Arina Beach Resort

We loved our stay at the Arina Beach resort. After 3 weeks travelling around Europe, it was amazing to relax at an all inclusive resort. The staff were great and the food and drinks was better than we expected

He is amazing along with Alex on the bakery (lovely man), Aspa, Kathryn, and all the waitresses and waiters that can’t do enough for you. The Avra, restaurant has improved and is incredibly good

We booked a penthouse room as we had before, the rooms are well set out, with robes, slippers, iron facilities coffee machine, and a lovely welcome package of treats wine and a stocked fridge

Water still warm enough to swim in late October/early November - the food was a real highlight, particularly the buffet restaurant. Lots of variety and changed each day

Another welcome at the check in, which went very smoothly, and were well informed of the resort, and some changes that had been made. Then our luggage taken to our room

The bars are set out well Albi is great , along with all the others that work the main bars and pool bars, and of course I have to mention Marina she’s so lovely

Mitsis Rinela Beach Hotel

We found the swimming pool to be a little cold, but I suspect this was just that we were late in the season. The food at this hotel is delicious, especially the Italian and Steak restaurants

It was the perfect way to end a fun-filled day at the park. The Disney shows made us feel like we were part of the story — everything was colorful, fun, and full of joy. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations

The sun loungers are luxurious and comfortable, with plenty availability, and the views of the sea are beuatiful

The amenities were top-notch — especially the breakfast buffet, which offered a great variety of fresh and delicious options. One of the highlights of our trip was the Cuban show in the evening

The rest of the hotel is also beautiful, reflecting the same standard of upkeep. The Reception and main restaurant is a little dated in decor in comparison, but again, immaculately clean

The music, dancing, and energy were simply unforgettable! The performers were so talented, and the vibrant costumes and live band created such a lively, authentic Caribbean vibe

We enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really nice and came with a large variety of choices. The pool is relaxing and we really liked having the beach so close to the hotel.

Good location right on the beach, pool ok but very cold water, the sea was warmer I think… Busstop just a step away on the mainstreet that takes you straight to Heraklion or if u like to Agios Nikolaus

We’ve come here fore years and every year we come back to the beach at themis hotel. Kiki and sofia are always very friendly and welcoming. They offer the best service you can get. We are very happy to come back again

Kiki and Sofia were amazing people and made our holiday truly memorable, so polite and caring, there politeness and customer service were second to none

Very clean throughout & pool area is kept well-maintained too Drinks reasonably priced & lovely to relax in the bar area throughout the day Would definitely recommend if wanting a chilled, relaxing holiday at a small hotel with a great atmosphere

A very beautiful hotel. It is next to the beach and there is a pool where you can eat and drink whatever you want. Also it is very close to a bus station that helped a lot with public transportation

I stayed in this hotel and the vacation was beautiful. The hotel is next to the sea, the view is perfect, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is great

We really enjoyed staying here. The views are amazing and it was great being so close to the sea, literally just down the steps

For breakfast and dinner we had a buffet with a large selection of dishes and every day something new, very good and tasty food. Greek cuisine is great and very tasty

It was 30 degrees plus when we were there so it's a relief to have the sea breeze and to be able to cool off in the waves

The staff is perfect: empathetic, friendly, and welcoming, Nikos above all. Traditional buffet cuisine, comfortable and clean rooms, very "Greek" in appearance, and the sea view was relaxing and captivating (in our case)

A wonderful family hotel located right on the seashore, just a two-minute walk from the beach. The staff are amazing and always kind, ready to help with anything you need. The airport is only a 15-minute bus ride away

Rooms cleaned every day, food also very nice. Lots of variety at dinner time. Local buses every 25mins to take you to Herkalion, Hersonissos, Malia. Id defo recommend the hotel if your after a chilled relaxing holiday

Close to the airport (it was a plus for us as we don't like long travels, and we could watch planes coming to landing at the beach) in a nice little village, but full of shops, tavernas, and restaurants

Simple, slightly older rooms, but fully equioed (I was just missing an electric cattle and cups), quite spacious, and always perfectly cleaned. Buffets for breakfast and dinner, something for everyone

Far from the west coast, but not too far, Crete is large, and the choice must be either to return or stay in different places to reduce travel. We traveled 1,000 km in 8 days, but obviously we missed a lot

I am very thankful for the staff for this comfort 🙂 By the way the staff is always smiling and it is a very good point! As a French people they try to talk in French and so it creates very unique conversations with them! When we have a question or else they’re always here to help us! The only bad point is that sometimes we do not have the time to finish our plate that the waiters already take those...

What an amazing hotel! Staff were so friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble! Small, friendly hotel, clean, food amazing, pool area small but never a rush for sunbeds! If you get chance you must experience the Greek night! So much fun! Everything was just perfect! Can highly recommend!

Everything was very good! The rooms was clean, the fact that every afternoon, when we come back from the day, our bed is made and the room are always clean

I will definitely come back another time ! -It’s next to the city (Héraklion) -Well deserved with public transportation -An amazing buffet

We had a superior double sea front with shared private pool and we could not fault anything about it. We even had the delightful Marina bringing us drinks all day around the pool, she was a delight

Absolutely everything about our stay was first class. The hotel was exceptional, the food in all restaurants, including buffet was fantastic. The staff were also all wonderful

Excellent hotel and good service. Beautiful setting and aesthetic hotel. Swim up pools were fabulous especially as travelling with children

Really amazing all inclusive resort. We had an amazing time. The Greek restaurant was by far the best. The beach was beautiful.

Room was beautiful, clean and well stocked with drinks. Staff were friendly and attentive. Lovely resort.

We will definitely be coming back

The location is perfect, the beach is 5 meters away from a gorgeous small sandy beach with crystal clear water, the rooms are spacious and they clean and change towels every day! It is quite and relaxing atmosphere with the best breakfast that is from 8-11 so you can wake up early or just sleep more and go to enjoy the awesome pancakes on with sea views right next to you!

The hotel is great: big rooms, every room cleaning, extremely helpful staff! Big terrace next to the sea with gorgeous view fir breakfast. Breakfast is traditional Greek food - big and tasty

Hi everyone, First of all I would like to recommend Coralli Beach hotel for people and professionalism they use to work, and congrats for this as well! A clean hotel, with a variety of breakfast dishes, suit's etc Think that you are near by the beach ⛱️ , you have good restaurants next to the hotel

We been here for honey moon and really enjoyed and HIGHER Recommend for everyone that could be a simple couple either way a family. All the best and I hope we'll come back with more friends

The area is quite windy, and the descent to the sea is somewhat challenging, though the coast itself is clean and sandy. Also, it’s wise to come prepared with mosquito repellent

Excellent staff and very welcoming and helpful. Next to the sea and a bus stop with easy bus connections to the airport.

I feel this sign needs to be bigger/a lot clearer, and maybe even repeated further down the path. We got to reception, checked in and then were walked back to our building and room. 10 which has a sea view balcony

A very beautiful space! The hotel is next to the beach and the pool is less than a minute walk from the room. The best place to relax!!

Big and clean rooms, very friendly staff , delicious and varied dinner and also rich breakfast I would gladly come again

And finally, all of the staff (receptionists, waitresses, cleaners…) were so kind, attentive, and accommodating, and they made us feel welcome and safe

The hotel area is beautiful and quiet, and the breakfast and dinner were excellent with a variety of local dishes in addition to more generic choices

The breakfast buffet was outstanding, the staff at all locations in the hotel were very friendly and welcoming

This is the perfect place for me to relax and enjoy and fully recharge my batteries. You can really feel that everyone is doing their best to make their guest feel cared about

Me, my wife, and our five months old son had a wonderful stay at Knossos

We stayed in a suite with sea view, which was beautiful and spacious, and included a beach cabana, which is convenient when travelling with an infant to avoid sun exposure while playing at the beach

Golden Bay Boutique Hotel & Bungalows

The bus (coach) is super easy to get and comes about every 20 mins/half hour, its 4 euros to Heraklion when we went ☺️ The staff were so welcoming, George on reception was super helpful when we arrived (we got delayed), Joanna and George on the bar were so lovely and friendly, they really made for a great stay!! ❤️ The restaurants were really good as well, we went to In&Out, Ambrosia and Paximadi...

My only gripe about the room was that it would have been nice to have a full length mirror 🪞 The location was good, there is approximately 5/6 restaurants and a small mini market along the front which are about a 5-10 minute walk (all flat ground) when you turn left out of the hotel on the front

Beds are soft and comfortable, place is immaculately clean, and all at a very fair price. It's also right on the sea and within walking distance of some beaches

Turning right out the hotel, the main road is about a 15-20 minute walk away, there's an amazing little bakery just on the left when you get to the main road, and the bus stop is on the right! There were some reviews which mentioned a hill, the road towards the main road is relatively flat, but just before the main road there is about 10 seconds up a steeper bit (were mid 20s so that could change...

Fabulous setting, food and drinks All in all Golden Bay is an amazing place to stay with exceptional people working there who will go out of their way to do anything for you Much Love Darren , Fiona & James (207 & 507)

Just a shame our airport transfer home arrived early and we didn't get time to say a proper goodbye to them 😒 Cleaners, Yianni at breakfast, chef and reception as all fantastic too It's like a home from home from home

We were made so welcome by the owners george and stella , they made our holiday a very enjoyable experience they are a very easy going couple. Had some lovely home cooked food , hes a good chef ! moussaka was amazing

5 min walk to the beach , and lots of food options locally. this is a gem of a place and i cant wait to return next year. missing you guys Anna / kevin

Fantastic value for money we would definitely return to Olga should we return to the area. We found Gournes/ Kokkini Hani a little quiet but likely different in high season. I recommend 100% Yammas Georgios

We booked the apartment for the Monday but due to late flights we didnt arrive until nearly 3am Tuesday morning, the Travel Agent, equipped with all our travel info, couldnt communicate to Giorgos our arrival time for some odd reason , (something they need to fix) which meant he sat up all night to make sure we arrived safely and still managed to have a massive smile and warm greeting regardless...

Georgios was an excellent host and couldn`t conceivably have done more to accommodate us - indeed he got his children to sing Happy Birthday to me! The property is in Gournes rather than Kokkini Hani which provides different options but expect a 25 minute walk to Kokkini Hani centre

The room was large but not without the usual Greek plumbing issues easily resolvable with a little imagination and adaptation. Pool and bar area is nice enough and the bus stop is literally right outside

This is a small family run hotel convenient to the airport and Iraklion city. (Buses run to from airport every 20 minutes, cost €2. The area is OK with a variety of tavernas etc and small beaches

We stayed 3 days before moving to our next resort. Reception, restaurant and cleaning staff were all very helpful and friendly, especially if you made the effort to speak a few words of Greek such as kalimera etc

The room was very clean, with fridge & tea making facilities. The beds were soft & comfortable. Have read other reviews about no hot water, but this wasn’t the case, there was plenty of hot water every day

Only downside was there wasn’t enough plug sockets in the room. Hotel staff are very friendly & helpful. I wanted to go into Heraklion for the day & was given a map & directions to help enjoy my day

Great place! Simple but very cosy and had all amenities. Also very close to the beach and some taverns. The stuff was very friendly and nice and helped us with everything (from settling in our room to moving around tips)

Host was very helpfull. He offered us umbrellas and chairs for the beach, free of charge. Extra charge for the airconditioning. Received many sugestions about the surrounding atractions.

Sandy beach is 2 min away and you can see sunrise and sunsetfrom same spot. Opposite țo bus station for Heraklion and all other interesting locations on seaside, easy access for any trip &cruise

Nice apartment near the beach, with a living room and kitchen, including a fridge, separate bedroom, and a balcony. Air conditioning available for a small fee

Great location for visiting the island, we had an amazing experience thanks to Ioannis who recomanded the Point key and he always ask us about the day

Plenty of places to visit Gramvousa/Balos is beautiful and Voi Palm Beach is also a nice day out, had a fantastic holiday and would be happy to return, thanks again Yannis and family

It was an amazing getaway for end summer. Yannis and his family are perfect hosts. Accomodation is all you need, clean rooms and good Greek breakfast

Only remark is a unstable wifi, not that i needed it much, but is a must in this time and age. To summarize, it was a enjoyable holiday at Kri Kri, we rested well, and are sure to visit again

Great location (beaches are couple hundreds meters away left and right), secluded, away from crowds. Whole ambient is cozy and peaceful. Jenny and the staff were very pleasant and helpful

Rooms are spacious, well furbished, with modern bathrooms. We opted for self catering and we had every thing we need in the kitchenette

Helpful staff and nice beaches close by.

No laundry, if you want A/C it's 8 euro per day, hot water in shower is inconsistent, from cool to extremely hot (scalding) in seconds, no screens on the windows so constant bugs (flies, mosquitoes), Wi-Fi weak, charged 5 euro per day environmental tax

Unfortunately the room we got moved to had a lot of things broken such as flickering lights, broken curtain and handles and the door also had a gap in it when closed which didn’t feel the safest

We really liked the hotel. The hosts were very friendly. The room was clean, and the bed linen was changed frequently. The prices were very reasonable. The sea is nearby. We would love to come back again

Nice and cozy place. Personel is very friendly and helpful. Sea is close, pool is clean and big enough. There are many shops and tavernas near hotel.

This place is family run by some wonderful people. They were a joy to interact with. It's budget friendly which is a blessing when traveling with a strict budget. I would definitely stay here again

Beautiful view on the sea and island on the horizon. Very clean room, swimming pool, and nice host

The pool at Pelamare is good but you don't even need it because the departments are only 20m away from the sea, so you can jump into it every morning before breakfast

Really like it, peace and quiet and clean. Location is a few steps to the beach and a host is a good person. Plenty of shops around and bus stop to Heraklion is 2 minutes away. It also has nice places for a coffee

We had breakfast and dinner (buffet) at the about 400 meters away Zorbas Island Hotel. Despite the little walk every morning and evening it payed off because the personal is very friendly and the food is good

Very good accommodation. I recommend to everyone and to families. You have everything in one place (pool, beautiful beach, shop, restoration, ice cream, pharmacy). The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The a/c in our room was defect but we asked other guests and they had a working one, so that should be no problem. You can easily go by bus to Iraklion, the bus station is only 150m away in Kokkini Hani
