the carts (which my little girl enjoyed very much- especially sitting backwards)! Lovely hotel in a great location. Walking distance to Elounda, plenty of entertainment from reps that clearly love their jobs, and beautiful views. We had a shared private pool which was lovely

A couple of k’s walk down to the village but you could always grab a taxi. We rented a car which we parked at the hotel with no extra cost. Would definitely return to this hotel

I have allergies and am always nervous trusting others to cater for me particularly with cross contamination. I was very worried about having a buffet style restaurant

The staff are lovely and attentive the facilities high quality and well maintained. There is always a club car to take you around the resort if you wish but a stroll through the grounds is pleasant too

I recently stayed at the sister property, Domes Aulus Zante, and I have to say that the staff, location, and service exceeded all expectations here too. Definately you should visit.

We had an amazing time at the beach bar, but what truly made our experience unforgettable was Lambis. His name in Greek means “full of light,” and honestly, it couldn’t be more fitting—he absolutely shines

The beach bar itself is wonderful—the service is excellent, and all the staff behind the bar are friendly and attentive. But Lambis stands out in the most special way

Without a shadow of a doubt, Lambis deserves the award for the happiest person you’ll ever meet. His smile is constant, genuine, and comes straight from the heart

All the staff in the restaurants were also amazing, Georgie at breakfast and the lady who got my olive oil every morning! I cannot remember all the names but all staff were so good. The buggy guys were brilliant

A Truly Amazing Stay – Like Paradise! We’ve just returned from an incredible stay at this hotel as a family of four from Scotland, and we’re already missing it! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm, friendly smiles from the staff, who couldn’t have been more helpful or welcoming

Everything ran so smoothly, not a single detail was missed in the planning, and the day itself felt completely exclusive to us. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that the service was kept private for us

I could honestly write paragraphs about how grateful we are to her and the whole team. The food at the Borro restaurant was outstanding — the head chef and the kitchen team truly delivered something memorable

From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable — nothing was ever too much to ask, and the staff were always so accommodating not only to us but also to our wedding guests

If we could suggest one small improvement, it would be to add themed nights for a bit more variety – but honestly, we were more than happy with the quality and selection each day

This was our favorite place to stay on our two week trip around Greece. The hotel itself is beautiful and very clean. The room was amazing also and the bathroom was very nice

My sister and I traveled to Crete for an annual birthday trip. Neither of us had been to Greece before and Elounda Mare and Crete did not disappoint. I cannot say enough positive things about the resort

Our rooms were cleaned multiple times daily, including an evening turn down service. Our pool was spotless and the water was pleasantly refreshing. The pictures of this resort and the rooms truly do not do it justice

Everything was a gorgeous marble, floors and walls alike. The closets were so elaborate and beautifully appointed my sister took pictures of how they were laid out as she was getting ready to do a remodel of hers

And the service, from welcome, to servers to cleaning staff were courteous, helpful and friendly. Truly an amazing experience at every step and at every moment. And the facilities and grounds are impeccable

The location was amazing! It was an easy walk to the main pool (which we only used once since we had our own pool), the bar, breakfast restaurant and lobby area. My bathroom was 200+ square feet

The food was as extraordinary as the service - we came away feeling like everyone we encountered there is now a good friend! Highly recommend the traditional “pop up” dinner - which was absolutely spectacular

Possibly the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. The facilities and the grounds are exquisite and the staff are above and beyond. The restaurant serves some of the most delicious food I have ever eaten.

The understated elegance that fully takes at advantage of the natural views that come with this location is truly stunning. We truly appreciated the food and the service I this amazing spot

We didn't eat lunch or dinner at the hotel. It's true that the hotel is set into the hillside and for some people this may be an issue, but the buggy service is readily available if needed

We didn't really use the beach, but there looked to be plenty of sun loungers. The beach is big pebbles so would recommend taking rubber shoes for getting in and out of the water

We absolutely loved our room (723) from which we could see the island of Spinalonga. The room included a huge bathroom, walk in closet and a good sized balcony

We have had a lovely 10 days at the Elounda Orama - all the staff are so helpful and welcoming - our room was lovely and spacious and the bed and pillows were excellent which is always a bonus - we had a large balcony with added sunloungers which were a real treat and a lovely view of the sea and Spinalonga in the distance - the dining area had stunning views of Elounda Bay which were a delight when...

I would not recommend the standard room as it was extremely small and felt claustrophobic, we did try to upgrade the day we got there but they were unfortunately fully booked, as a couple with two suitcases there was no room whatsoever and very limited hanging space so had to leave the suitcases open on the floor and climb over them to get around

I think the hotel would benefit from an overall refresh, painting etc and the pool to be cleaned more often, although the water was clear there was green mould build up around the sides as well as the white pool loungers

We were also only given two towels which are only changed once every three days, it would have been nice to get a hand towel so you aren't using the one towel for everything

I would not say that our room was 4 stars but that may have been based on the bigger rooms that are available

The staff so friendly and welcoming and not intrusive. Our room was amazing and watching sunrise was incredible. I had the BEST head, neck, shoulder and back massage with Eleni, she has magical fingers!!! Thank you ☺️

Well, what can I say about this beautiful hotel. It's my 2nd time to visit this year, first time with my husband and kids and second time with my mum and we were welcomed back like family

The staff are wonderful nothing to much trouble, we stayed half board this is buffet style but top quality food, no completes at all

There is a free shuttle service to a private section of the beach which is pebble but it us decked and really comfy bed and full bar service

Firstly it is very windy on this part of the coast, and sadly as a shade lover, this made it difficult as the shades by the pool are very heavy and not able to move, and by your own private pool, there’s no moveable shade - and the shade screens they have beautifully built do not give full shade

Location in is amazing set in the hills so the views are incredible, we booked a room with pool, but point to note £60euros per day to heat it, which was a bit disappointing, however the room was large and very comfortable, the bedroom is separated by a partition so there is a lot of lights at night from security lights

The buffet breakfast and evening buffet meal in the main restaurant were very good as were the other restaurants. The staff were excellent and went out of their way to make out stay enjoyable

Great buffet breakfast with plenty of choice the alternative restaurants where an affordable treat with an extensive wine list offering both local and regional mainland options

Clean room and nice quiet room, all staff excellent and inviting, sea was warm, pools could have been warmer. The views from the property were very calming.

A fabulous view across the bay this hotel did not disappoint. Great accommodation and we upgraded to the room with a private pool, well worth it

This is a lovely hotel built in the style of a Greek village going down a hill to the sea. Our room was modern with a lovely sea view

Basic gym equipment/ unable to do weight training - poor gym for a 5star resort. Spa was incredible Dining options weren’t great and couldn’t order snacks to the sun loungers - not even a fruit salad.

Only two things are not at the level of the house: the gym is just a storage room where almost nothing is working and the place where the breakfast is served: needs an overhaul and get more up to date! Thank you for everything!

Our family holiday at Elounda Peninsula Luxury Resort was honestly a dream from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, my husband, our two girls, and I felt completely looked after

The indoor pool, sauna, and Kids Ark were great for the cooler end of season. Aspa at the Ark was so lovely. We had a wonderful time at this resort and it felt like a real treat and a lovely last blast of sunshine

Everywhere you look, it’s just beautiful—sparkling water, immaculate grounds, and such a calm atmosphere. Overall, we had the best time at Elounda Peninsula. It really is a little slice of paradise

We spent so much time in the pool, it was just perfect. Our girls also loved the kids club. The team there were brilliant—super kind, fun, and full of great activities each day

We’re already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommend for families looking for a luxurious, chilled, and memorable holiday in Crete!

I had to write a review for this amazing hotel! I had 5 days here with my grown up daughter. Everything was amazing! If you can, book the pool rooms…what a treat! The gym was well kitted out and not too busy

The staff are all super friendly, and do all they can to make your stay memorable. We stayed half board in a room with a private pool and terrace

The taxi back was €10 so good value. Defo take cash as some restaurants wouldn’t take card. We would definitely return to this fabulous place

I loved the interaction with staff and other guests at breakfast and dinner. Food was varied and of good quality

We recently stayed at this hotel as part of a family holiday, in which we shared many of the same observations as others, but our main call out is that our overall impression was hindered, and this very much came down to the moment we checked out

We definitely will be back and a big Thank you to all the staff, can not fault any of them especially Theo who drove us to our room and back to reception, giving us some information about Elounda and he even apologised as he said usually he likes to get to know us all by spending time with us but he and all the staff were very busy but we didn't mind

The water park keeps the kids happy and happy kids means happy parents! It was a well kept hotel with all the amenities that we needed, we also felt welcomed and looked after throughout our stay

Our family room was very clean,tidy and big enough to accomodate our family. The kids went straight for water slides and The fun Park where they spent most of their time during our stay

The variery and quality of the food was very nice and most important Greek style. We are looking forward to visitinh you soon Elounda Residence team

If you want to explore more of the island, you can also hire a car directly through the hotel. It’s very convenient and made discovering Crete simple and stress-free, definitely a big plus

By the way I am an easy sleeper

We stayed at Alikes for 2 nights only but it was long enough for us to feel it was a great choice. We were 3 families and my family had a larger apartment as we were 5

It really made the difference for us If you really need a proper beach, then Elounda beach is near the centre i. Note that the transfer didn't drive to the hotel and we were transferred to a taxi in the town centre

Great location, very friendly staff. Some things I would love to see improvement to come back again though, WIFI is pretty sketchy, and bed the mattress and bedding makes me roll over all the nights

Likewise going back, we went via a taxi to the church. Tip 1: Don't walk into town via the main road. Stick to the shoreline it's a lovely stroll. Tip 2: Try the Jungle Bar 50 yards away for food and drink

Kitchen facilities are poor, but then whilst we went self catering, we didn't anticipate cooking, so this wasn't an issue for us. The pool is small, but adequate as there was rarely people in it

Wonderful and relaxing stay!!! We have absolutely loved our stay here! The staff are all wonderful - from the bar and restaurant staff to reception, everyone has been so friendly, helpful and kind and made us feel so at home and comfortable

We can’t thank them enough!!! The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the food and drinks are 10/10!!! Cocktails are really delicious and unique, and the food is some of the best we’ve eaten all week - even beating many of the restaurants in town! Lovely views across the bay, and the pool area is so chill and relaxed

Great room with lots of amenities The room was great, lots of space for our luggage and our toddler to run around. The private pool is the perfect size and the water was very clean. Staff are friendly and happy to help

Very lovely property and a relaxing stay. The hotel was bright, clean, comfortable and extremely stylish. We particularly loved lounging by the salt water pool. The hotel had lovely dining options on property.

The staff are all friendly and attentive. We had a few lunches in the hotel, all incredibly tasty. The pool bar is a great place to enjoy cocktails, and listen to some falo music

The town is just a pleasant 20 min walk, where you'll find lots of sea front restaurants and bars to choose from. All in all a fantastic relaxing week in Crete!
