We've enjoyed a couple of weeks staying in this hotel with wonderful staff. There was no loud music from the bar in the evenings unlike other nearby hotels. Location is perfect - 4 beaches nearby, Lidl, bus station, nice park for morning jogging. Free gym is another big plus for fit people. Great beach hotel Very nice little hotel. Close to at least four different sandy beaches. Staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was very good, with options for vegetarians. Including Cretan specialties. Only downside was that the air conditioning was in the living room only and didn't get to the bedroom. They gave us a fan and it improved things a lot.

Our stay was wonderful. We loved the little pool and easy access to beach and restaurants as well as the on-site parking. Breakfast was tasty and the service was lovely. The only thing I would mention is that our sink was clogged but repaired a few days into our stay.

We lived in the Zinovia for 2 weeks and it felt so comfortable cause it was exactly what we wanted. The Zinovia is located in a residential area. We only visited the restaurant for a few lunches. Very tasty food and very big portions! We loved that they fish was fresh and not frozen and have plenty of choices. We stayed at the beach and paid 8e for two sunbeds and umbrella and even received two small bottles of water. You could also use the pool as a guest.

We didn't stay here but hired some sunbeds & umbrellas on the beach (€8 per set). The loungers were comfy and the umbrella provided good shade. The waiter was friendly, helpful and efficient. The food was simple yet tasty and the prices were reasonable.

This is the second time that we stay at this hotel. The location is perfect. The bar is right on the beach, plays soft music, the personnel super friendly and knowledgeable, and best of all, at sunset, you and your drink, are alone on that long beautiful beach. Definitely we will be back next year.

Hotel apt was clean and comfortable and staff is alwas nice and ready to help. Be aware the beach is not for children , it is really deep right after you step in the water. The beach is the gravel type!!! We had to travel 8 km towards Chania everyday where is sandy beach and calm water!!!

The rooms where alright. Regular cleaning and functioning AC. What makes me lower my rating was the bitter attitude from the staff and the route you had to take to get to the restaurant/beach. It was basically a back alley with cars and huge piles of trash.

The location is good and the breakfast is barely acceptable. There are two disadvantages. First, there is no sea view. Second, the front desk is a bit inconvenient at 8 am and 10 pm. If you go out every day or work, and just sleep in the room, it is actually a good choice.

The hotel is located in a lively neighborhood of Platanias with lots of dining options nearby. The room is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Proimos maisonettes is a very cozy accomodation situated at the very end of Platanias. The property was perfect for us. A good base for a day on the beach or trips in the surrounding. Clean, tidy and comfortable.

Simple and inexpensive accommodations. Beach is right there! Clean and well-kept. Wifi was almost pointless- barely got any signal. Shower was tiny, water gets everywhere even with best efforts to keep curtain in place. We were only there to sleep so it was fine. If you wanted a place to hang out it had no character or charm.

The property has a parking lot across the street, check in was very easy and the rooms are clean!

Very good place, very friendly staff and near to the Not crowded beach. In the room you have sugar, Coffee, oil, Tea.

To improve the e perience and safety I would say that a smoke detector is necessary and update the old style cooking hob arrangement please. The apartment and hospitality is excellent. I loved my stay. Thank you.

3 weeks refreshing stay at Ilona Apartments We had a lovely 3 week stay at Ilona Apartments. Staff always helpful. Room was big and AC good. Bed could been softer must admit for 3 weeks stay. Short distance to bus stop and grocery stores. Beaches within walking distance though taking the bus a few stops gave better options. The apartment has a good location (near the beach, bus stop, two supermarkets and the sea is a 5-minute walk away). There is a washing machine on the top floor that you can use. For the price we paid, it was generally good. On the downside, during our 9 night stay, they changed our bed linen and towels several times and never washed the floor. The kitchen is missing a frying pan.
