My family and I had a lovely holiday at Gouves. The staff were excellent, particularly Maria at Poseidon Bar who could not do enough for us. Food was excellent: I have two fussy eaters and they could always find something to eat at the Buffet. Snack Bar food excellent. We didnt try the restaurants and stuck with Buffet which a wide range and variety of dishes - even Chinese! The cakes and desserts...

This would qualify as good budget hotel at its best. We came in April and it majority of facilities as to WHY we chose this hotel are closed and not available - play area for kids, indoor pool closed due to construction. The hotel was truly excellent, and the food was also very good, but the spa was definitely the highlight. I had a massage from Pavlos, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience—very relaxing and enjoyable. I would highly recommend it!

This is hands down cleanest hotel i have ever seen. Rooms building everywhere. Superb! The towels and sheets changed daily and washed for sure. Smells fantastic everytime. Honestly i cannot believe how clean dis place is. Food is not good. Dont get full board or all inclusive. Just b and b and go about your day. Car is a must. You wont be able to walk everywhere everyday. Taxi is expensive.

The hotel itself was clean and the Food was really good. The only problem is the Location. Theres No Shuttle Service to the Beach. You Walk for about 20 minutes to get there. The Beach is very nice though. Other than that and a few Cafés Theres nothing around the area and you either need to Rent a car or depend on the busses which are always Late.

Upon arrival, we were accommodated in the basement of the hotel. The room was small and not very cozy. The food selection was monotonous throughout the stay. The hotel pool was perfect, as the beach is 600m away, so you don't want to walk all the time. The hotel bar was excellent, acceptable drinks and as a bonus ice cream. I've just returned from the most peaceful relaxing & refreshing 7 days at these apartments. The location is right on the seafront. What a find!! Spotlessly clean, helpful staff, lovely swimming pool (unmanned but not too deep with the same depth from end to end) road in front is a busy road but after a while hardly notice it. The highlight is the delicious breakfast with cretan products prepared fresh every morning by Mrs. Chisoula. Mrs. Michalis organises everything with a smile. Hope we visit them again next year.

We chose this hotel to visit eastern Crete. Starting with the positives, I must say the room was spacious and clean. The savory breakfast was good, but the sweet options could be improved. The staff was very attentive and available to answer any questions or resolve issues we had with the sink. Chrisoula and Irene were wonderful hosts. We were warmly greeted and nothing was a problem. The room was spacious and very clean and the bathroom was massive!! Breakfast was fresh and plentiful and included bacon and eggs, pastries, home made Cretan pies, yoghurt, nuts, fruit, cereal and coffee and tea. There was something for everyone. We stayed for 1 week and would highly recommend Golden Sunlight...

LOVED our stay at the Cosmi! The rooms are clean, the pool is amazing, Nico the owner, is a great guy and he also makes excellent Frappes, ice cream sundaes and toasties. Very close to the beach and all the wonderful restaurants. If you stay here, be sure to eat at Phillipo's just down the road. Phillipo is wonderful man and they have excellent food.

The hotel is really clean, as is the pool and bar area. The owner is great, he is really relaxed and asks nothing of you other than if you're enjoying your stay, he is very attentive to anything you need too. The location is great, it is less than two minutes from the beach, restaurants, shops etc and is still nice an quiet. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, and cannot fault it in any way.

Great stay and owner was so friendly and helpful couldn't have done more for us. Also very clean and the cleaner was there every day with regular changing of bedding and fresh towels. Great location also for beach and restaurants. Had a great holiday and kids loved the pool which was also very clean
