Selini Hotel in Kamari

Super!!! Simply beautiful and welcoming, the room is super, the pool is super

I travelled with my partner at c6 months pregnant and we had the most relaxing stay at the Selini hotel. Everyone working at the hotel was very welcoming and friendly, especially Maria at the pool bar who made sure we were well looked after during the day! Our stay would not have been the same without her and we miss her daily iced coffees and cocktails (non alcoholic for me). Although a small hotel, we never had any trouble finding sunbeds around the pool (at any time). Spending time at the pool was very relaxing and peaceful. The location was ideal - only a short walk (no more than 10 minutes) to the beach and a variety of restaurants and bars, all serving amazing food! I’d also highly recommend the open air cinema within walking distance. Our room was spotless, cleaned daily and spacious enough for our needs. The breakfast selection was small (as to be expected from a small hotel) but well cooked and plentiful enough to fill us up for the morning. The selection included toast, pastries, cereal, ham, cheeses, eggs and sausage/bacon. We visited Fira and Oia via bus which was a very cheap and easy way to travel (€2 per journey per person). I’m glad we took the time to visit as we saw an incredible sunset, but the towns were so busy with tourists (and more expensive) compared to Kamari. If I was visiting Santorini again, I would absolutely return to Kamari and this hotel - it’s no surprise there were so many returning guests.

Another fabulous stay at Black Sands. A family run establishment, with great staff supporting them. Pool and bar area spotless, house keeping carried out every day and the location is minutes from the beach.
Highly recommend 👌.

Have been twice but not for a few years now, hoping to go again. Mantha was always on the go, very welcoming and the staff were great. Terrific atmosphere and not too far from the beach. Very relaxing holiday.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for a special 40th birthday celebration for 10 nights in July and we fell in love with the hotel and the beautiful people that work there. The staff that work here some are family and the others work together like family and it’s wonderful to see - and this is why the results are so good. It is so clean throughout, the atmosphere puts a smile on your face each day, I have never felt so welcome to be a guest. The breakfast is perfectly adequate and even 10 minutes before it comes to a close - it is still being topped up - so you are never felt to be rushed. The staff couldn’t do more for you. The mother and son owners that run the hotel are lovely and Maria who is the perfect bar hostess has now become a friend we will never forget. She made our holiday the best it could be with her kind, funny, welcoming nature. The pool area is stunning with a lovely view. The cocktails Maria makes are the best we’ve had, the chicken wings on the lunch menu are too good to share! We will cherish these memories and we will be back!! The hotel location is perfect for a short stroll to the beach where you will find many bars, restaurants and shops. Our favourite hotel and holiday we have ever had. Thank you Selini

Excellent service, felt at home

To be honest, it's so good, I don't know why there are no pictures and reviews from Chinese tourists. I went there alone and was very satisfied. The bed is big, the view is perfect, and the swimming pool is really a substitute for Anmangiri. The location is very good, just a few steps to Kamari Beach. Although it is not in Oia and Fira Town, one day is definitely enough to visit Oia and Fira.
So I recommend staying in Kamari area (the beach and other attractions are very close). If you want to stay in Santorini for two or three days, you don't have to stay in popular tourist spots such as Oia and Fira.
The point is that the boss lady is super nice, greeting me warmly every day and actively calling a taxi for me. On the last day, she asked me about my flight time and arranged everything for me. Combined with this price, I can only say that it is worth the money! !

Had a fabulous first time in Santorini thanks to Mantha, family & staff. Greeted with a smile & complementary drink on arrival & made very welcome.
Mantha was always on the go & could not do enough for us, nothing too much trouble.
Hotel was lovely, very relaxing & spotless. Would definitely recommend Black Sands 🤩
