Afandou Sky Hotel in Afantou

Friendly staff. Nice view of the sea (specially the sun rise and the moon reflecting on the sea). The beds are very nice and sturdy but they could provide better pillows. The shower doesn't have hot water late in the evening and very small shower cubicle (it doesn't fit a large person). Nice location by foot to Afandou village which is very lively and where you can catch buses to the city.

Best hotel due to the staff that run it , great views from balconies, rooms are cleaned ,beds made every day the cleaner works very hard cleaning changing towels every day , the pool is clean , was there June 2017 booked up to go again June 6th 2018 as I traveled last year myself 1st time ever sister was in hotel near by but Afandou Sky much better hotel it's up

a hill but I have bad lungs emphysema if I can walk up & down the hill anyone. Excellent restaurants to eat out any time of the day in Afandou town centre , hotel is b&b basis good quality breakfast with juice & coffee , but €2 for the best cappuccino I've ever had frothy & creamy strong coffee perfect any type of fancy coffee made mike 1 of the men that works there makes the best mojito fresh lemons picked on the hotel grounds fresh mint also grown round the pool area so makes it extra special , the 2 brothers & mike that run this gem of a place are the best guys what a laugh I had there on hand 24/7 to help you with any info about where to go & what to do , the pool is peaceful enough to lay on lilo & just relax but busy enough to make friends sunbeds & umbrellas are free Bar opened from 8am till 2 am I ate out at the best Italian restaurant in Afandou town Sergio's & when I wanted to relax in hotel they even delivered my Italian food right to pool side to eat very relaxed at this hotel , I'm so looking forward to going back again this summer can't wait ?

I was there .. well its years ago. A bit of a travel to the beach as such.. Poor greek dude had to take a car for the luggage the steep hill getting in. Managemt was really good. And it was CLEAN!!! And honesty was key.. you could help your self with beer 24/7 just leave cash. I do not know if the same malakas run it at this point. I hope they do as it was a great hotell. But as I say .. how it is now? And you can sit outside.. the only noise you hear is some chatter from the pool.. All rooms afaik had balconies.

The hotel has big and clean rooms. It has air conditioning but is an extra 7 euros/ day. Not so bad as the prices are low for a room. Very nice balcony views of the sea and the village. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is simple but tasty. Overall,a very nice experience.

Booked this hotel as a last minute break. Then read the reviews! This is not the Ritz hotel as I think many previous reviews expected, but rather a low budget, clean hotel with a friendly staff who were in our opinion very friendly. Spoke to several couples who return to this hotel on an annual basis and everyone agreed that it is an ideal place as a base for seeing Rhodes. The one down side is the access, this is rather steep and even we found it hard going on foot for the last 50m as the gradient is over 20%.

Good views. Good management. Relatively cheap. Rather a steep walk uphill as hotel is aptly named.
