Beautiful resort!! Everything was so clean, comfortable, and calm. Felt like a perfect relaxing escape from the hustle of Chania. Also, in the nearby area, it is only a 5 minute walk to the ocean with a stunning hiking spot for when it is too cold to swim.

An amazing and relaxing place to stay during your vacation. The room was spacious and mostly perfectly cleaned. The stuff is really kind and helpful. You can enjoy your coffee or drink by the pool. I will definitely visit Okeanis again when being near Chania. Thank you for being an outstanding hotel.

Small family hotel, nice staff. Perfect location and peaceful surroundings. Shops nearby. Rooms were really nice, big balcony, good beds. Cleaning was every day.

We were not guests in the Hotel, but at the pool and bar. The bar crew is very pleasant and friendly! The food is very delicious and cheap.

We are not guests at this hotel, we were on a walk around 9pm and stumbled across this little gem, live music and very lively. Made to feel welcome and had the best cocktails of our holiday, you don't have to lift a finger the staff bring drinks to your table round the pool area and you settle up once you leave. Definitely worth a visit the staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you.

The bar is nice with occasional live music. You can have cocktails and some standard drinks such as wine and beer. It is not a huge selection but okay.

It’s been a few years since our visit but we spent 2 weeks and liked it so we’re heading to Mariliana for 3 weeks this summer. The hotel is very clean, the beds are good, there are enough utensils to cook and the balcony also has decent furniture instead of plastic chairs. Location great close to amenities but quiet location. The pool is clean and of a suitable size.

We spent a week at Mariliana hotel in August 2021. It was our first time at Mariliana and we absolutely fell in love with this delightful little hotel. Mariliana is a well maintained, calm oasis with a beautiful garden. A very cozy hotel situated near the centre of Platanias. The host couple George and Sylvia are very accommodating and nice people. The hotel has a pool with the possibility to turn on a jaccuzi. Varouxakis offers breakfast, lunch, beverages and snacks for a small fee. It's easy and simple to just enjoy a lunch while at the pool. Very nice accommodation, cleaned daily, very quiet. All the staff very friendly especially the cleaner Maria and the gardener. Ideally situated only 5 minutes to the beach and 5 minutes to the many bars and restaurants. Great value, just to add the air conditioning is extra €8 per day but much needed at this time of year.

Just spent a week with wife in this hotel and everything which you need for vacation works. Hotel and rooms are clean and cleaned six times per week. Towels change every third day. Pool area is small like hotel itself but again clean and comfortable. Pool bar was not open at all during our stay. Aircondition was in both rooms; living and bed rooms, and worked well. Not much to say about this hotel. It's very basic but it filled all our needs. The kitchen have the basic cooking utensils, there's free WiFi that worked very well, and TV. The rooms were clean and the maid came in every day (except Sunday) to clean, change the towels and make the beds. The staff were friendly. It has a good location. Really lovely place, well equipped, the lady who welcomed us was kind and helpful. The room has everything you need, there’s a kitchen as well, and air conditioned. It’s 1 min walk from the main road, still the neighborhood is completely quiet, and 2 mins walk from the beach. Absolutely recommend for shorter and longer stay as well.

Good location, but not maintained. The place is dirty. Looking at it would change the rating. The manager is willing to help but needs to spend money on maintaining and cleaning the place. Wifi is terrible. The two-room rooms have only one air conditioning which is not enough for the bedroom. Dire extinguishers were outdated (2018)

This place is very nice, it is not luxury but it is very clean and peaceful. Owners and stuff are really polite, we had problem with our rent a car agency and they tried to help us. Beautiful view and perfect location, it is right on the beach! We highly recommend this small hotel to everyone!

Just come back from a week at this hotel. The hotel is lovely and the staff are, without exception, excellent. They could not do enough for us and we loved our time there. I would recommend it to anyone.

Very nice to spend all day on the beach. There is a bar and restaurant, they cook very nice and tasty.. The staff care all day, very friendly... For 2 sunbeds and an umbrella you pay 6 EUR/all day. Till you have a lunch there, they dont count it. Really reccomend this place.

Amazing service and amazing people but most of all amazing location.. the beach is in ur back yard and youre surrounded by shops and restaurants!! Even tattoo shops and arcades! Simply perfect all around.

VERY NICE PLACE, Very god service, and extremely nice personnel. Delicious and quite cheap food, to eat in the pool bar day and evening. Nice location, close to very nice beach, places to shop, a little amusement place and not further than a good stroll along the beach from Chania, or a direct trip in the bus. We have been there two years in a row, and are going back again next year. LOVE this place
