Hotels with pool on first line in Greece

We came in October and even though it was nearing the end of the season the service was fantastic, couldn’t fault it. The resort was great, absolutely lovely beach and the staff are all wonderful

Not to mention pool chairs were all reserved by 8 am by people who would spend the day going between the beach and the pool. Beach is nice and sandy with only small pebbles nearing the water line

Food and drinks were excellent, staff polite and hospitable, while working busy shifts. Beach was great and the highlight of the trip. Facilities were very well kept and entire resort was kept clean and tidy

We recently stayed at Hotel Agapi Beach Resort in Crete and honestly, it exceeded all my expectations

The answer we received was because it is high season, we stayed during September so in reality its end of season, we want to relieve as much traffic from the bars as possible and accelerate service

We were never advised at any point of this reality, however signs are posted all along the beach recommending water shoes to go swimming. Nice stay but probably would not come back

Separate play and pool area for young children. A chilled hotel in large grounds next to its own silty beach

Great hotel would come back! Last minute booking for a late summer holiday which we didn’t research. Could not fault the hotel, it was great. Food was excellent, drinks were branded

Great views across the water to the mountainous mainland of Albania and Greece. Sunbeds are a bit shaby but comfortable, again with irregular drinks service. Local entertainment in the evenings if you want it

Even after swimming around for 15 mins it still felt cold - it would not stop me from returning though…

A great welcome experience on arrival. Fresh meals with a good wide choice. Close to Corfu airport departures route, so a few planes fly past each hour

If there was any criticism’s to make they would be - that there was no where to walk at night and beach was slightly poor

All the staff are very welcoming & helpful & do everything to make your holiday special. Dawn the Customer Relations Manager went out of her way to make our holidays there special

The beach has its own clean sand, the next 100 m below the knee for children, paradise

Capo Di Corfu is a wonderful hotel & we enjoyed 3 separate holidays in 2024 & chose Capo Di Corfu. The location is ideal with beautiful panoramic views

The layout is very spread out in beautiful gardens & no block is more than 2 storeys which gives a very open feeling. The gardens are well looked after with beautiful shrubs

The environment is beautiful. Lots of sun beds at the 3 x pool areas, kids were well entertained. The water… wow, ignore some of the seaweed

This is the man you want taking care of your children / pool areas so you can relax as a parent. Very friendly when you take the time to talk with him (when he’s not keeping an eye on your kids)

Location is great if you are in for a beach hols. Loved the property as it's reasonably sized, with 3 pools! And a lovely albeit small garden to walk through

Excellent big place, great sunset from the beach bar and also the pool area and the breakfast area. Some fabulous local restaurants with amazing food.

It’s very nice place, from the beach to the restaurants and pools, you can spend your whole day inside. Highly recommended!

Great hotel with nice beach and pool

It was a lovely hotel, pools and scenery were good. Right opposite the hotel is a private beach for hotel guest. The buffet was OK.

It was near the end of the season, however it felt like the hotel was closed. The pool bar didn’t have anything including beer. Someone from the other bar had to bring it up

Great beach, nice staff. The pool has sea water, that might be a minus for some.

Nice hotel, very nice and clean rooms. The furniture in the rooms is a bit outdated. Unfortunately, the food and drinks are of very poor quality. In conclusion, an ok hotel (quality-price) that needs many improvements

Since I read most of the reviews before choosing the hotel, I was not expecting the experience of a lifetime. However, we chose the hotel because we knew the place, the surroundings and it was quite familiar

I would start with the very arrival to the hotel. The receptionist, Katty, is an extremely pleasant lady who explained everything in detail, and the room was ready very soon upon our arrival, immediately after lunch

She even offered to print some coloring sheets for our kids, so that they can have fun in the evening. Also, Efi who worked on the reception desk was very friendly and helpful

It comes with a fridge, flat TV and probably a safe, never used it :) A water heater would be excellent to be placed in the rooms, just a suggestion. Rooms are cleaned daily, towels are changed daily

We had absoulutely relaxing vacation in Mediterranean Beach Resort. The beach was very close to our room and we had the chance to enjoy both the sea and the pool. Kids were very happy and we all enjoy our stay

Good zone for people looking for clubs and restaurants along the promenade Pro: - professional welcome - the hotel is made up of small mini hotels along a beautiful garden (small problem: no elevators) - you get beach towels (requiring a deposit but not a problem) - there's a mini market exactly nearby, on the beach - offers free waterbeds for use in the pool or the sea

On the day we had an issue with the shower it was resolved within a couple of hours of reporting it without fuss. The pool area is great, pool is a good temperature and there was excellent access to the beach

lovey hotel on the beach, nice and quiet with a good pool bar. the rooms a good size and kept very clean. the food was great with a good choice every day

Friendly staff, perfect waiters, delicious food, nice room and garden, supermarket next door, cleaned beach, quiet area and neighbors at the end of September/beginning of Oct

The sea is amazing, clear and shallow. The only downside to the hotel was the gym, we were keen to go but the equipment didn’t work well

The Esperia City Hotel boasts a perfect location, just a short walk from both the beach and Rhodes Old Town

The location is pretty good, with both beach sides being about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. There's plenty of restaurants and stores (supermarkets, souvenir stores, pharmacies etc) nearby

We could easily hear noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms, so the sound insulation is poor. Despite the noise, I would recommend the hotel for its fantastic location and great service

Our room was kept very clean with daily service, the staff was consistently friendly, and the breakfasts were good. The only real issue was the thin walls

Like anything it has it's good and bad sides so let's go over them. I like to start with the positives so here they are: The staff are all very friendly and helpful from the receptionists, kitchen and room staff

Breakfast is great with lots of options to choose from (salty, sweet, sour, healthy and fast food stuff, take your pick) and they change thing daily as well. Booking was of a decent price range

The guests have sunbeds on the beach and the pools, more than enough if some people didn't take up more sunbeds than they actually needed

The food is varied and very tasty. The hotel staff is very friendly, accommodating and helpful. The beach is nicely decorated, clean with good umbrellas and sunbeds

I was really worried before coming because of the bad reviews about mold but we didn’t have any issue of this kind. We’re in a partial view of the sea room and it was great. The room was small but for 2 people was enough

Just one small thing that happened to us, I would prefer delegate someone who is understanding and have more experience, working with people requires helping and supporting basically that’s why you are there and paid for it

We enjoyed ourselves in this hotel. Everything was as it was presented when booking. The hotel is clean, with a nicely arranged yard, with natural shade, which is very necessary for families with children

The hotel is great, but the reviews here are awful for some reason, we would have never stayed here if I only read the ones on Google. The rooms are cleaned daily, the staff is great, food is phenomenal

What really stood out was the incredible service from all the staff. They were so kind and helpful throughout our stay. The pool food staff were particularly great, handling a special food order for us with a smile

We had a wonderful time at the resort. We enjoyed the spa. The food was very good. We enjoyed the community cats also. We will be back. Nick was a very big help to us throughout our entire stay.

If you're going to Crete and want a 5 star resort then you should consider the Stella Palace. We didn't try the Aqua Park, but from the screams it sounded like everybody was enjoying themselves

Food, staff, rooms and all facilities are great. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. The swim-up was fantastic, quiet most of the time and waiter service to pool side was unexpected but appreciated

many sunbeds are already reserved with towels (an issue the hotel could manage more strictly), and in the restaurants some parents let their children watch videos on phones or tablets at high volume

We stayed for a week in a suite with a private pool and loved it. The staff were excellent to a fault, especially the bar staff - couldn't rate them high enough

We were just on bed and breakfast and the breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. There were plenty of sunbeds available, the ones on the beach having mattresses. The gardens were beautiful and so well kept

Everything was very clean and tidy including the beach

We were transferred to this Hotel as our original accommodation was unable to host us. We were actually really pleased. It's a nice hotel with loads of facilities. The staff on reception were very welcoming

Everything is great about this hotel, enough space, and you have many choices for going dinner even if you aren't all-inclusive. There are 4 pools and one beautiful beach, one playground which is kidfriendly

The beach, the pool, and the resort are lovely. Nice walks, nice sunsets, nice nature. The dinner is pretty good, with plenty of variety. The rooms are very clean, and the room cleaners are doing a great job

Although we were the very last to be here in the season we found it to be paradise. Olive trees, Pomegranate tree, banana tree and some other fruits just lovely to see it all

People moan about food etc but you go to another country to take in culture and all it offers and to be honest there is always something on offer even for fussy eaters. The Anastasia is definitely worth a visit

Please, please, please don’t take in all you read in reviews, unfortunately I read some reviews that made me nervous about coming here, don’t listen to them. It’s your holiday and it’s what you make of it

The hotel was lovely, very clean and presentable, the staff were so helpful, welcoming and warm. The food was delicious, we will love to come back again next year

Good hotel with all ammenities with a private beach situated in an olive tree park. Guests can use parking lot free of charge. Rooms are large and nicely furbushed. Personell is very kind and helpful

We spent 5 days in the Rethymno Palace as a couple, our teenage daughter and 4 of her friends. It's a nice hotel with indoor and outdoor pool and direct access to beach and sea

We booked a massage in the Spa with the very friendly spa manager Hasmik. I got a really relaxing massage from the masseur Stefanos who was able to give me advice for my back problem

Great 5 star resort with a good food and drinks. Perfect pool, beach and entertainment.

So many places to sit comfortably sun or shade with delicious drinks and food on tap. All dressed smartly and clearly take pride in their work. Beach bar overlooking the sea - utterly idyllic and chic

Fantastic stay at an extremely friendly and professionally run hotel right on the beach. The rooms are spruce, bright and well maintained. We had a view right over the pool and palm trees

The food was good, the place is gorgeous. David has made the activities fun and enjoyable, the beach volleyball and the pool fitness was great. He was friendly and approachable. David made our trip more memorable

Location is great, on the beach, central Faliraki, lots of tavernas and plenty choice of restaurants, shops. Close to Rhodes Old Town which is stunning. Good bus links/ lots of cars available for rent

We stay at Apollo Beach every time we're on Rhodes. Even boat trips start right from its beach. There is a large parking lot, bus stop, and many restaurants around. I highly recommend this hotel

The hotel was in a wonderful location on the beach and near to everything including bars, restaurants? Shops and a bus stop at the front of the hotel

The staff are friendly and attentive, with waiters bringing drinks to your table at every meal. The hotel is clean, with spacious and tidy rooms. The beach is very close (sunbeds are available for a fee)

We spent our holiday with our 4 year old daughter at Irene Palace Beach Resort last June, and this year we decided to return because of what we appreciated most — the family atmosphere and warm welcome

Is was here 13-20 september 2025. Right down to the beach, you have to pay for a sunbed on the beach. The environment around it is great. Now food, some is good but most of it i average to bad

Food, pool, beach and waterslides are best thing about this hotel, but it would be great if people didn’t reserve sunbeds at stupid o clock in the morning - went to pool at 7am and people had already reserved beds and they didn’t show up to the bed until after 9:30-10am

This hotel is especially worth visiting because of the people who work there, but also for the delicious food, great location with beautiful garden and pleasant beach, and excellent facilities for children

Irene Palace Beach Resort is a great choice for families with children. The food is excellent, very much like what you’d find in traditional Greek taverns – everything we tried was delicious

We enjoyed our stay at Mitsis Galini hotel. The stuff was friendly, the room had a nice view of the sea and the pool and both the dinner and the breakfast were above the expectations. We will definitely come back!

We went at end of October, just before the end of the season. Hotel is beautiful, clean and spacious, top quality. We had two double rooms facing the pool and sea, with a balcony

Very clean and tidy and with everything you could need (safe, toiletries, hair dryer, towels etc). The outdoor pool is very well kept and large, hardly anyone in it at all

There is a smaller thermal pool outdoors and one indoors too, with a spa. Had a wonderful blow dry and style for only €30 as well. Food was amazing, lots of options even for me as a vegetarian

All meals had options of bread, salads, fruits/veg, cheese and meats, pizza, italian pasta, meat dishes, chips, fish, chicken, vegetable dishes, rice, soups, crepes, ice creams, and a large range of desserts, as well as greek specialities

We had a sea view room and the extra cost was worth it for the amazing view out over the sea, with mountains in the distance. The rear of the hotel also faces some pretty impressive mountains, but overlooks the car park

The area of Benitses , a short stroll from the hotel to have a terrific selection of shops , restaurants and friendly bars. We would recommend the Potamaki Beach Hotel and area as an excellent location to holiday

The location is perfect, beach is just opposite, bus stop to the old town is less than 1min walk, shops are 1min walk, airport is close too either by bus or taxi. Breakfast was superb with varieties

The management of the hotel are so welcoming and friendly, they provided my wife with paracetamol when she complained headaches on arrival

Very nice personal, kind and helpful Clean towels, room cleaning every day; they also changed the sheets twice in 8 days; some of the food was delicious, beach is close, beautiful view from the balcony free air conditioning good coffee in the bar for 2 EUR

Unique and vastly expansive property. It was so large that there was a whole other pool and another beach we didn’t even discover until the night before our last day

The views from this hotel are mesmerizing, sunrise and sunsets are beautiful. The only minus for us was that if you want to go to the beach you need to pay for lounge chairs, it wasn’t very expensive

The beaches near the hotel are kinda rocky, if you want a nice sandy beach there is Agia Pelagia Beach, it’s 10 min drive. The housekeeping lady in our section was so friendly and helpful

A special thank you to Aman at the reception! :) Great cocktails and view at the lobby bar. We loved Tsimento beach (part of the property) and the other public beaches around the resort

There’s also a seaside village not far from the resort with amazing restaurants and shopping. We walked to it and took a taxi back. The taxi ride back was only 10 Euros

Rooms were comfortable and air conditioned. Get a room with a private pool in it. Those rooms are centrally located in the resort and well worth it

Room was a good size, comfy bed and all SC facilities if required, fridge, microwave etc. Only slight negative was bathroom which was fine, but bit dated, however considering cost of holiday this was not a problem

Personally we enjoyed the breakfast and variety. Pool area was immaculate and very well maintained. Would definitely recommend staying here and will hopefully return in the future

Or the bar and then another to reception shame really as it would be a really lovely hotel if on one complex Pool umbrellas and beds need changing desperately

Kos wasn’t up at the top of our list Hotel is somewhat disjointed as there are 5 different buildings and you have to cross roads to go to the pool

Breakfast was very good and something for everyone, if you want traditional English breakfast, with English std food like Richmond sausages, hash browns etc go somewhere else or go Self Catering

There were some activities each day and the entertainment staff would come around the pool to let you know that they're happening, which was cool

The place and the staff are excellent. Really enjoyed our family time. It's a shame that the place is being renewed and transformed into an adults-only hotel.

One criticism, the last day , the beach bar and pool bar was closed

To say we were disappointed is an under statement! 5 star it is not! There were a lot of weeds by the pool, toilets out of order and leaking everywhere

Very good food, plenty to choose from. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are delicious, with local produce, fruits, vegetables, and cheeses. Very friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel

We were there two weeks , but some people only went for a few days , so that was a little unfair, I understand the hotel was closing the next day but even so?… The location is beautiful

Two lamps weren’t working when we arrived, but maintenance fixed them right away after we mentioned it. In the evening there’s live Greek music, a lovely bar, and a nice area with plenty of sunbeds around the pools

Food at snack bar served till 8 pm and very well Presented very clean and towels and bedding changed regularly , will deffinately return again, plenty to do within walking distance , and excilent Beach very near

Not been to zante in a while , this was my fist holiday since my husband passed away, and the zante park didn't disappoint, as soon as we got there we got upgraded to a private pool room, food was as you would expect in an all inclusive, rooms very clean with fresh towels daily, nothing was to much for the staff, always helpful, would definitely recommend for a visit

The food is excellent! There’s a huge variety, especially at lunch and dinner — meat, fish, seafood, side dishes, vegetables, fruits — everything is super tasty and fresh

Lovely hotel food was great lots to choose from we had private pool staff Lovely hotel is in good location spotlessly clean no complaints about anything would stay again

There’s no line at the bar, and during the day you can always get snacks and ice cream. The beach is only about a 5-minute walk, very easy to get to
