Zephyros Hotel in Kamari

Amazing hotel - perfect location, unbelievably clean, lovely staff, comfy beds, good breakfast, fab pool. We'll be back soon defo!

We returned to the hotel after such a good stay last year, we booked a pool view room but unfortunately the view was set back from the pool and blocked by a huge bush! The room was also much smaller than what we had been given last year but still nice. We had a lovely time again and have booked again for next year hoping we do get the pool view this time after paying extra for it!!! The only thing is having to be out of your room at 11am when your flight is 12 hrs later it’s such a long time without a room and €120 is too much to pay on top of what you’ve paid already

This is a lovely friendly and very clean hotel. It's in an ideal position with lots of shops, bars and gorgeous restaurants only 5 minutes walk away. There is no lift. The breakfast was nice and there is a small poolside bar ideal for lunch. The sun loungers are very comfy. Would recommend this hotel.

Visited with my partner at the start of September. The hotel is beautiful. It is clean and the staff are lovely and helpful. Short walk to all the restaurants. Nice pool area with good pool bar although we did encounter some competition for the beds which weren't shaded. Would definitely stay again and would recommend.

We had a fabulous weeks stay here. Stayed late September early October for a week as a couple in room 34 upgraded to a superior double room . It's a small and friendly hotel set in a peaceful location. The hotel is well looked after, kept in excellent clean condition and well maintained. The staff are fantastic and are a credit to the hotel. Rooms are cleaned to a high standard, clean towels daily and clean bedding every day. The pool and surrounding area are well maintained and it is lovely and peaceful. Pool bar open all day for drinks and snacks. Breakfast has lots of options something for everyone pastries, breads, fruit, yogurt, meats, cheeses, salad, omelettes, eggs, sausage, bacon and loads of different drinks to choose from. Lady on reception is really helpful with advice on visiting different places. Highly recommend using the local bus to visit Fira, but go in the afternoon/evening as the cruise ships dock in the morning and it is really busy with tours. Oia is a must! But go early on 7.30am bus to Fira then 8.30am bus to Oia. Cruise ships are in the afternoon for evening sunset so busy. Short 5-10 minutes to the main promenade in Kamari with fantastic restaurants bars and shops. To mention a few restaurants Ariale, Springs, Prince, Elixir (10% discount for Zephyros guests) Delion. So many to choose from but these were the best. The beach is a long stretch black sand/shingle no shortage of sunbeds. A fantastic holiday and would definitely return

Beautiful hotel, friendly family run. Our room had a Seaview and a pool view. Breakfast had a good choice. Omelette made to order & fried eggs. Everywhere spotless, towels changed everyday. Pool towels available at reception, nice pool bar, sunbeds aren't supposed to be reserved....but people do, then go off for hours I witnessed one one occasion, we took ourselves to beach, plenty of sunbeds if you can't get on at pool. Main street a short walk away, it's a perfect choice highly recommend 👌

The hotel was fairly small but very pretty and lovely.The swimming pool area was especially pretty with the plants and lovely sunbeds and small bar area.Staff amazing so hard working.The lady I think her name was Francesca making the omelettes was there in the morning and then sorting rooms till the afternoon (omelette amazing btw) It was a short walk slightly up hill on the way back to the main ***** which was great lots to choose from.So in all the hotel is in a great location.Rooms cleaned daily. Negative side was the pool area being small not alot of beds and when you have selfish people putting towels out and going off for hours it's very unfair.There are signs saying not to do this and the towels will be removed but this didn't happen.The hotel needs to be more stricked.I have put a photo on to show how many beds were taken at 8.30am and one lot of four were in for an hour and then went out for over 4 hrs. Also the double room was a bit spaceless but we did manage. Saying that we would come back and would of been a 5/5 just the pool area

Just back from a 7-night stay at Hotel Zephyros. A lovely family run hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Our room had a small balcony facing towards the front of the hotel, but set back far enough from the road that noise was minimal and we found it a generally quiet location. The room was comfortable and everything was kept spotlessly clean. Food was good. The breakfast buffet always had an excellent selection of hot and cold food. We found the hotel well placed, with the beach, local shops, bars, restaurants and bus stop all within a few minutes walk. A great stay at a perfect location.

We stayed at Hotel Zephyros in July and had a wonderful time. The hotel is well placed, just 10 minutes to the beachfront with a huge number of restaurants, bars (some with live music) and shops, and 5 minutes from the bus stop for access to Fira and Oia. There is also a Carrefour supermarket 5 minutes walk away. We found the hotel and grounds were kept very clean and tidy, and the food served in the restaurant (breakfast) and pool bar (lunch) was always very good quality (note: there is no bar in the evening as the pool bar closes around 7pm). All staff were, without exception, very friendly and helpful. The pool area is fairly small and does have fixed umbrellas, so all beds were in the shade at some points in the day - this is not a bad thing, as it was very hot when we were there, so it gave us a bit of respite. Our room was very spacious and comfortable with a good range of amenities. Kamari is a lovely resort and a great place to stay due to the number of bars and restaurants in and around the beach. Kamari is also MUCH cheaper and less crowded than Fira or Oia, which can easily be reached by bus, including in the evenings for the famous sunsets! Overall, if/when we were to go back to Santorini, we would definitely go back to Kamari and would have no hesitation in returning to Hotel Zephyros.
