Rhoe Seaside Apartments in Platanias

I visited the hotel twice. In both visits, I enjoyed a wonderful week at this hotel and I highly recommend it.
Built next to the sea and near the centre of Platanias, in an area with many restaurants, shops and interesting activities. The breakfast is nice, WiFi works properly. The room I was given was large, bright and always clean. Finally the people are polite and experienced.

We have been to Crete many times ever since I was a kid and this place is on our list of places to go everytime. Sometimes we have stayed at the hotel and even if we are staying somewhere else, we always make time to go eat here. The lovely staff, good food and great ocean views make it worth for a visit. Thank you for the years of good experiences to the staff. I can definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay or eat at the area!

I have to say I was amazingly surprised by this family-run hotel. The rooms have all you need (except an iron, but I didn’t ask for it either). The new room has a very comfortable bed, but the bed in the older room might be a bit too narrow, but we slept well. It is next to the beach, which is a plus, and it is in the centre of the town. The food in the restaurant is excellent. It is as nice or even better than in town. It is cooked with love. The family who runs it is top! Super friendly and nice. They gave us the best advice we could ask. We were fortunate, and they went on and beyond their duties to help us.
Further to it, the location of this hotel is perfect for exploring the Chania, the western beaches and the southern one. Each of the famous beaches is around 45-90 minutes. Ideal location as a base camp.
If I have to come back to Crete, I will stay in this hotel.

We spent two nights in this very nice, family-run hotel. Service was super-friendly always with a smile.
We had one of the newly renovated rooms which was really good for our family of four. Everything was here including kitchen and nespresso-machine.
But the best thing was having a nice breakfast directly at the beachfront.

Fantastic place

Suprisingly amazing! I went here with low expectations but I was wowed.

The room: 10/10 big, spacey, bathtub, air conditioner, kitchenette, terrace, comfy beds. Interior decoration really shines Cretan culture.

The parking: enough space and requires some accurate reversing as it is a small street.

The pool: 8/10 not the biggest pool in the region but it is sexy with its boutique style wooden floors on the side and vegetation wall.

The beach: 9/10 it’s a beachfront hotel 🏨
It’s a Sandy beach and the ocean is clean, no plastics. Also nice to not have to worry about rocks. Lots of sun beds.

Location: 9/10 restaurants and stores galore on the Main Street.

Breakfast: 7/10 I am on a paleo diet, but for most part the omelette was very nice. My daughter enjoyed the pancakes.

Will definitely stay here again :)

The staff, location and room get 10/10 for me. Now let me explain why. The staff go above and beyond to help you and make you feel welcome. They're friendly, really helpful and make your visit even better.

The room is very nice and well maintained. The proximity is very close to the seaside. There are showers situated near the rooms to ensure you can clean yourself off before heading into the room. The rooms is equipped with an ac to ensure you remain cool during the summer period.

The staff for me is what makes this hotel the best place to stay. They're awesome. They helped us with our trip to Samaria Gorge. They even made sandwiches for us and gave us fruit. Which helped on our trip to the gorge.

My advice is to read reviews and make your own decision but for me, if I ever visit Crete again and I am in the region. I will be staying here again. Thank you to them for making our visit a delightful one.

This hotel has a wonderful position overlooking the sea, you can enjoy breakfast in peace on the beautiful terrace, beautifully arranged, dinner also with spectacular views of the sunset.
The hosts are very kind and offer you everything you need. The food is very tasty, I recommend you try their traditional dishes, they are delicious.
The rooms are clean and beautifully arranged! The beach is sandy, you have umbrellas and sunbeds, the sea is beautiful, with smooth entry and spectacular waves!

I have only visited the beach restaurant, and the have the best absolutely the best Cesar's salad.
