Olga Studios in Kokkini Khanion

We were made so welcome by the owners george and stella , they made our holiday a very enjoyable experience they are a very easy going couple. they went above and beyond . Had some lovely home cooked food , hes a good chef ! moussaka was amazing . 5 min walk to the beach , and lots of food options locally. this is a gem of a place and i cant wait to return next year. missing you guys Anna / kevin

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Olga. Georgios was an excellent host and couldn`t conceivably have done more to accommodate us - indeed he got his children to sing Happy Birthday to me! The property is in Gournes rather than Kokkini Hani which provides different options but expect a 25 minute walk to Kokkini Hani centre. The room was large but not without the usual Greek plumbing issues easily resolvable with a little imagination and adaptation. Pool and bar area is nice enough and the bus stop is literally right outside. Fantastic value for money we would definitely return to Olga should we return to the area. We found Gournes/ Kokkini Hani a little quiet but likely different in high season. I recommend 100% Yammas Georgios. Very best wishes for the future Ian & Sue

What a fantastic holiday . We stayed at the Olga studios for 11 nights half board Giorgos and Stella are the most amazing hosts , friendly, family orientated and couldn’t do enough for us, by the time we left we felt like family. The rooms are very comfortable , stylish and well decorated . The pool and bar area is so relaxing with comfortable loungers and sun shades. The food was amazing as good as you can get in any restaurant you could go to in the town. Giorgos is a fantastic chef. Our teenagers were made to feel welcome and love the family atmosphere. We all had an amazing time here and will definitely go back next year . Thank you for such a great holiday . We will see you next year

The property is very nice, recently renovated, welcoming and very clean. Conveniently located. The staff was very kind and helpful. Excellent breakfast. The room was spacious and well furnished, comfortable bed. Only negative point: the bathroom is really tiny, it should be renovated and expanded.
For the rest, we highly recommend staying at this place, we liked it a lot

Throughout our entire stay at the Olga Apartments, Giorgos and Stella made us feel very welcome. We  booked the apartment for the Monday but due to late flights we didnt arrive until nearly 3am Tuesday morning,  the Travel Agent, equipped with all our travel info, couldnt communicate to Giorgos our arrival time for some odd  reason , (something they need to fix) which meant he sat up all night to make sure we arrived safely and still managed to have a massive smile and warm greeting regardless of the time.  Nothing was ever a bother to them. The entire complex was immaculate, including their spotless swimming pool with very comfy sun loungers. We had a balcony on the first floor, which was a fabulous touch.  We went self catering, however you did have the choice to have your meals there. Next time, we will do this as Giorgos is an amazing chef who knows how to make a cracking steak.  Complex is very close to the beach, a mere 5 minute walk, with lots of amazing restaurants on the beach front or shops for your souvenirs. If you don't fancy a night at a restaurant, you are able to have a drink at the poolside bar, where Giorgos is an amazing host full of banter, chat all round, great character. We had a fantastic time from start to finish, Giorgos and Stella have a fantastic wee family. Thank you for a fantastic stay. We can't wait to stay with you and your wonderful family again. The warmest owners! Honestly! We saw the room online & went to have a look, he offered us a better price a ride home and picked us up at the previous hotel, when we arrived he made dinner for us and the other couple. The rooms are beautiful, decorated lovely. We slept lovely and made proper use of the swimming pool and the cute sun beds! Olga studios - thanks a million and see you soon!

The hosts were the highlight. George and Stella. They couldn't do enough. Going over and beyond expectations. George's pork chops are as good as any you will get anywhere. 🙂 The Holiday appartments/Studios were excellent value for money. The beach a 5 min. Walk. The major towns of Heraklion and Hersonisos are 20 minutes on the bus. Every 15 mins or 30mins depending on time of day. Around 2 euros. Bus stops outside the gate. And across the rd.

Fantastic apartments, basic but very comfortable. Jorgos and his wife make you feel as if you are part of their family. Very helpful with information about where to go and how to get about. Buses stop right outside, very cheap to use. We will definitely stay again if we return to Crete.

lovely rooms with everything we needed. amazing food cooked by the host was wonderful and authentic. couldn’t recommend this place more, lovely pool area with very comfy sun beds. also a short (5 min) walk to the beach with nice tavernas, and a 30 min bus ride to Heraklion, with the bus stop conveniently being right outside the hotel. 100% recommend

We first stayed at Olga Studios in 2019 but, due to the Pandemic. We paid a one day visit to the hotel last year and noted that the overall look of the hotel has been improved. We spoke to Giorgos and arranged to stay in May 2023. Not only has the look changed but the rooms have all been upgraded too.. What hasn't changed is the warm welcome and hospitality from Giorgos and Stella, it was great to see them again. Joined other residents at the bar and we chatted into the early hours of the morning. Giorgos cannot do enough for you and that makes the stay all the more pleasurable. Definitely be back
